Design Thinking: A Case Study on Mushroom Farming
Get PDFIn this design thinking project, observations were conducted on a white oyster mushroom cultivation business in Ciakar Village. This family-owned and self-managed business faces no issues with local demand, as confirmed through interviews with the owner, which indicates a stable target market. However, from the supply side, current production levels are insufficient to meet market demand. Business operations are largely conventional, leading to extended production times. A significant challenge is the manual preparation of mushroom growth media, which lengthens production time and limits harvest capacity. Using a human-centered design thinking approach, this project proposes a prototype solution aimed at improving production efficiency, providing a foundation for further development tailored to the business owner's needs

Village Development and Sustainable Employment: Valuable Lessons from West Seram District
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the impact of village development on sustainable employment in West Seram District, focusing on strategies implemented to improve the local economy and reduce community dependence on seasonal sectors. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used in this research, involving in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, such as village heads, local business actors, and village communities. In addition, secondary data from government reports and academic literature were used to enrich the analysis. The results show that village development integrated with entrepreneurial skills development and local resource management can create more stable and sustainable employment. However, this study also found several constraints, particularly limited infrastructure and access to technology. These limitations pose a major challenge in achieving sustainable employment in rural areas. The implications of these findings suggest the importance of policies that support community capacity building and sustainable infrastructure investment to facilitate economic growth in villages. This research provides insights for policymakers and village development practitioners in designing more effective strategies for sustainable employment in rural areas
The Effect of Entrepreneurial Education on Internet Entrepreneurship Performance Mediated By Self-Efficacy (Empirical Study on Instagram Online Shop In Jakarta Province)

The development of social media not only helps people in building communication but also becomes a business opportunity for internet-based entrepreneurs. However, on the other hand, the topic that discusses internet entrepreneurship is still very rarely raised. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine what factors are able to improve or influence internet entrepreneurship performance. This study is included in the type of quantitative research, with the number of samples obtained as many as 500 respondents, the data collection technique used was a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used was PLS-SEM. The results of the study showed that entrepreneurial education had a significant and positive effect on internet entrepreneurial self-efficacy and internet entrepreneurship performance, especially financial, internal and learning and growth perspectives. Internet entrepreneurial self-efficacy was also found to have a significant and positive effect on all perspectives in internet entrepreneurship performance. Then internet entrepreneurial self-efficacy also has significant mediation between the influence of entrepreneurial education on all perspectives in internet entrepreneurship performance. However, entrepreneurial education was found to have no significant effect on internet entrepreneurship performance: customer perspectives
Patchwork Innovation: A Study of Social Bricolage and Social Value Creation in Indonesia's Social Enterprises
Get PDFThe concept of social bricolage highlights creativity, flexibility, and boldness in utilizing available resources as the core of the social entrepreneurship process. In developing countries like Indonesia, publicly listed companies occupy a strategic position as social development actors through hybrid models that integrate profit-making with social impact. This article critically and reflectively analyzes the application of social bricolage theory (Di Domenico et al., 2010) in three Indonesian public companies—PT Telkom Indonesia, PT Pertamina (Persero), and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk—using a case-based reflective essay approach. Five key dimensions—making do, improvisation, refusal to be constrained, stakeholder participation, and persuasion—are explored within the dynamic tension between commercial interests and social missions, as well as institutional challenges that shape the practice of social value creation. The findings suggest that implementing social bricolage in large-scale corporations is not only feasible but also represents an adaptive strategy in navigating the social complexities and regulatory pressures typical of emerging markets like Indonesia
The Effect of Profitability, Liquidity, Solvency, and Activity Ratios on Stock Prices with Dividend Payout Ratio as A Moderation Variable in Insurance Companies in Indonesia
Get PDFThis study aims to examine the influence of proxied financial performance on profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activity ratios, which are then moderated by dividend policy on the share price of insurance companies in Indonesia. Multi-linear regression panel data with a random effect approach was used to investigate the factors that influence stock prices. The sample data was selected to be limited to insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2014 to 2023. The data tested included 12 insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data was obtained from the company's quarterly report which can be accessed through S&P Capital IQ. In this study, the software used to process the data is Stata version 17. The results show that the profitability ratio proxied at Return on Equity (ROE), solvency ratio proxied at Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), activity ratio proxied at Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and dividend policy proxied at Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) have a significant effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, the ratio of liquidity proxied to the Current Ratio (CR) has no significant effect on the stock price and the DPR cannot moderate the influence of ROE on the stock price

Dan permasalahan utamanya adalah keberadaan Ronggeng Gunung sebagai salah satu kesenian tradisional sudah mengalami kemunduran, sehingga kini mulai kurang dikenal. Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana konsep dan desain karakter penari Ronggeng Gunung agar diminati generasi muda? (2) Visualisasi apa yang dirancang sesuai dengan karakter yang diminati generasi muda?. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dalam pembuatan desain karakter, penulis mengetahui melalui wawancara dan tes tentang minatnya generasi muda terhadap Ronggeng Gunung serta cerita masa lampau mengenai Dewi Rengganis yang terkait dalam Tari Ronggeng Gunung. Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pesan sosial dan nilai- nilai positif bagi generasi muda dapat diintegrasikan melalui analisis formalisme pada desain Virtual Idol ‘PLAVE’. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan formalisme dalam seni dan desain, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen visual yang dipertimbangkan untuk menciptakan karakter PLAVE yang dapat menyampaikan pesan positif kepada penontonnya. Dalam analisis ini, elemen-elemen seperti garis, warna, komposisi, ekspresi karakter, dan penggunaan simbolisme dieksplorasi untuk memahami bagaimana mereka berkontribusi terhadap pesan sosial yang diinginkan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mempertimbangkan bagaimana desain karakter PLAVE dapat mempengaruhi persepsi dan emosi penonton muda, serta dampaknya terhadap pemahaman mereka tentang nilai-nilai positif seperti persahabatan, keberanian, kerjasama, dan penerimaan terhadap keberagaman. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menghasilkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang bagaimana desain karakter PLAVE dapat menjadi sarana untuk menyebarkan pesan sosial yang relevan dan mempromosikan nilai-nilai positif kepada generasi muda melalui estetika visual dan representasi karakter

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengupas strategi desain interior yang dilakukan oleh konsultan desain interior dalam mengaplikasikan branding dari ritel terhadap gubahan interior ritel. Melalui hasil analisis dari penelitian ini ditemukan satu pola yang menjadi strategi desain interior untuk menjawab tantangan dari branding. Faktor terikat dan faktor bebas memegang peran penting dalam strategi yang dilaksanakan untuk merancang ritel.
