    Peran Kegiatan Keagamaan Masjid dalam Membentuk Karakter Jama’ah di Masjid Dakwatul Islam Yogyakarta

    This study aims to examine the role of religious activities in shaping the character of congregants at Masjid Dakwatul Islam, located in Depok District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. Amid growing concerns about moral decline and increasing crime rates in the area, the mosque has emerged as a non-formal institution that fulfills both educational and social functions. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that religious activities such as wirid kliwon, women’s Qur’anic study groups, and student Qur’an recitation (tadarus) contribute to character development through the collective internalization of Islamic values. The values formed include discipline, responsibility, empathy, religiosity, and social solidarity. Using Emile Durkheim’s theory of religious experience, this study shows that collective religious practices foster moral awareness and strengthen social bonds. This research offers a new contribution to the study of Islamic character education based on community engagement, and demonstrates that mosques can serve as transformative spaces that respond effectively and meaningfully to contemporary social challenges. [Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran kegiatan keagamaan dalam membentuk karakter jama’ah di Masjid Dakwatul Islam, yang terletak di Kecamatan Depok, Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta. Di tengah meningkatnya kekhawatiran tentang kemerosotan moral dan meningkatnya angka kejahatan di daerah tersebut, masjid telah muncul sebagai lembaga nonformal yang memenuhi fungsi pendidikan dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan keagamaan seperti wirid kliwon, kelompok studi Al-Qur’an wanita, dan pembacaan Al-Qur’an siswa (tadarus) berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan karakter melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam secara kolektif. Nilai-nilai yang terbentuk meliputi disiplin, tanggung jawab, empati, religiusitas, dan solidaritas sosial. Dengan menggunakan teori pengalaman keagamaan Emile Durkheim, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik keagamaan kolektif menumbuhkan kesadaran moral dan memperkuat ikatan sosial. Penelitian ini menawarkan kontribusi baru bagi studi pendidikan karakter Islam berdasarkan keterlibatan masyarakat, dan menunjukkan bahwa masjid dapat berfungsi sebagai ruang transformatif yang merespons tantangan sosial kontemporer secara efektif dan bermakna.

    Generation Z currently faces a complex digital paradox, where unlimited access to information is accompanied by identity crises, anxiety, and the attitude–behavior gap phenomenon, a discrepancy between value awareness and actual behavior. This study aims to reconstruct the character profile of ‘Ibād al-Raḥmān found in QS. Al-Furqan verses 63–77 as an alternative role model and curative solution to these problems. This study employs a qualitative method (library research) using thematic (mawḍū‘ī) and comparative (muqāran) exegesis approaches. The primary data sources are Tafsir al-Munir by Wahbah al-Zuḥaylī and Tafsir al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab. The results indicate a complementary synergy between the two scholars: al-Zuḥaylī emphasizes normative-theological aspects (legal obedience and eschatological orientation), while Quraish Shihab highlights sociological-humanist aspects (social stability and psychological well-being). The synthesis of these interpretations produces four main character dimensions: social ethics, spiritual balance, personal integrity, and transcendental awareness. Through recontextualization, the character of ‘Ibād al-Raḥmān proves relevant in addressing Generation Z’s challenges: the attribute of haunan (humility) serves as an antithesis to the culture of showing off (flexing), anti-zūr integrity functions as digital literacy ethics against hoaxes, and the practice of qiyām al-layl acts as a healing mechanism for mental health. [Generasi Z saat ini menghadapi paradoks digital yang kompleks, di mana kemudahan akses informasi justru diiringi dengan krisis identitas, kecemasan (anxiety), dan fenomena attitude–behavior gap atau kesenjangan antara kesadaran nilai dan perilaku nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi profil karakter ‘Ibād al-Raḥmān yang termaktub dalam QS. Al-Furqan ayat 63–77 sebagai role model alternatif dan solusi kuratif bagi problematika tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif (library research) dengan pendekatan tafsir tematik (mawḍū‘ī) dan komparatif (muqāran). Sumber data utama adalah Tafsir al-Munir karya Wahbah al-Zuḥaylī dan Tafsir al-Misbah karya M. Quraish Shihab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya sinergi komplementer antara kedua mufasir: al-Zuḥaylī menekankan aspek normatif-teologis (kepatuhan hukum dan orientasi akhirat), sedangkan Quraish Shihab menekankan aspek sosiologis-humanis (stabilitas sosial dan kesejahteraan psikologis). Sintesis kedua tafsir ini menghasilkan empat dimensi karakter utama, yaitu etika sosial, keseimbangan spiritual, integritas diri, dan kesadaran transendental. Melalui rekontekstualisasi, karakter ‘Ibād al-Raḥmān terbukti relevan untuk mengatasi tantangan Generasi Z: sifat haunan (rendah hati) sebagai antitesis budaya pamer (flexing), integritas anti-zūr sebagai etika literasi digital dalam melawan hoaks, serta praktik qiyām al-layl sebagai mekanisme healing bagi kesehatan mental.

