Arbitrary Divorce in Islamic Sharia and Bangladeshi Family Law: A Maqasid-Based Analytical Study
No full textالملخّص يتناول هذا البحث الموسوم بـ "الطلاق التعسفي في الشريعة الإسلامية وقانون الأسرة البنغلاديشي: دراسة وصفية تحليلية" واحدةً من أخطر القضايا الأسرية التي تهدد استقرار المجتمع وتزعزع بنيانه، وهي ظاهرة الطلاق التعسفي، وذلك من خلال منظور يجمع بين أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية ونصوص قانون الأسرة البنغلاديشي. ويسعى إلى كشف حقيقته وأسبابه وآثاره، مع إجراء مقارنة دقيقة بين الضوابط التي قررتها الشريعة الغرّاء، والإجراءات التي نصّ عليها التشريع البنغلاديشي.
وقد اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المقارن، وكشفت نتائجها أن الشريعة الإسلامية قد شددت على منع الطلاق التعسفي، وجعلت إيقاعه مشروطًا بوجود سبب مشروع، محذّرة من الإضرار بالزوجة أو النيل من حقوقها دون مسوّغ معتبر. كما أظهرت أن قانون الأسرة البنغلاديشي، وإن كان قد نظّم بعض الإجراءات المتعلقة بالطلاق، فإنه يركّز في مجمله على الجوانب الشكلية، دون أن يتناول بالدراسة أو المعالجة دوافع التعسف أو نواياه، الأمر الذي يترك ثغرات في الحماية القانونية. كما تبين أن المرأة المتضررة من الطلاق التعسفي في بنغلاديش تملك – نظريًا – حق المطالبة بالتعويض، غير أن هذا الحق يظل محدود الفاعلية بفعل صعوبات الإثبات، والقيود الاجتماعية، وضعف الآليات القضائية القائمة.
واختُتم البحث بجملة من التوصيات، أبرزها الدعوة إلى إصلاحات تشريعية شاملة تكفل حماية أوسع لحقوق المرأة، وتستلهم في فلسفتها وأحكامها مقاصد الشريعة الإسلامية في تحقيق العدل وصيانة الأسرة.

Adopting a descriptive-analytical comparative approach, it contrasts Sharia’s substantive safeguards—which prohibit divorce without legitimate cause and protect women’s rights—with Bangladeshi Family Law, which largely emphasizes procedural aspects and leaves substantive gaps. The findings reveal that while the law grants women the theoretical right to compensation, its effectiveness is undermined by evidentiary, social, and judicial constraints. The study concludes by recommending comprehensive legislative reforms that integrate Sharia’s objectives of justice, equity, and family preservation into the national legal framework.

