    Karakteristik Mikroenkapsulat Minyak Buah Merah (Pandanus conoideus Lam.) Berdasarkan Rasio Core to Coating pada Metode Gelasi Ion: [Characteristics of Red Fruit Oil Microencapsulates (Pandanus conoideus Lam.) Based on Core to Coating Ratio at Ion Gelation Method]

    Red fruit oil has high carotenoid content which has the potential as a natural pigment. Microencapsulation with ion gelation method is one of method that can be used to protect carotenoid compounds which are naturally sensitive to light, oxygen, and high temperatures. The successful of the encapsulation process can be seen from the characteristics of the product and its encapsulation efficiency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the core to coating ratio (CCR) on carotenoid efficiency and the characteristics of red fruit oil microencapsulation with the ionic gelation method using chitosan and STPP coating materials and their storage stability.fruit oil. In the preliminary stage is characterization of red fruit oil and the emulsion. In the main stage, red fruit oil microcapsules were made with variations of core to coating ratio (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4) and analyzed on the 1st and 11th days. Core to coating ratio affects water content, solubility, encapsulation efficiency, total carotenoids, carotenoid retention, antioxidant activity and stability, particle size, and color. Microencapsulates with a core to coating ratio of 1:1 gave the best results with 6.94±0.61% water content, 8.76±0.38% solubility, 67.89±5.72% encapsulation efficiency, 141.39±18.10 µg/g total carotenoid content, 83.31±2.75% carotenoid retention, 49.05±1.44 mg AAE/100 g antioxidant activity, and the value of °Hue 53.26 which shows a yellowish red color. The results of the particle size test showed a particle diameter of 1.5838 µm with a Polydispersity Index value of 0.374. Bahasa Indonesia Abstract: Minyak buah merah memiliki kandungan karotenoid tinggi yang berpotensi sebagai pewarna alami. Mikroenkapsulasi dengan metode gelasi ion merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk melindungi senyawa karotenoid yang secara natural bersifat sensitif terhadap cahaya, oksigen, dan suhu tinggi. Kesuksesan proses enkapsulasi dapat dilihat dari karakteristik produk dan efisiensi enkapsulasinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio core to coating (CCR) terhadap efisiensi karotenoid dan karakteristik mikroenkapsulat minyak buah merah dengan metode gelasi ionik menggunakan bahan penyalut kitosan dan STPP serta stabilitas penyimpanannya. Pada tahap pendahuluan dilakukan karakterisasi minyak buah merah yang digunakan dan emulsinya. Pada tahap utama dilakukan pembuatan mikroenkapsulat minyak buah merah dengan rasio core to coating (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4) dan dianalisis pada hari ke-1 dan ke-11. Rasio core to coating berpengaruh terhadap kadar air, kelarutan, efisiensi enkapsulasi, total karotenoid, retensi karotenoid, kapasitas antioksidan dan stabilitasnya, ukuran partikel, serta warna. Mikroenkapsulat dengan rasio core to coating 1:1 memberikan hasil terbaik dengan kadar air 6,94±0,61%, kelarutan 8,76±0,38%, efisiensi enkapsulasi 67,89±5,72%, kandungan total karotenoid 141,39±18,10 μg/g, retensi karotenoid 83,31±2,75%, kapasitas antioksidan 49,05±1,44 mg AAE/100 g, serta nilai °Hue 53,26 yang menunjukkan warna merah kekuningan. Hasil uji ukuran partikel menunjukkan diameter partikel sebesar 1,58 μm dengan nilai Polydispersity Index  0,374.

    Analyzing the Implementation of Islamic Criminal Law in the Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam and Within its Sharia Court

    Within the democratic Pancasila system regulated by the Indonesian government, every citizen's right is guaranteed by the government and religious organization to express their beliefs. Aceh, which has enacted regional regulations based on Islamic law and received government support for their implementation, has the freedom to establish its own policies. This study analyzes Aceh's implementation of the Criminal Code (Qanun Jinayah) as well as in its Sharia Court. The case study methodology utilized in this study is intended to provide qualitative data through description-analysis and descriptive qualitative research. According to this study, the execution of Qanun Jinayah in Aceh frequently generates controversy because certain parties believe that the implementation of the law violates human rights, which are normally maintained in democratic countries such as Indonesia. The law applies to both the Muslim and the non-Muslim Achenese. Despite this, numerous parties continue to support the execution of Qanun Jinayah, as they have complied with the exact law recognized by the Indonesian government

