Válságok nyomán átalakuló fogyasztói magatartás
THE AIM OF THE PAPERThe aim of the study is to explore whether similarities can be identified in consumer responses tocrises of different structures affecting Hungary, and whether the changes in consumer preferencesduring crises lead to the emergence of new patterns. The study also aims to create a theoreticalframework for the relationship between crises and consumer behavior, which will lay the foundationfor further research directions.
METHODOLOGYWe used an exploratory qualitative approach in our research. We conducted in-depth interviews withrenowned representatives from six scientific fields to address the research questions. We coded thetranscripts inductively using ATLAS.ti software, then organized the resulting codes thematicallyaccording to deductive principles, thus obtaining structured, transparent results.
MOST IMPORTANT RESULTSDue to the specific nature of crises, responses to crises give rise to new patterns of consumerbehavior, some of which persist even after stabilization. We have identified two consumer groupsduring crises: proactive and reactive consumer groups, which use different coping strategies outsidethe group but homogeneous strategies within the group during times of crisis.
RECOMMENDATIONSDuring crises, considering the preferences of reactive and proactive consumer groups and followingemerging new patterns can help marketers and corporate decision-makers develop appropriatestrategies to maintain their market position. Taking identified groups into account promotessustainable consumption, which in turn leads to faster economic stabilization.A TANULMÁNY CÉLJAA tanulmány célja annak feltárása, hogy a Magyarországot érintő, különböző szerkezetű válságokra adottfogyasztói reakciókban felismerhetünk-e azonosságokat, valamint hogy a válságok során átalakult fogyasztóipreferenciák új mintázatok kialakulásához vezetnek-e. A tanulmány célja továbbá egy elméleti keretmegalkotása a válságok és fogyasztói magatartás összefüggésében, ami megalapozza a további kutatásiirányokat.
ALKALMAZOTT MÓDSZERTANA kutatás során feltáró kvalitatív megközelítést alkalmaztunk. A kutatás kérdéseihez hat tudományterületneves képviselőjével készítettünk szakértői mélyinterjúkat. A jegyzőkönyveket induktív módon kódoltukaz ATLAS.ti szoftver segítségével, majd a létrejött kódokat deduktív elv mentén tematikusan rendeztük, ígystrukturált átlátható eredményeket kaptunk.
LEGFONTOSABB EREDMÉNYEKA válságok speciális jellege mentén, a krízisre adott reakciókból új fogyasztóimagatartás-mintázatok alakulnak, melyek egy része a stabilizációt követően is tartósan fennmarad. A válságok alatt két fogyasztóicsoportot azonosítottunk; a proaktív és reaktív fogyasztói csoportokat, melyek csoporton kívül eltérő, decsoporton belül homogén megküzdési stratégiákat alkalmaznak a válságidőszakokban.
GYAKORLATI JAVASLATOKVálságok során a reaktív és proaktív fogyasztói csoportok preferenciáinak figyelembevétele, továbbá akialakuló új mintázatok követése segítheti a marketingszakembereket és vállalati döntéshozókat abban, hogy megfelelő stratégiákat dolgozzanak ki, ezzel fenntartva piaci pozíciójukat. A beazonosított csoportokfigyelembevétele elősegíti a fenntartható fogyasztás támogatását, ami egyúttal a gazdaság gyorsabb stabilizálásáteredményezheti
„Hattyúk is lesznek?” – Esküvőipar, tudatipar, tömegfilm
This study examines the ideology of romantic comedies centred on wedding preparations, focusing on the Hollywood trend of the 1990s and 2000s, which had high viewing figures and revenue. The text sheds light on how popular films produced by the entertainment industry shape the consumer logic associated with weddings, creating identity constructions related to ‘the big day’, and how they can become examples of the mode of operation of late capitalist cultural production.Csondor Soma tanulmányában az esküvői előkészületeket középpontba állító romantikus komédiák ideológiakritikai vizsgálatára vállalkozik, fókuszban a kilencvenes-kétezres évek – nézettségi és bevételi adatokat tekintve is figyelemre méltó – hollywoodi tendenciájával. A szöveg arra világít rá, hogy a kultúripar által előállított populáris filmek miként alakítják természetessé az esküvőkhöz kapcsolódó fogyasztói logikát, milyen („a nagy naphoz” fűződő) identitáskonstrukciókat hoznak létre, ezáltal hogyan válhatnak a késő kapitalista kultúratermelés működésmódjának szemléletes példáivá
The philosophical foundations of music education – old and new
Music education may seem to be a matter of mere pedagogical practice at first glance, but in many essential respects, it also involves philosophical questions. Questions such as: is music something discovered or something created? Why do people make music, and why do they feel compelled to do so? What makes a musical work good? What is the role of music in society, and what is its place in education? Do children learn musical works intellectually, through thinking, or motor and mechanical exercises? Or both at the same time? And how? In the natural and social sciences, knowledge can be assessed throughout education through written and oral examinations and tests, but in the case of music, how can a child\u27s understanding of works of art and general musical knowledge be assessed if it is not just lexical knowledge? What is musical knowledge? What is musical talent, which can be defined as a natural ability or skill in music? How many talents and skills constitute musical talent? My lecture is part of my doctoral thesis. It deals with the philosophical aspects of music education, tracing its roots back to antiquity. Philosophical writings generally reflect on the purpose, meaning, value, and impact of music education on human development and society. As Dewey (1916) suggests, philosophy can be seen as a general theory of education. In my lecture, I would like to provide a general understanding of the philosophical questions, both ancient and contemporary, about music education and attempt to answer them. This theoretical inquiry aims to contribute to the development of a new philosophy of music education, which I believe will foster innovative trends and ideas in related disciplines by offering a more comprehensive and nuanced understanding of music education. I hope that this new philosophy will inspire and guide future developments in music education
