Beyond Classical Testing: A Hybrid CFA and Rasch Validation of the Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale in Indonesia
Abstract: Intellectual humility is a vital construct for fostering open-mindedness, yet its measurement often lacks cross-cultural precision. This study provides a rigorous psychometric evaluation of the Comprehensive Intellectual Humility Scale (CIHS) within the Indonesian context (N=418), employing a dual-framework approach: Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Rasch Modeling. CFA results confirmed a robust four-factor structure with high internal consistency across all dimensions. Rasch analysis further validated the scale’s unidimensionality and person-item reliability. Notably, Wright Map analysis revealed an alignment gap, where several items were too easily endorsed, suggesting a potential ceiling effect in the Indonesian population. By integrating Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory, this study establishes the CIHS as a high-precision tool for local research while highlighting specific areas for item recalibration to enhance measurement sensitivity.

Understanding Moral Ethics and Its Relationship with Students’ Moral Conduct in Social Media Use
This study examines students’ understanding of moral ethics and its relationship with moral conduct in social media use among first-year students of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya. In the context of the increasing intensity of social media use among university students, this research aims to analyze how moral–ethical understanding shapes responsible, respectful, and ethical behavior in digital interactions. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected through an online questionnaire employing a Likert-scale instrument that measured two main variables: moral ethics understanding and moral conduct in social media use. The respondents consisted of 68 first-year engineering students selected through purposive sampling across several departments. The findings indicate a high level of moral ethics understanding among respondents, reflected in a strong tendency to agree with ethical principles such as respectful communication, protection of others’ privacy, responsibility for digital actions, and rejection of hoaxes, hate speech, and offensive content. Overall, positive responses dominated the data, suggesting that most students demonstrate commendable moral conduct in social media environments. The results further show a positive relationship between moral ethics understanding and moral behavior in social media use, indicating that students with higher ethical awareness tend to exhibit better moral conduct online. These findings underline the importance of moral and ethical education in higher education, particularly in preparing students to navigate digital spaces responsibly. The study concludes that strengthening moral ethics education can contribute to healthier and more ethical social media practices among university students, with implications for curriculum development and character education in academic institutions
Extending UTAUT3 with Sharia value to predict SOTS adoption among Gen Z
Purpose – This study analyzes the influence of behavioral intention and use behavior on the use of the Sharia Online Trading System (SOTS) among Generation Z investors in Indonesia by extending the UTAUT3 model through the Sharia value variable.Methodology– This study employed structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 4.1 software. Data were collected from 250 Generation Z investors across Indonesia through a purposive random sampling technique based on specific criteria.Findings – Effort expectancy, price value, and Sharia value had a significant positive impact on behavioral intention. Similarly, habit, performance expectancy, sharia value, and effort expectancy significantly influenced use behavior. In contrast, social influence, facilitating conditions, and hedonic motivation did not significantly affect either intention or use behavior. Notably, there was an unexpected negative relationship between behavioral intention and use behavior, indicating a complex dynamic that requires further investigation.Implications – This study reinforces the UTAUT3 model within the context of sharia digital finance and emphasizes the importance of effort expectancy, price value, and religious compliance in driving adoption. From a practical perspective, SOTS providers should focus on enhancing effort expectancy and integrating Sharia values to attract young Muslim investors.Originality – Sharia values are integrated into the UTAUT3 model to examine Generation Z’s adoption of the Sharia Online Trading System (SOTS). This integration addresses a research gap concerning behavioral factors in Sharia fintech within emerging markets
Efficiency and improvement potential of Sharia insurance: Implications of the financial sector strengthening law