    Reinforcing Corporate Accountability in Indonesian Environmental Law: A Dialectical Examination of Strict Liability and Criminal Sanctions

    Corporate accountability in Indonesia's environmental law still faces fundamental challenges, especially in the aspect of applying criminal sanctions against legal entities that commit environmental pollution or destruction. In practice, law enforcement relies more on administrative approaches or civil lawsuits, which often do not provide a deterrent effect and tend to be inadequate in responding to the complexity of environmental damage caused by corporations. This research aims to fill this gap by critically examining how the principle of strict liability can be integrated with the criminal sanction mechanism in national environmental law. With a normative juridical approach and supported by relevant case studies, this study shows that the synergy between the two approaches is able to form a more accountable, effective, and responsive accountability framework to the principles of sustainable development. The results of the analysis recommend the need for a holistic environmental law enforcement model, which not only emphasizes the repressive aspect, but also encourages structural improvements in corporate supervision and active public involvement in overseeing environmental law enforcement in Indonesia

    Nurses’ Spiritual Well-Being and Spiritual Care Competence: A Cross-Sectional Study in Indonesia

    Spiritual well-being is a dynamic state wherein individuals may perceive and articulate affirmative emotions, actions, and thoughts in their interactions with themselves, others, the environment, and the transcendence (God). Aimed to analyze the relationship between nurses' spirituality and their competence in providing spiritual care to patients, the study employed a quantitative correlational method and a cross-sectional research design, selecting a sample of 348 Indonesian nurses who were actively working in various care units in hospitals or health centres. Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.904) was utilized to measure nurses' spirituality, and the Spiritual Care Competency Scale (SCCS) (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.962) was employed to measure nurses’ spiritual care competence. A Spearman correlation was conducted to evaluate the relationship between nurses’ spiritual well-being and nurses’ spiritual care competence. There was a significant positive relationship between the two variables, rs (356) = 0.214, p < 0.001. The results indicated that spiritual well-being can enhance nurses’ ability to provide spiritual care. Further research can address the limitations and shortcomings of the current study to provide respondents with a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between spiritual well-being and nurses' spiritual care competence. Additionally, future research can explore the various factors that influence both spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence.Kesejahteraan spiritual merupakan kepuasan yang mendasar pada peningkatan potensial dalam hidup seseorang dan kemampuan dalam mengekspresikan hubungan diri dengan pencipta, diri sendiri, orang lain, dan lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara spiritualitas perawat dan kompetensi mereka dalam memberikan asuhan spiritual kepada pasien. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan desain penelitian cross- sectional, sampel terdiri dari perawat Indonesia yang aktif di berbagai unit perawatan di rumah sakit atau pusat kesehatan, dipilih secara insidental, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 348 perawat di Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) (Alpha Cronbach= 0.904) untuk mengukur spiritualitas perawat dan Spiritual Care Competency Scale (SCCS) (Alpha Cronbach=0.962) sebagai kuesioner kompetensi dalam asuhan spiritual. Analisa data menggunakan Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan kesehjahteraan spritual dengan kompetensi asuhan spritual perawat dengan nilai (p-Value <0,001). Bagi peneliti selanjutnya Penelitian ini dapat ditingkatkan dengan memperbanyak jumlah responden dan menggunakan referensi yang lebih terbaru dan lebih banyak. Keterbatasan dan kekurangan penelitian dapat diatasi pada penelitian selanjutnya sehingga, responden dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang hubungan kesejahteraan spiritual dengan kompetensi asuhan spiritual perawat dan lebih meneliti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesehjahteraan spiritual dan kompetensi asuhan spiritual

    EKSPLORASI PEMAHAMAN DESIGN FOR CHANGE DAN KREATIVITAS GURU DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH INKLUSI [EXPLORING THE UNDERSTANDING OF DESIGN FOR CHANGE AND TEACHERS' CREATIVITY IN DEVELOPING MATHEMATICS LEARNING EVALUATION IN INCLUSIVE SCHOOLS]