    Basic psychological needs and financial well-being among e-commerce outsourcing employees: The role of financial attitude

    Purpose – This study investigates the relationship between basic psychological needs and financial well-being among outsourced employees in the e-commerce sector of Indonesia, with financial attitude as a mediating variable. Based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT), it aims to explore how the fulfillment of autonomy, competence, and relatedness contributes to positive financial outcomes.Design/methodology/approach – This research applied a quantitative method by collecting survey data from 422 outsourced employees in Indonesia’s e-commerce sector. Data were obtained through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM - PLS) technique, using SmartPLS version 4.0.9.9Findings – The research results show that basic psychological needs have a significant positive effect on financial attitude and financial well-being. Financial attitude was found to partially mediate the relationship between psychological needs and financial well-being. When the psychological needs of e-commerce outsourcing employees are fulfilled, they not only feel better emotionally and become more motivated but also exhibit more adaptive financial behaviors. Adaptive financial behavior, combined with positive financial attitudes, can help employees achieve greater financial well-being.Research limitations/implications – This study is limited by its cross-sectional design and narrow employment context, which may affect generalizability. Using self-report surveys alone may not capture the full experiences of outsourced employees. Future research should consider longitudinal methods and qualitative approaches, such as interviews, to explore psychological needs and financial well-being more deeply.Practical implications – Organizations should foster supportive work environments that meet employees’ psychological needs and integrate financial education into employee support programs. This holistic approach can enhance financial well-being, particularly in unstable or outsourced work settings.Originality/value – This study expands the application of Self-Determination Theory within financial behavior by emphasizing how psychological needs influence individuals’ financial attitudes and outcomes. It also highlights the essential role of psychological resources in supporting financial well-being, especially among workers in unstable or uncertain employment conditions

    The Paradox of Regulation: Why Emotion Management Increases Climate Anxiety in Generation Z

    Abstract: Climate change is the defining existential crisis of the 21st century, posing a unique psychological burden on Generation Z. While emotion regulation (ER) typically buffers against clinical anxiety, its role in the context of global environmental threats remains contested. This study examines the relationship between ER and climate anxiety among Gen Z (N = 411), investigating gender as a potential moderator. Contrary to established psychological paradigms where regulation reduces distress, our results reveal that higher emotion regulation significantly amplifies climate change anxiety. This suggests that in the face of systemic environmental collapse, "effective" regulation does not function as a sedative; instead, it may heighten emotional proximity and sensitivity to ecological threats. Furthermore, gender significantly moderates this relationship, indicating distinct pathways of emotional processing between groups. These findings challenge the traditional definition of "adaptive" regulation, suggesting that for Gen Z, climate anxiety may be a rational, regulated response rather than a pathology.     The Decadal Evolution of Career Decision-Making (2015–2025): A Bibliometric Mapping of Emerging Frontiers