Purpose – To compare efficiency conditions and potential improvements in the Sharia insurance company and examine its consistency with the law on strengthening and developing the financial sector.Methodology – The research sample included 21 Sharia life and 20 general insurance companies. The secondary data used were sourced from the financial statements of Sharia insurance companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesian Sharia Insurance Association (AASI) for 2017–2023. The research method used a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach.Findings – Sharia life insurance in Indonesia shows inefficient conditions, reflected in the low ratio of output to input due to the lack of business income, investment, and tabarru funds. In contrast, the general segment of Sharia was relatively more efficient, but burdened by high assets, liabilities, claims, and operational costs. The potential for improvement towards efficiency could be achieved by optimizing business income and Tabarru funds, as well as controlling inputs proportional to output. The Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector Law (PPSK Law) policy played a strategic role in strengthening capital and implementing the Sharia unit spin-off obligations expected to form a more independent and competitive institutional structure.Implications – The results have policy implications for regulators and industry players to strengthen the competitiveness of national Sharia insurance.Originality – This research offers a major novelty, namely, comparing the efficiency performance of life insurance and general Sharia, as well as linking efficiency results and potential improvements with the implementation of the PPSK Law
The impact of brand equity, service quality, and organizational performance on public trust in zakat institutions: evidence from Indonesia
With an emphasis on the functions of organizational performance, service quality, and brand equity, this study attempts to explore the factors that influence public confidence in Indonesian zakat institutions. A survey questionnaire was used in a quantitative manner. Information was gathered from Indonesian zakat institutions' donors and recipients. The Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method using SmartPLS 3.0 was used to examine the study model. The findings show that public trust is significantly positively impacted by organizational performance (β = 0.198, p < 0.01) and service quality (β = 0.771, p < 0.001). Remarkably, it was discovered that public trust was not significantly impacted by brand equity (β = -0.148, p = 0.568). With a significant explanatory power, the model accounts for 63.7% of the variation in public trust. In order to establish and maintain public trust, managers of zakat institutions should place a high priority on investments in excellent service delivery and strong internal governance, including accountability and transparency. Without these fundamental components, brand-building initiatives are insufficient. This study challenges the notion that brand equity has a direct impact on trust in religious charitable contexts by highlighting service quality as the most important driver of trust in Islamic social finance institutions
Implementasi Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Tempat Pemakaman Pada DKM Al-Furqon Sebagai Upaya Digitalisasi Layanan Masyarakat
Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam pelayanan publik berbasis masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk implementasi yang penting adalah digitalisasi layanan pengelolaan pemakaman, yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara manual melalui pencatatan buku atau dokumen sederhana. Proses manual tersebut sering menimbulkan permasalahan seperti duplikasi data, keterlambatan dalam pencarian informasi, serta keterbatasan akses data oleh pihak yang berkepentingan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem informasi pengelolaan tempat pemakaman pada DKM Al-Furqon sebagai bentuk transformasi digital untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan masyarakat. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan mengacu pada pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi ini mampu memfasilitasi pengelolaan data makam, pendaftaran pemakaman baru, pencarian lokasi makam, hingga penyajian laporan yang lebih akurat dan cepat. Selain itu, sistem ini juga memberikan transparansi bagi masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi terkait status ketersediaan lahan dan administrasi pemakaman. Implementasi sistem informasi ini sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah dalam mendorong transformasi digital di sektor pelayanan publik dan mendukung tercapainya efisiensi serta akuntabilitas pengelolaan data berbasis komunitas (Kementerian Kominfo RI, 2021). Secara keseluruhan, penerapan sistem informasi pengelolaan tempat pemakaman di DKM Al-Furqon tidak hanya memperbaiki efisiensi administrasi, tetapi juga memberikan nilai tambah berupa peningkatan kualitas pelayanan, kemudahan akses informasi, serta mendukung gerakan digitalisasi layanan masyarakat
Connecting the dots: Knowledge management as mediator and moderator between intellectual capital and procurement performance
