Beyond the Non-Proliferation Treaty. A Case Study of India, Pakistan and North Korea
The main aim of the article is the presentation of important premises which were considered by these three states in conducting their military nuclear program. In the article both internal factors, such as political consolidation and strong society support, and external factors, such as deterrence and prestige were emphasised. For North Korea, nuclear weapons also became an attribute for gaining more international aid. The motives of India, North Korea and Pakistan for being a nuclear state are worrisome examples, because these three governments decided on nuclear weapons,,, despite the significant costs, such as sanctions, a risk of nuclear war or unstoppable arms race and the undermining of the non-proliferation regime
Teoria sekurytyzacji i konstruowanie bezpieczeństwa
Theory of securitization is one of the most significant approaches to security in recent decades. It is used in the theoretical debate on the very nature of security and in the analysis of the security practice. The concept of securitization, associated with the so called Copenhagen School, is an attempt to conceptualize the security in a new way, without losing its analytical utility. The main object of investigation is the process of constructing the security as an intersubjective process of including/excluding the issues into/from the security sphere. Security is treated as a speech act, and the theory is aiming to gain the understanding who is securitizing, what issues are securitized, who is a referent object, why, with what results and under what conditions.Theory of securitization is one of the most significant approaches to security in recent decades. The era of network terrorism. The evolution of the organisational structure of the global Salafi Jihad movement at the beginning of the twenty-first century
This article is an attempt to draw attention to the issue of the network nature of terrorist structures in the early twenty-first century. It analyses the essence of the so-called network terrorism from an Islamic perspective. The example of the global Salafi jihad movement (GSJM) is recognised as key. It is a social movement established at the turn of the century, referring to the Salafi ideology and promoting the so-called holy war with its enemies in theWest. One of the principal manifestations of its activity is terrorism. The evolution of the movement has occurred on several levels, one of the more important of these being organisational. The proliferation of the terrorist threat posed by the GSJM is closely associated with the construction of the network structure of the organisation. Analysis of the available sources indicates that the current organisation of the GSJM has the form of the so-called second-level structured network

Problemy bezpieczeństwa Unii Europejskiej
The institutions responsible for the security of those societies developed in the last two decades in the European Union. The Council of Europ accepted the first safety strategy in the history of this international organization. Terrorist attacks made taking forceful steps necessary. The process of creating union troops mainly in combat groups became significant. The creation of this group is the most important military initiative undertaken by the European Union. Since 2010 they have been working in rotation groups and with the ability to react quickly during a crisis outside European territory. Poland is taking part in this process with an increasingly active contribution to strengthen its position within EU structures. Poland is part of the Weimarsk and Visegrad combat group with other countries. There is no sign yet of the creation of a unileteral European army in the coming years. The European Union undertakes supplementary tasks in relation to military operations run by the United Nations and NATO.The institutions responsible for the security of those societies developed in the last two decades in the European Union.