The nominal sentence in the verses containing the word woman or one of its synonyms in the Holy Quran – a descriptive and analytical study
No full textملخص البحث: يتناولُ البحثُ مَوضُوعَ "بناءِ الجُملَةِ المشتمِلةِ لفظة َالمرأةِ ومرادفاتها في القرآن الكريم دراسة نحويّة دلالية"، فالألفاظ الدالَّة على المرأة متعدِّدة كالمرأة، والنّساء، والأم، والوالدة، والزّوجة، والأخت، والبنت، والحليلة، والصّاحبة؛ فكانت إشكاليةُ البحث، ماهِيّة الألفاظ الدّالَّة على المرأة في القرآن الكريم، وإفراد هذه الألفاظ بدراسة مستقلة تُظهِر العلاقة بين دلالة اللفظ والتّغيرات النّحوية التي تفيد المعنى. ويهدف البحثُ إلى جمع الآيات القرآنية التي ذكر فيها لفظة المرأة، ثم توضيحِ معاني هذه الألفاظ لغويًّا ودلاليًّا ونحويًا، وهنا تكمن أهمية البحث في إظهار الصور المتعددة التي جاءت عليها الجملة لتؤدي معانٍ مختلفةٍ تتعلَّق بالألفاظ الدَّالَّة على المرأة بصورها المختلفة، وربطها بالناحية الدّلالية، ومحاولة تفسير وتعليل مجيئها بهذه الصيغة بالذات، عن طريق اكتشاف المعاني والدّلالات الخفية وراء هذه التّراكيب النّحوية المختلفة، والرّبط بين المعاني الدَلالية للآيات والقواعد النّحوية. اتُّبِعَ المنهجُ الوصفيُّ والتحليلي، حيث تَمَّ عرض المادة وفقًا لما تقتضيه خطة البحث وتفريعاتها، فقد تم مناقشة الآيات التي ورد فيها ذكر المرأة نحويَّا ودلاليًّا، ثم إحصاء عدد الجمل بأنواعها الاسمية والفعلية والشرطية، وماهية الظواهر النَّحوية التي تعرضت لها، وأثرها على النّاحية المعنوية. وقد بيَّنت الدراسة أن الجملة الاسمية المشتملة على لفظة المرأة أة إحدى مرادفاتها وردت في خمسة وثلاثين موضعا، وقد تعددت أشكال المبتدأ والخبر فيها.
الكلمات المفتاحية: تعريف الجملة لغة واصطلاحا – الكلام – اللفظ.ABSTRACT: The research paper entitled "Structuring Sentences Containing the Word "Woman" and Its Synonyms written in the Holy Quran: A Syntactic and Semantic Study" It addresses the variety of definitions which describes the woman, such as "mother," "parent," "wife," "sister," "daughter," "analyst," and "companion." The goal of the research is to identify the defining words describing the woman and thus using its word independently pointing at the relationship between the meaning of the word that convey meaning. Firstly, the research aims to collect the Quranic verses which mentions the word “woman” or any of its meanings. Secondly, the research steps into describing their meanings as per each phrase linguistically, semantically, and syntactically. Finally, the focus of the research enlightens the reflection of every synonym, how it is used linguistically and its relation to the semantic aspect and explaining the reason it is used in every particular phrase. This will lead to exploring the hidden meanings and proofs and to discussing the link between the semantic meanings of the verses to the syntactic rules. The descriptive and analytical curriculum was followed. The material was presented according to the objectives of the research and the methodology required to reach these objectives. The verses were discussed thoroughly in both syntactical and semantical ways. All the sentences in which the phrase “woman”, or any of its meanings, were mentioned and counted as per the type of sentence used, such as nominal, conditional, verbal, etc. Moreover, the effect of the grammatical rules on the use of every phrase and how these phrases affected the whole meaning was exposed and explained
The Role of Memorizing the Holy Quran in Developing Productive Skills Among Non-Native Arabic Learners
No full textملخص البحث: هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف دور القرآن الكريم في رفع معدلات الإنتاج اللغوي لدى الحفظة من طلاب المستوى المتقدم في برنامج التأهيل اللغوي بمعهد تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها بجامعة أم القرى، وتعرف علاقة درجة الحفظ، بمعدل الأداء في المهارات الإنتاجية (التحدث والكتابة)، وبيان الفرق في تحصيل عينة من هؤلاء الطلاب الحفظة مع زملائهم من محدودي الحفظ، وغير الحفظة في تحصيل مهارات الإنتاج اللغوي، مستخدمًا المنهج شبه التجريبي، وقياس الفروق الإحصائية بين المجموعتين المتماثلتين من حيث المستوى الدراسي، المختلفتين من حيث مستويات حفظ القرآن الكريم، وذلك للوصول للنتائج التي كان منها: وجود علاقة إيجابية (طردية) ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجة الحفظ، ومعدل الأداء في المهارات الإنتاجية لدى طلاب المستوى المتقدم ببرنامج التأهيل اللغوي في معهد تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها بجامعة أم القرى.
الكلمات المفتاحية: دور/ حفظ القرآن الكريم/ المهارات الإنتاجية/ متعلمو اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها.Abstract: This study aims to examine the impact of Quran memorization on the development of productive language skills among students who memorize the Quran and are enrolled at the advanced level in the Language Qualification Diploma Program at the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers at Umm Al-Qura University. Additionally, it seeks to explore the correlation between the extent of memorization and students’ performance in productive skills (speaking and writing). The study compared a group of Quran memorizers with their peers who had limited or no memorization to examine differences in their acquisition of productive language skills. It adopted a quasi-experimental approach, analyzing statistical differences between two groups that shared the same academic level but varied in their proficiency in Quran memorization. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the extent of Quran memorization and performance in productive skills (speaking and writing) among advanced-level students in the Language Qualification Program at the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers at Umm Al-Qura University.

No full textملخص البحث: يتناول البحث الإطار المرجعي "إمتاع" في ضوء علم اللغة التطبيقي، بهدف تحليل مكوناته الأساسية في تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، مستعينًا بمؤشرات تشمل المهارات، الكفايات، التدرج، والتقويم. وقد أظهرت النتائج وجود اتساق تنظيمي داخلي، ومواءمة جيدة للأسس العلمية والبيئات التعليمية المتنوعة. يوصي البحث بتطوير المكوّنات التطبيقية وتعزيز التوثيق النظري في الطبعات القادمة.