Knowledge management is increasingly regarded as a strategic element in the public sector due to its potential in managing intangible assets such as intellectual capital. This study aims to examine the role of knowledge management as both a mediating and moderating variable in the relationship between public intellectual capital and government procurement performance, with a case study at the Ministry of Finance. Public intellectual capital is divided into five components: human capital, organizational capital, social capital, technological capital, and relational capital. The analysis employs structural equation modeling – partial least squares (SEM-PLS) with a total of 298 respondents. In the first model, where knowledge management is positioned as a moderating variable, the results indicate that human, social, and relational capital have a significant direct impact on procurement performance. However, knowledge management does not demonstrate a significant moderating effect on these relationships. In contrast, the second model highlights the mediating role of knowledge management, which significantly bridges the influence of several intellectual capital components, specifically organizational, social, technological, and relational capital on procurement performance outcomes. This study underscores the theoretical relevance of positioning knowledge management as a mediating mechanism in public intellectual capital research. These findings further emphasize the importance of systematically and strategically integrating knowledge management into intellectual capital, rather than merely as a supporting factor
Real-time Forensic Reconstruction of IPv6 NA Flood Attacks: A D4I Approach
The global transition to IPv6 has introduced new attack surfaces within core network protocols, particularly the Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP). One of the most critical yet often overlooked threats is the Neighbor Advertisement (NA) Flood attack. Unlike conventional volumetric DDoS attacks aimed at saturating network bandwidth, NA Flood exploits the Stateless Address Autoconfiguration (SLAAC) mechanism to trigger resource exhaustion on target devices. Investigating such incidents presents unique forensic challenges, as attack traces in volatile memory are often lost when using traditional dead forensics methods. This study implements a real-time forensic investigation approach by integrating Live Forensics methods with the Digital Forensic Framework for Reviewing and Investigating Cyber Attack (D4I). This method is applied to acquire crucial volatile artifacts during the attack and reconstruct the modus operandi through Cyber Kill Chain (CKC) mapping and Chain of Artifacts (CoA) construction. Experimental results demonstrate that NA Flood attacks possess dangerous asymmetric characteristics: generating low network traffic (4.71 Mbps) while causing a CPU surge of up to 50% and a memory increase of 89.5 MB on the target server. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of Live Forensics with the D4I framework to acquire volatile data in real-time and systematically transform raw artifacts into a comprehensive forensic conclusion. This approach successfully reconstructs the 5W1H (Who, What, Where, When, Why, How) elements of the incident and visualizes the shift of the point of failure from the network infrastructure to the endpoint, offering a robust model for investigating protocol-based resource exhaustion attacks
Analisis Penerapan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Operasional Harian pada CV. Berkat Cahaya Lestari
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional di CV Berkat Cahaya Lestari (BCL). Latar belakangnya adalah permasalahan efisiensi akibat prosedur kerja yang belum terstandar. Metode yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan kajian dokumen (deskripsi pekerjaan dan laporan operasional). Data dianalisis secara tematik untuk menguji beberapa proposisi penelitian. Hasilnya, penerapan SOP yang diperluas cakupannya (meliputi pengadaan, penyimpanan, dan pengiriman barang) berhasil mengurangi tugas yang tumpang tindih dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses. Misalnya, waktu penyelesaian proses order berkurang sekitar 20% setelah SOP diterapkan. Temuan ini sejalan dengan teori manajemen operasi bahwa standarisasi kerja dapat mempercepat alur tugas dan meminimalkan kesalahan. Dengan demikian, SOP yang jelas dan terstruktur terbukti penting dalam memperbaiki koordinasi kerja dan mengoptimalkan produktivitas CV Berkat Cahaya Lestari. Faktor Anteseden yang Mempengaruhi Kepercayaan dan Loyalitas Merek: Studi Kasus Restoran ‘All U Can Eat’ Kakkoii Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh advertisement/promotion dan social network service content terhadap consumer engagement, brand trust, dan brand loyalty pada Restoran Kakkoi All You Can Eat di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 200 responden pelanggan aktif yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, serta dianalisis menggunakan structural equation modeling berbasis partial least square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa advertisement/promotion berpengaruh signifikan terhadap consumer engagement, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap brand trust. Sebaliknya, social network service content tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap consumer engagement, tetapi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap brand trust.
