No full text“Tygodnik Powszechny” is one of the oldest and the most merited Polish newspapers. It went through at least two periods while it served as an oppositional newspaper. This oppositional and intelligent character gave the paper a specific status in the world of Polish media. At the same time, it was difficult for “Tygodnik Powszechny” to undergo the change required by contemporary free market. What is more, taking “Tygodnik Powszechny” as an example, one could observe the vast majority of changes which influenced Polish media in the course of the last several days. Get PDFStudies on electoral behavior systematically confirm the influence of individual characteristics and the characteristics of the citizens on the level of political activity. For the variables most commonly examined include: level of education, professional status, age, gender and place of residence. Studies conducted just before the local elections in Gniezno, in 2014, allow us to analyze the impact of these characteristics on the political activity of voters. The objective of the article reflection will attempt to determine whether and to what extent, those characteristics determine political attitudes of Gniezno electorate.

No full textThis article attempts to characterize the general election for the Chairman of the Polish political party Platforma Obywatelska RP in 2013. In article described new law and compared technological solutions in the online vote. The results of the analysis indicate that these elections are by far the most advanced model of e-voting in Poland, which could become the basis, after pulling critical applications, the introduction of such solutions in the presidential elections, parliamentary or local government. At the same time it seems that the direct election of the head of the party, not only at the national level, a positive impact on its operation, allowing you to avoid many risks, especially political corruption
