Az idegenvezetők emocionális megnyilvánulásainak hatása a turisták érzelmi állapotára
Get PDFWith the changing behavior of tourists, the role of tour guides in modern tourism extends beyond representing and presenting specific locations. The study examines the role of tour guide interactions and behavior in tourists ’emotional reactions and decision-making processes, which appears as an under-researched area in domestic and international academic literature. The research employs secondary and primary methods. Secondary research analyzed previous studies related to the topic, focusing on the relationship between tourism psychology and tour guiding. Primary data collection was carried out using an in-depth interview research method and a questionnaire survey. Based on the research findings, tour guides’ emotional expressions have a measurable and statistically significant impact on tourists ’affective states. Within the examined sample, an increase in the perceived intensity of emotional expressions by tour guides was associated with a positive change in tourists ’moods. The study provides a comprehensive overview of the relationship between tour guides’ interactions and tourists ’emotional responses.A turisták magatartásának változásával az idegenvezetők szerepe a jelen kor turizmusában túlmutat adott helyszínek képviseletén és prezentálásán. A kutatás az idegenvezetők emocionális megnyilvánulásainak hatását vizsgálja a turisták érzelmi állapotára, mely alulkutatott területként jelenik meg a belföldi és külföldi szakirodalmak vonatkozásában. A kutatás szekunder és primer kutatási módszert alkalmazott. A szekunder kutatás a témához kapcsolódó korábbi tanulmányokat dolgozta fel, a turizmuspszichológia és az idegenvezetés kapcsolatrendszerét vizsgálva. A primer adatgyűjtés mélyinterjús kutatási módszertannal, és kérdőíves megkereséssel dolgozott. A kutatás eredményei alapján az idegenvezetők érzelmi megnyilvánulásai mérhető és statisztikailag szignifikáns hatást gyakorolnak a turisták érzelmi állapotára. A vizsgált mintában a turisták által érzékelt emocionális megnyilvánulások mértékének növekedésével a turisták hangulata is pozitív irányban változott. A kutatás átfogó képet nyújt az idegenvezetők interakciói és a turisták érzelmi reakciói közötti kapcsolatról
Analysis of the Legal Framework for Combatting Human Trafficking in Kenya
Get PDFHuman trafficking remains a critical issue in Kenya, serving as a source, transit, and destination country for trafficking victims. Despite various legal initiatives, including the enactment of the Counter-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2010, the persistence of human trafficking indicates significant gaps in the country\u27s legal and enforcement mechanisms. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of Kenya\u27s current legal framework, identifying critical deficiencies that undermine efforts to combat human trafficking effectively. Through a qualitative research methodology, including document analysis and case studies, the study explores how effective Kenya is the in the field of anti-trafficking laws and in combating human trafficking. The findings underscore substantial weaknesses in enforcing these laws, largely due to systemic corruption, insufficient resources, and a lack of sufficient specialized training among law enforcement agencies. Additionally, the research highlights the socio-economic and cultural factors that exacerbate the vulnerability of specific groups, particularly women and children, to trafficking. These factors, coupled with inadequate victim protection measures, hinder the effectiveness of Kenya\u27s legal framework in addressing the root causes of human trafficking. The study concludes by offering targeted recommendations for strengthening Kenya\u27s legal response to human trafficking. These include enhancing victim protection services, imposing stricter penalties on traffickers, allocating more resources to enforcement agencies, and fostering better coordination among stakeholders, including government, local civil society, and international partners. By addressing these issues, Kenya can significantly improve its efforts to combat human trafficking, safeguard the rights of victims, and fulfill its international obligations under the Palermo Protocol