    The dominant use of conventional learning evaluation is considered less relevant for students with special needs. This study aims to explore the implementation of mathematics learning in inclusive schools and to examine teachers' understanding of the Design for Change approach and their creativity in developing evaluations. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies on mathematics teachers at SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Teachers adopt the Problem Based Learning learning model combined with conventional methods to accommodate students with special needs with intellectual and physical disabilities. 2) Teachers have difficulty developing evaluation creativity because there is a lot of material that has not been achieved, as well as difficulty in applying HOTS questions to students with intellectual disabilities and students with low mathematics abilities. 3) The Design for Change approach is considered effective in supporting more creative and inclusive evaluations. This study recommends training for teachers to strengthen their understanding and application of Design for Change to improve the quality of inclusive learning evaluations. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Masih dominannya penggunaan evaluasi konvensional dianggap kurang relevan untuk peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di sekolah inklusi serta mengkaji pemahaman guru terhadap pendekatan Design for Change dan kreativitasnya dalam mengembangkan evaluasi. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur pada guru matematika di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Guru mengadopsi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yang dikombinasikan dengan model konvensional untuk mengakomodasi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus dengan tipe tunagrahita dan tunadaksa. 2) Guru terkendala mengembangkan kreativitas evaluasi karena banyak materi yang belum tercapai, serta sulit dalam menerapkan soal HOTS pada peserta didik tunagrahita dan peserta didik dengan kemampuan matematika rendah. 3) Pendekatan Design for Change dinilai efektif untuk mendukung evaluasi yang lebih kreatif dan inklusif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan bagi guru untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan penerapan Design for Change guna meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran yang inklusi

    This article explores the development of numeral systems across various ancient civilizations and connects these developments to Christian reflections on knowledge as a divine gift. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, the study traces the evolution of numeral systems in Egypt, Babylon, China, Greece, Rome, and the Hindu–Arabic tradition, along with the contributions of influential figures such as Ahmes, Liu Hui, Pythagoras, Brahmagupta, and Al-Khwarizmi. Through descriptive and chronological analysis, the study illustrates how practical needs, cultural contexts, and spiritual values shaped the formation of diverse numerical representations. The article emphasizes that numbers are not merely computational tools but cultural artifacts and intellectual symbols refined across generations. Additionally, Christian theological reflection offers a value-centered framework that affirms knowledge—including mathematics—as an expression of gratitude and a means of serving others. This study seeks to enrich mathematics education by presenting a more meaningful integration of historical and theological perspectives. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Artikel ini mengkaji evolusi sistem bilangan dalam berbagai peradaban kuno dan mengaitkannya dengan refleksi iman Kristiani mengenai makna pengetahuan sebagai anugerah ilahi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, penelitian ini menelusuri perkembangan sistem bilangan di Mesir, Babilonia, Cina, Yunani, Romawi, hingga dunia Hindu-Arab, serta peran tokoh-tokoh penting seperti Ahmes, Liu Hui, Pythagoras, Brahmagupta, dan Al-Khwarizmi. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dan kronologis untuk mengungkap bagaimana kebutuhan praktis, konteks budaya, dan nilai spiritual mendorong munculnya beragam sistem representasi bilangan. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa bilangan bukan sekadar alat hitung, tetapi merupakan produk budaya dan simbol intelektual manusia yang berkembang dari generasi ke generasi. Di samping itu, refleksi iman Kristen menjadi bingkai nilai yang memperkuat pandangan bahwa pengetahuan termasuk matematika merupakan sarana untuk bersyukur dan melayani sesama.     PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN OPPA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA MTS [THE USE OF OPPA LEARNING MEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING OF MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTS IN MTS]