Considerations on transmorphemization. The monograph by Rudolf Flipović (Teorija jezika u kontaktu. Uvod u lingvistiku jezičnih dodira, 1986) became a model for Croatian language contact research. The applicability of Filipović\u27s transmorphemization theory to language contacts of the Croatian language with Italian, Hungarian, German and French is examined in this article. Filipović’s theory is based exclusively on the analysis of Croatian-English language contact. This gives rise to some difficulties in transferring Filipović’s patterns to other languages. The authors of the individual studies, with the exception of one, do not modify Filipović’s definitions, although they have recognized the problem. The inadequate interpretation of the structure of some words and the incorrect definition of some nouns indicate that linguistic-historical aspects were not considered
Bartolove i Krležine Lutke u intermedijalnom kontekstu
Bartol’s and Krleža’s Lutke (Dolls) in an Intermedial Context. A comparative analysis of Bartol’s sketch Lutke and Krleža’s scene Lutke from Banket u Blitvi (The Banquet in Blitva) reveals a highly complex network of intermedial relations, with the new optical art–film–playing a pivotal role. From the division of the subject and the experience of “heightened objectification,” through the puppet metaphor as a symbol of human determinism, to the aesthetic and philosophical implications of these visions, both texts display clear affinities with the poetics of silent cinema and its characteristic depersonalization of acting. The immaterial inscriptions of film within literature testify to the profound transformations that the cinematic medium introduced into the cultural landscape of the first half of the twentieth century. Within the framework of the pictorial turn and the broader process of interaction between linguistic and visual systems, Bartol and Krleža may be read as authors who, consciously or unconsciously, inscribed the experience of the new visual medium into their works. Their texts, sharing nearly identical symbolic motifs and intellectual conclusions, illustrate how literature becomes a site for reflection on and transposition of cinematic practices.Bartol’s and Krleža’s Lutke (Dolls) in an Intermedial Context. Demografske karakteristike hrvatskih naselja župe Bogdašina u XVIII. stoljeću
In this paper, we supplement our previous research on Croatian settlements along the Drava River east of the town of Barč in the 18th and 19th centuries. In this paper, as in the previous one, through a quantitative analysis of birth registry data and a qualitative analysis of surnames in the settlements of Drvljanci/Dravljanci (Révfalu), Križevci (Drávakeresztúr), and Starin (Drávasztára), we attempt to point to some settlement processes. With the help of available literature and comparative methods with previously conducted analyses (Martinci, Lukovišće, Novo Selo, Potonja, Brlobaš), we provide an overview of the settlement that created the basis for the further demographic and social development of these settlements.U ovom radu nadopunjujemo naša prijašnja istraživanja o hrvatskim naseljima uz Dravu istočnije od grada Barča u XVIII i XIX stoljeću. Kvantitativnom analizom podataka matičnih knjiga rođenih i kvalitativnom analizom prezimena naselja Drvljanci/Dravljanci (Révfalu), Križevci (Drávakeresztúr), i Starin (Drávasztára) pokušavamo ukazati na neke procese naseljavanja. Demographic characteristics of Croatian settlements of Bogdása parish in the 18th century. CHILDHOOD AND WELL-BEING : SOCIAL CONSTRUCTIONS, EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES, AND COMMUNITY INNOVATIONS IN THE 21ST CENTURY
This study explores the interrelation between the concept of child well-being and contemporary educational practices, with a particular focus on the 21st-century socio cultural context and the interpretation of childhood as a social construct. The author argues that child well-being is not merely a sum of physical and cognitive indicators but a complex experience shaped by culturally and socially embedded meaning systems. This recognition calls for the development of new pedagogical paradigms. The paper highlights well-being-oriented and community-based educational models as potential environments for fostering children\u27s autonomy, emotional safety, and social relationships. Through the examples of alternative pedagogies, community spaces, and parental cooperation, it illustrates how education can become a site of social participation and a redefinition of childhood. The study also emphasizes the significance of the teacher’s role from a mental health perspective, demonstrating that the educator’s well-being is essential for supporting children\u27s emotional and social development. The approach is both theoretically grounded and supported by practical examples, contributing to the development of a child-centered, empathetic, and reflective educational culture.
The Two Sides of Transfer in the Light of Psychotypology
The acquisition of foreign languages represents a considerable challenge for native speakers of non-Indo-European languages; consequently, the employment of multilingual learning strategies is imperative. The prerequisites for the use of these strategies are language awareness, crosslinguistic influence (CLI), and psychotypology.
The results of a questionnaire administered to students at the University of Pécs provide evidence that the majority of respondents perceive similarities between their foreign languages and almost two-thirds of them answered positively to the question whether these similarities helped them in learning new languages. However, one must not forget the so-called similarity paradox leading to negative transfer (interference). In this article, the author will focus on the responses including examples of typical mistakes attributed to the influence of previously learned languages. The Two Sides of Transfer in the Light of Psychotypology. The results of a questionnaire administered to students at the University of Pécs, in the context of a broader scale survey involving 300 respondents, provide evidence that the majority of respondents perceive similarities between their foreign languages and almost two-thirds of them answered positively to the question whether these similarities helped them in learning new languages. However, it is crucial to recognise the so-called similarity paradox, which can result in negative transfer (interference). The present article will concentrate on responses, with the purpose of illustrating typical mistakes attributed to the influence of previously acquired languages
