    No full text
This study aims to develop, validate, and evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of a Geography teaching module based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) for Remote Sensing material to enhance students' spatial thinking skills at SMAN 4 Gorontalo. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the 4D development model, consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Research subjects included students from classes X.7 and X.8, as well as Geography teachers from seven public senior high schools in Gorontalo City. Expert validation results indicate that the module is "highly feasible," receiving an average feasibility score of 94% from module experts and 91% from material experts. The practicality level is classified as very good based on classroom observations of teacher activity (97%) and student responses (92%). The module's effectiveness is demonstrated by significant improvements in learning outcomes, with N-Gain scores of 0.68 for class X.7 and 0.69 for class X.8—both categorized as moderate improvement. These findings reveal that the PjBL-based module successfully enhances spatial thinking skills, increases student engagement, and effectively supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The module is recommended as an applicable and contextual learning resource for Geography teachers.   &nbsp

Scoping Review: Comparison Of Organizational Culture Engineering Concepts Of Habit Formation, Shook, And Schein Models In Project Organizations

    No full text
Organizational culture is part of an integrated system, whether it's a structured organization or an unstructured community. Most research on organizational culture discusses the relationship between culture and other variables within the organization, or how to measure culture within an organization. In an era of technological advancement, rapid change, and high complexity, a method is needed to effectively change organizational culture. This study attempts to examine three concepts that offer methods for changing organizational culture. All three concepts offer the same paradigm: that cultural change does not begin with changing something abstract and soft-system. Rather, cultural change needs to begin with changing something concrete and tangible. This includes procedures, work methods, infrastructure, and other artifacts within the company organization. These three concepts are then synthesized to produce a proposed concept. This proposed concept is expected to be easier to implement and understand for activists and researchers in the field of organizational culture

“Excavate” The Impact of Word of Mouth Towards the Intention to Purchase Mobile Phone Among Older Consumers

    No full text
Mobile phones in modern times are a ‘must have’ item in keeping up with the latest happenings. Internal and external influences can however impact consumers’ intention to purchase a mobile phone. This paper aims to investigate the impact of word of mouth (WOM) towards older consumers’ purchase intention for mobile phones. Literature indicated that older consumers are vulnerable to this sort of influence especially when they deemed the content of advertising messages originated from a credible source. Furthermore, emotional appeal messages are influential in the behavioural purchase intention of the older population compared to the younger population due to the limited time perceived by older consumers and their decreased cognitive abilities. Primary data in this study is collected by a self-administered questionnaire involving 180 respondents selected through the simple random sampling approach. The sample population was all pre-determined to be aged above 50 years old. Analyses of data collection were done using SPSS to test the proposed hypotheses. Findings from this study aid marketer with their marketing campaigns for mobile phones with an enhanced understanding of the older consumer segment which possesses higher disposable income and purchasing power

This article discusses the digital transformation of passport services as part of public service reform in the immigration sector. The study analyzes public perceptions of the quality of M-Paspor–based passport services at the Class I Immigration Office TPI Jambi by integrating the SERVQUAL and e-service quality perspectives. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of digital-based passport services has been perceived very positively by service users, particularly in terms of accessibility, procedural certainty, and service efficiency. The consistency of high scores across service quality dimensions reflects the successful integration of digital systems with conventional service mechanisms. However, the analysis also reveals that the empathy dimension remains relatively weaker, indicating the need to strengthen human interaction and user experience within digital public services. Overall, this study confirms that digital transformation has contributed to improving passport service quality, while emphasizing that sustainable public value creation requires a balanced approach between technological innovation and user-oriented service delivery. The results provide empirical insights for strengthening digital public service governance in the immigration sector Key words: Passport Service Quality, Digital Transformation, SERVQUAL &nbsp

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the role of gamification strategies in social media marketing to increase customer loyalty among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In the era of growing digital competition, MSMEs need innovative approaches to attract and retain customers. Gamification, as an engagement-based marketing technique, leverages game elements such as rewards, leaderboards, and challenges to create interactive consumer experiences. This research employed a mixed-method design combining quantitative analysis (correlation and t-test) and qualitative insights to evaluate the impact of gamification on customer engagement and loyalty. The findings indicate a significant positive relationship between gamification strategies and customer loyalty, with gamified content on social media platforms proving effective in encouraging repeat purchases and strengthening brand attachment. The study contributes to marketing literature by providing empirical evidence of gamification effectiveness as a cost-efficient and scalable marketing tool for MSMEs. Practical recommendations are also provided for MSME practitioners in designing customer-centered campaigns to maximize engagement and loyalty in the evolving digital ecosystem

Data collection was carried out using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that social norms have a significant positive influence on open innovation ecosystem partnerships, as well as contributing to attitudes and perceived behavioral control. Furthermore, open innovation ecosystem partnerships and perceived behavioral control were shown to have a significant positive influence on the behavioral intentions of MSMEs in adopting sustainable business models. Attitudes toward sustainable business models also positively influence behavioral intentions. The conclusion of this study is that the adoption of sustainable business models in the Cobek Batu Merapi MSME industry is more determined by social support and the business owner's ability to manage sustainability practices than by individual attitudes alone. Therefore, building a partnership ecosystem that supports open innovation and strengthens social norms is key to increasing MSME commitment to sustainability

Employee Recruitment Process Based On Dessler's Theory (2013) At Uddan Store: A Grounded Theory Study

    No full text
This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the recruitment process at Toko Uddan, a small business in the goods distribution sector, using a qualitative approach and grounded theory analysis. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the owner, administrator, field coordinator, and employees. The results of the study show that recruitment at Toko Uddan is simple, flexible, and greatly influenced by social proximity. Candidates are obtained almost entirely through family and relative recommendations, while selection is conducted informally by considering personality, work ethic, and readiness to start working immediately. Orientation is provided through a one-week field trial period without formal training. Through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, this study produced a Relational-Operational Recruitment model consisting of three core categories: trust-based recruitment, personality- and work readiness-based selection, and rapid placement through hands-on practice. When compared to Dessler's (2013) recruitment theory, Toko Uddan's recruitment practices show significant differences in terms of formality, diversity of applicant sources, and objectivity of selection, but remain effective in the context of SMEs. The validity of the findings is maintained through the application of Lincoln and Guba's (1985) criteria, including credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. These findings make an important contribution to understanding relationship-based recruitment patterns in small businesses in Indonesia and their implications for more adaptive and contextual human resource managemen
