Changing The Lanes To Overtake: Exploring China’s Strategy Of Innovation
This article explores China's strategic approach to development, known as Lane-Change Overtaking (Huandao Chaoche), which emphasizes innovation, differentiation, and systemic coordination to bypass traditional development stages. Using a qualitative, interpretive approach based on multiple case studies from key sectors—including electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, and commercial drones—this study analyzes how China has successfully circumvented conventional development paths through strategic innovation and coordination. The research employs thematic content analysis of secondary data drawn from scholarly literature, official policy documents, industry reports, and credible news sources, guided by theories of latecomer advantage, disruptive innovation, and ecosystem building. This strategy involves identifying new tracks and building sufficient driving force to achieve leadership, as exemplified by China's success in the electric vehicle industry and its surge in patent applications. The core principles of Lane-Change Overtaking include aligning internal development needs with global trends, breaking path dependence, fostering disruptive innovation, and building robust ecosystems. The lessons derived from China's experiences offer valuable insights for developing nations, particularly Muslim countries, seeking to accelerate progress and enhance their global competitiveness through strategic adaptation of these principles to their unique socio-economic contexts
The Influence of Green Intellectual Capital on Sustainable Performance of MSMEs in Jambi City
This study aims to determine Green Human Capital, Green Relational Capital, Green Structural Capital on Sustainable Performance of MSMEs in Jambi City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed online and offline to MSME actors in the food sector registered at the Jambi City Trade and Industry Office with 92 respondents, the data collected was then analyzed using the SmartPLS 4.1.0.9 tool. The results of this study indicate that Green Human Capital does not affect the sustainable performance of MSMEs. This is due to the low awareness, capacity, and commitment of MSME actors to human resource-based environmental management, as well as limited training and budget. This finding does not support the Resource-Based View theory in the context of MSMEs in the food and beverage sector. On the contrary, Green Relational Capital has been shown to have a positive effect on Sustainable Performance, reflecting the importance of strategic partnerships and collaborative relationships oriented towards environmentally friendly practices. Likewise, Green Structural Capital has a significant effect on improving Sustainable Performance, through organizational systems and cultures that support efficiency and competitiveness based on the environment. This finding strengthens the relevance of the Resource-Based View Theory, especially on the role of intangible assets in the sustainability of MSMEs
The Influence of Leadership Style and Work Environment on Organizational Commitment
This study aims to examine the correlation between leadership style and work environment with organizational commitment at PT Triangle Motorindo. The data collection methods utilized encompass surveys, interviews, observation, and literature review. The sampling approach employed is simple random sampling, computed using the Slovin formula, yielding a sample size of 75 respondents. The analytical tools used include instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The data was processed using SPSS. The multiple linear regression analysis yielded the regression equation: Y = 24.918 + 0.268 X1 + 0.406 X2 + e. The results suggest that both leadership style and work environment have a large and beneficial impact on organizational commitment, both individually and together. The combined impact of leadership style and work environment accounts for 64.4% of the variability in organizational commitment, while the remaining 35.6% is attributed to other variables not considered in the study. An effective leadership style and a pleasant work environment have the potential to enhance organizational commitment
Audit Quality, CEO Ownership, and Earnings Management: An Empirical Analysis of Listed Non-Financial Services Firms in Nigeria
The primary objective of this study was to examine the moderating effect of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) share ownership on the relationship between audit quality and earnings management in Nigeria’s listed non-financial services firms, covering the period from 2013 to 2022. A sample of 72 firms was selected, with real earnings management employed as the proxy for the dependent variable. The study adopted a correlational and ex post facto research design, utilizing secondary data obtained from firms’ annual reports and the Nigerian Exchange Group website. Descriptive statistics and panel multiple regression analyses were conducted, with the random effects model and generalized least squares estimation applied for robustness. The findings reveal that audit quality has a negative and significant effect on earnings management, while CEO share ownership exerts a positive and significant effect. However, the moderated regression model indicates that CEO share ownership does not significantly moderate the relationship between audit quality and earnings management. The study concludes that CEO ownership levels do not influence how audit quality mitigates earnings management in Nigeria’s non-financial sector. Consequently, it recommends that regulatory efforts to curb earnings management should prioritize strengthening external audit quality and enforcing rigorous audit standards, rather than relying on CEO ownership structures as a corporate governance mechanism. Firms are advised to consistently maintain high audit quality standards to enhAdd Contributorance the credibility of financial reporting irrespective of CEO ownership levels
Does Government Debt Affect Economic Growth in Nigeria? A Short and Long Run Assessment
This study employed secondary data from the Central Bank of Nigeria and Nigeria’s statistical bulletin to investigate the impact of domestic debt on the economic growth of Nigeria for the period 20 years (2003-2022). The study uses Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as the dependent variable to measure the Nigerian economic growth; whereas, the domestic debt data include debts through Treasury bills, Treasury bonds and FGN bonds as the independent variables. Three hypotheses were tested using Johansen cointegration test and Error Correction model. The study reveals that total domestic debt has consistently increased over the years. The result of the cointegration test reveals that there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between domestic debts and GDP. The ECM result reveals that all the independent variables- Treasury bills, Treasury bond and FGN Bond have an insignificant but positive impact with the growth of Nigerian economy in the short run. The study concluded that the relationship between economic growth and the domestic debt is positive. Based on the outcome of the findings, the study recommended that the government should encourage policies to improve the public participation in the subscription of domestic debt instruments to ensure these variables continue to impact economic growth positively. Also, the positive impact of domestic debt on economic growth, government should channel their effort towards avenues that will boost internally generated funds and lessen the continuous borrowing as it could have a detrimental effect on macroeconomic growth in the long run

The Impact Of Electronic Service Quality, Trust, And Customer Satisfaction On Repurchase Intention (A Case Study of the Maxim Application)
The digital transformation in the transportation sector has led to a wave of service innovations, including the growing adoption of ride-hailing applications such as Maxim. This study explores how the quality of e-services influences customer trust and their intention to reuse the application, with a particular focus on the mediating role of user satisfaction. Using a quantitative approach and structural modeling techniques, the study engaged respondents with firsthand experience using the Maxim app to assess their perceptions of digital service dimensions such as reliability, responsiveness, and ease of use. The findings reveal that perceived service quality plays a vital role in shaping user satisfaction, which in turn fosters greater trust and loyalty toward the platform. Although service quality alone does not directly lead to increased trust, user satisfaction emerges as a critical bridge that drives repurchase intention. These insights underscore the importance of user experience strategies centered on satisfaction to enhance customer retention in digital service platforms. This research offers strategic implications for digital service providers aiming to develop technology-driven solutions that are not only efficient but also capable of fostering long-term customer relationships