Abstract: This study analyzes the "Imta’a" reference framework in light of applied linguistics, aiming to evaluate its core components in teaching Arabic as a foreign language. The research employed a descriptive-analytical approach and based its analysis on indicators including skills, competencies, progression, and assessment. The findings reveal internal coherence and alignment with scientific principles and diverse educational settings. The study offers recommendations for researchers and educational institutions to develop practical components and strengthen the theoretical foundation in future editions.

aCell: A Cell Model Using Artificial Chemistry for Exploring Computation in Nature

The model represents molecules as spheres and simulates chemical reactions through collision-based rewriting rules. Cell components like membranes are modeled abstractly. Experiments demonstrate aCell's capabilities in forming larger molecules from basic building blocks, modeling reversible reactions, implementing logic gates, storing state, and solving optimization problems. The unified framework supports simulating both essential biology and computation using the same artificial chemistry constructs. aCell provides a flexible platform for investigating information processing in natural cells and bio-inspired computing

This study examines the influence of key success factors on the performance of IT SMEs in Saudi Arabia, with a particular focus on the mediational role of effective information systems. The study emphasizes the alignment of these factors with the national economic goals outlined in Vision 2030. By analyzing innovation capability, knowledge sharing, access to infrastructure, business environment, and information systems, the research provides insights into how IT SMEs can thrive and contribute to the Kingdom’s economic transformation. The findings suggest that effective information systems significantly mediate the relationship between key success factors and SME performance, highlighting the importance of technological adoption in achieving the objectives of Vision 2030
Mediating Role of Entrepreneurial Mindset and the Relationship between Government Policies and SME’s Success
No full textThis study explores the role of entrepreneurial mindset as a mediator in the relationship between government policies and the success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Imo State, Nigeria. Previous research has largely focused on SMEs in mature economies, with limited attention to developing nations like Nigeria, particularly on the moderating role of the entrepreneurial mindset. To address this gap, the study formulated six objectives, six research questions, and thirteen hypotheses. A total of 334 questionnaires were distributed to SMEs registered in 2020, using stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, including regression analysis and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMC), at a 0.05 significance level. The findings revealed that government policies related to support, market pressure, and insecurity significantly impact SME success, with entrepreneurial mindset playing a crucial mediating role. The study concludes that fostering an entrepreneurial mindset strengthens the positive impact of government policies on SME success. It recommends targeted support for SME owners and policymakers to enhance SME performance in Imo State

This review consolidates current research on the impact of these determinants on the growth and adoption of Islamic financial products, emphasising the significance of religious principles in moulding customer expectations and contentment. By analysing the convergence of Islamic law and financial practice, this research enhances our comprehension of the essential elements that support the effectiveness of Islamic finance. These results emphasise the significance of ensuring that financial products and services adhere to Islamic ethical principles in order to cater to the changing requirements of Muslim clients

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of the Islamic Spirit on customer satisfaction with Islamic financial products, specifically examining important aspects including service quality, religiosity, and trust. Through a rigorous empirical research, this study investigates data collected from clients of Islamic banks and financial institutions in order to ascertain the degree to which the Islamic Spirit contributes to consumer happiness. The findings indicate that the Islamic Spirit plays a crucial role in influencing the connection between Islamic financial goods and consumer happiness. This emphasises the need of ensuring that financial services are in line with religious and ethical principles in order to cultivate customer loyalty and confidence. This study adds to the expanding collection of literature on Islamic finance by emphasising the crucial significance of spiritual and ethical variables in the decision-making processes of customers

No full textلقد اهتمّ القرآن الكريم ببناء القيم الأخلاقية اهتمامًا عظيمًا، وحث على التمسك بها، والعمل على تنميتها، بأحسن الصور والأفعال، لذا نجد أن دعوة الأنبياء عليهم السلام قد اشتملت على مجموعة من القيم الأخلاقية ظهرت من خلال حواراتهم، ذلك أن الاهتمام بمنظومة القيم الإسلامية له عظيم الأثر في تماسك المجتمع، لذا استهدف البحث إلى بيان القيم الأخلاقية في القرآن الكريم من خلال حوارات الأنبياء عليهم السلام ومالها من تأثير في حياة الفرد والمجتمع، وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الاستقرائي والاستنباطي والتحليلي، وقد توصل البحث إلى قوة تأثير الحوار في بناء القيم عند الأنبياء، كذلك أن للقيم الأخلاقية أثر بارز في حياة الفرد، فهي كذلك تعمل على بناء المجتمع وحماية المجتمع من الانحرافات الأخلاقية، وتعمل على تقوية العلاقات بين أفراد المجتمع.The Holy Qur'an has been greatly concerned about building moral values, and urged Muslims to adhere to them, and work to develop them, in the best forms and actions. Therefore, we find that the call of the prophets, peace be upon them, has included a set of moral values apparent in their dialogues, so the concern about the system of Islamic values has a great impact on the cohesion of society. The research aimed to clarify moral values in the Holy Qur'an through the dialogues of the prophets, peace be upon them, and their impact on the life of the individual and society. The research has adopted the inductive, deductive and analytical methodology. The research has found the power of the impact of dialogue in building values. In addition, moral values have a prominent impact on the life of the individual, work to build society and protect society from moral deviations, and work to strengthen relations between members of society