No full textThis study explores the mechanisms of pantheonization through the analysis of two early epistles by Ferenc Kazinczy—poetic letters addressed to Miklós Wesselényi Jr. and Farkas Cserey. It provides a detailed overview of the genre’s historical development and Kazinczy’s specific contribution to epistolary poetry. The text reveals various layers of Kazinczy’s memory work: in the epistle to Wesselényi Jr., the poet portrays the child as an idealized heir to a heroic legacy, while in the letter to Cserey, the act of remembrance is centered around a collection of autographs. The study emphasizes that Kazinczy’s epistles were not written solely for their addressees but intended for a broader public, shaped by a conscious memorial and nation-building agenda. Comparing the two poems highlights Kazinczy’s active role in shaping national memory, constructing a literary Pantheon, and contributing to early practices of cultural canonization.A tanulmány Kazinczy Ferenc két korai episztolájának – az ifj. Wesselényi Miklóshoz és Cserey Farkashoz írt költeményeknek – elemzésén keresztül vizsgálja a panteonizáció mechanizmusát. Részletesen bemutatja az episztola műfajának történetét és Kazinczy episztolaköltészetének sajátosságait. A szöveg Kazinczy emlékezeti tevékenységének különböző rétegeit tárja fel: az ifj. Wesselényihez írt versben a költő a hősies apai örökséghez méltó, eszményített gyermeket mutatja be, míg a Csereyhez írt episztolában az autográf gyűjtemény köré épülő emlékállítás áll a középpontban. A tanulmány hangsúlyozza, hogy Kazinczy episztolái nemcsak a címzetteknek, hanem szélesebb közösségnek szólnak, és emlékezetpolitikai szándék vezérli őket. No full textThe study seeks to answer the question, based on the responses to a questionnaire survey conducted on a national sample, of what differences can be experienced in the perceptions of the present and future of artificial intelligence between the opinions of those working in different types of libraries. The results suggest that employees of larger libraries and institutions with more complex workflows are more open to implementing artificial intelligence-based solutions. Librarians perceive the lack of financial resources and necessary expertise as the most significant challenge, but they are less concerned about the lack of support from society and professionals.A tanulmány arra keresi a választ egy hazai országos mintán készített kérdőíves felmérés válaszai alapján, hogy milyen különbségek tapasztalhatók a mesterséges intelligencia jelenének és jövőjének a megítélésében az egyes könyvtártípusokban dolgozók véleménye között. Az eredmények azt sugallják, hogy nagyobb könyvtárak és az összetettebb munkafolyamatokkal bíró intézmények munkatársai azok, akik nyitottabbak a mesterséges intelligencia alapú megoldások implementálására. A könyvtárosok a legjelentősebb kihívásnak az anyagi erőforrások és a szükséges szaktudás hiányát látják, ugyanakkor kevésbé tartanak a társadalom és a szakmabeliek támogatásának hiányától

Get PDFThrough the comparison of Bálint Szimler’s Lesson learned (2024) and İlker Çatak’s The Teachers’ Lounge (2023) I would like to give a thorough reflection on the different tendencies in the contemporary politics of education. My main aim is to detect the movies’ critique of the current educational systems, as well as their take on what the idealistic school structure would look like. With the close analysis of the images used in the movies for depicting the space of the school, one can get a deeper understanding of the different approaches of these films. Next to the images of the school, I would also like to put emphasis on the attitudes of the teachers depicted in the movies, since their behavior and their point of view can give an insight into those alternatives which the films provide. Because of the main focus of this study, I relied on critical pedagogy as a theoretical background, as it allowed me to explore this topic from the perspective of critique of ideology.Összehasonlító tanulmányomban két alkotás, Szimler Bálint 2024-es Fekete pont és İlker Çatak 2023-as A tanári szoba című filmjének elemzésén keresztül kívánok a kortárs oktatásról szóló diskurzushoz csatlakozni. Célom elsősorban a cselekményekben kibontakozó, oktatáspolitikát érintő kritikák azonosítása, valamint a filmek által ideálisnak sejtetett iskolastruktúrák összevetése. Ezt az iskolák ábrázolásában hangsúlyos képek elemzése által kívánom megközelíteni, reflektálva arra, hogy a filmek milyen módon gondolkodnak az iskola fizikai teréről, annak használatáról. Dolgozatomban hangsúlyos emellett még az alkotásokban felfedezhető tanári attitűdtök mélyebb vizsgálata is, hiszen ezek találóan reflektálnak azokra az alternatívákra, amelyeket a filmek kínálhatnak. Az alkotások elemzésének meghatározó elméleti hátterét a kritikai pedagógia alkotta, amely segítségemre szolgált ahhoz, hogy a kortárs oktatáspolitikai diskurzust ideológiakritikai perspektívából vizsgálhassam

The Protection of Human Rights Under the Artificial Intelligence Act

AI-driven technologies are now present in sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, food safety, education, media, sports, and culture, where they have the potential to optimize human time and enhance work efficiency. However, the social prospects of AI are both alluring and alarming; its promises and perils are difficult to disentangle. The risks to users have become an increasing concern as AI technologies are embedded in everyday products and services. Furthermore, AI can influence human behavior in new and unexpected ways, potentially undermining human dignity. To ensure better conditions for the application and use of AI in the development of social and economic sectors—while placing human rights at the center—the European Union enacted the AI Act, which entered into force in August 2024. This is the world’s first comprehensive AI legislation, establishing a legal framework for both users and developers of AI systems in Europe. It aims to create a safe, transparent, and trustworthy environment for the deployment of AI technologies.