    Students’ conceptual understanding of algebraic operations continues to pose challenges at the junior high school level. This study aims to enhance students’ mathematical conceptual understanding through the use of OPPA learning media (Operations of Addition and Subtraction in Algebra). Classroom action research was conducted in Class VII C of MTs Raudlatul Ulum Putri Ganjaran, involving 27 students. The study consisted of two cycles, each comprising the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The results show an improvement in students’ learning mastery from 18.51% in the pre-cycle to 81.48% in Cycle I and 92.59% in Cycle II. These findings indicate that OPPA learning media effectively enhance students’ conceptual understanding, promote active participation, and help clarify abstract concepts in algebra learning. OPPA media can serve as an alternative instructional strategy for teachers to foster active and meaningful mathematics learning. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam materi operasi aljabar masih menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran di tingkat Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran OPPA (Operasi Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan Aljabar). Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan di kelas VII C MTs Raudlatul Ulum Putri Ganjaran dengan 27 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 18,51% pada pra-siklus menjadi 81,48% pada siklus I, dan 92,59% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media OPPA efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, mendorong keterlibatan aktif, serta memperjelas konsep abstrak dalam pembelajaran aljabar. Media pembelajaran OPPA terbukti efektif dan layak diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran matematika di MTs untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa, serta dapat menjadi contoh bagi guru dan pengembang kurikulum dalam merancang pembelajaran yang aktif dan bermakna

    THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHAT BOT AI TO ENHANCE METACOGNITIVE INTERACTION IN INTEGRAL CALCULUS: A CASE STUDY ON THE METHOD OF INTEGRATION

    This study investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, with a particular emphasis on AI-based chatbots, to enhance metacognitive interactions in the learning of integral calculus, specifically within the domain of integration methods. By cultivating learners’ capacities for planning, monitoring, and evaluating their problem-solving strategies, AI-driven interventions act as catalysts for the development of metacognitive awareness in advanced mathematics instruction. Metacognition, which entails both the awareness and regulation of one’s cognitive processes, constitutes a critical determinant of effective problem-solving proficiency. Employing a case study design, this research explores the utilization of interactive AI chat prompts to deliver real-time guidance, thereby encouraging students to engage in reflective evaluation of their strategies and cognitive approaches. The efficacy of the AI platform is assessed through targeted interventions aimed at fostering metacognitive engagement and enhancing learning outcomes. The findings demonstrate that AI integration significantly supports students in identifying their cognitive strengths and limitations, while promoting the deployment of effective, adaptive problem-solving strategies. By reinforcing metacognitive interaction, this approach equips learners with the cognitive flexibility necessary to navigate complex mathematical tasks, simultaneously contributing to the progression of innovative, technology-enhanced pedagogical practices. Furthermore, the study highlights the role of AI-facilitated personalized learning and adaptive learning environments in supporting differentiated instruction tailored to individual learner profiles

    The Effect of Green Accounting and Tax Avoidance on Firm Value Moderated by the Board of Directors in Manufacturing Companies

    This study aims to examine the effect of green accounting and tax avoidance on firm value, with the board of directors as a moderating variable. The research uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis based on 86 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023, totalling 430 firm-year observations. The results show that green accounting has a significant negative effect on firm value, indicating that environmental cost disclosures are not yet perceived positively by the market. Meanwhile, tax avoidance has a significant positive effect, reflecting its perception as an efficiency strategy by investors. Although the board of directors does not directly affect firm value, it significantly moderates the relationships between the independent variables and firm value: weakening the negative impact of green accounting and strengthening the positive impact of tax avoidance. These findings highlight the importance of corporate governance in managing environmental and fiscal strategies to optimize firm value

    The Impact of Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurial Orientation on Women-Led MSME Performance: The Mediating Role of Innovation Capability

    Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a central role in Indonesia’s economy by generating employment and contributing to GDP. However, rapid technological change requires MSMEs to embrace digital transformation and strengthen entrepreneurial orientation to sustain growth. This study investigates how digital transformation and entrepreneurial orientation affect MSME performance, with innovation capability serving as a mediating factor. A quantitative descriptive design was employed, collecting data through surveys from 150 women-led MSMEs in the Greater Jakarta area. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test seven proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that digital transformation and entrepreneurial orientation both have positive effects on innovation capability and business performance. Furthermore, innovation capability significantly improves MSME performance and mediates the influence of digital and entrepreneurial factors. This study contributes to the literature by linking digital transformation and entrepreneurial orientation with innovation-driven performance in women-led MSMEs. It also provides practical insights for policymakers and support institutions to develop digitalization and innovation programs that strengthen competitiveness in a dynamic market environment