    Abstract: As the modern workplace undergoes systemic shifts, the literature on career decision-making (CDM) has expanded in volume but fragmented in focus. This study synthesizes 1,872 Scopus-indexed articles from 2015 to 2025 to map the field’s intellectual landscape and emerging trajectories. Utilizing performance analysis and science mapping, we identify an exponential growth in productivity, peaking in 2025, with the United States and Itamar Gati maintaining dominant citation influence. While Social Cognitive Career Theory remains the primary bedrock, keyword co-occurrence and overlay visualizations reveal a significant paradigm shift: research is pivoting from isolated individual-psychological factors toward highly contextual, adaptive, and systemic models. Furthermore, international co-authorship patterns indicate a burgeoning diversification of global perspectives beyond Western-centric frameworks. These findings provide a strategic roadmap for scholars, highlighting the transition from "symptom-based" CDM research to "context-adaptive" modeling in an era of global labor market disruption.     Digital Democracy vs Invisible Oppressions of Platform Partners: Critical Understanding of Platform Economy in the Regime of Digital India

    This paper examines the emerging challenges of the digitalized economy with specific reference to ride-hailing and food delivery platform workers in India. It critically analyses the oppressive nature of the platform economy through the lens of worker rights, highlighting how algorithmic control, employment informality, and the absence of social and legal protection shape workers’ everyday experiences. A significant concern addressed in the study is the growing participation of youth in precarious platform work, often at the cost of discontinuing formal education. This trend raises serious long-term implications, including potential skilled labour shortages and increased workforce vulnerability. The paper therefore emphasizes the importance of understanding both the perspectives of young platform workers and the role of the state in regulating platform-based economy. It further interrogates the notion of “digital democracy,” arguing that while platform capitalism promotes economic growth and technological inclusion, it simultaneously fails to ensure democratic rights of the workers. This contradiction is examined through a critical analysis of the Social Security Code and its provisions for platform workers. Methodologically, the study adopts a focused group interviews method, content analysis, and participants observation method. Fieldwork was conducted among the workers of ride-hailing and food delivery platforms in Kolkata, West Bengal and in South Delhi. By foregrounding workers lived experiences, the paper contributes to ongoing debates on platform workers, youth employment, and the limitations of welfare provisions of workers in the digital economy

    A data envelopment analysis of Sharia stock listed companies on the Jakarta Islamic Index

    Purpose – This study analyzes the efficiency of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during the 2020–2023 period. Method – This study applies data envelopment analysis (DEA) using total assets, equity, and operational expenses as input variables, with market capitalization and earnings per share (EPS) as output variables. Market capitalization is employed to capture a firm’s ability to convert internal resources into market-recognized value as shaped by investor perception.Findings – The results indicate that most JII companies operate inefficiently, with efficiency scores below 0.2. Several benchmark firms form the efficiency frontier: Adaro Energy Indonesia (2022), Indo Tambangraya Megah (2022), Bumi Resources Minerals (2021), Unilever Indonesia (2021), and Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia (2021). The sector-wise analysis indicates that the financial sector exhibits the highest and most consistent scale efficiency. In contrast, from an industrial perspective, the transportation and energy sectors demonstrate the most optimal efficiency performance. Regarding ownership structure, state-owned enterprises consistently achieve higher scale efficiency than privately owned companies. Further analysis suggests that efficiency improvements are primarily driven by output performance, particularly market capitalization, highlighting the relevance of an output-oriented approach to long-term efficiency strategies. Implications – This perspective suggests that efficiency in Sharia Stock Listed Companies depends not only on internal management performance, but also on external market perceptions that determine their market value. Originality – This study offers originality by employing DEA approach to assess the efficiency of Sharia stock-listed companies in the JII, integrating sectoral, industrial, and ownership perspectives that have received limited attention in prior research

    Niat whistleblowing merupakan komponen penting dalam menjaga integritas dan akuntabilitas sektor publik, khususnya pada lingkungan kerja ASN dan pegawai BUMN yang berhadapan dengan risiko retaliasi dan tantangan etis yang kompleks. Perkembangan teknologi digital dan media sosial turut mengubah dinamika pelaporan pelanggaran, namun belum sepenuhnya terjelaskan dalam pendekatan teoretis yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan model konseptual mengenai pengaruh efektivitas whistleblowing system, kepercayaan terhadap organisasi, dan persepsi risiko retaliasi terhadap niat whistleblowing. Untuk membangun kerangka hubungan tersebut, penelitian ini mengintegrasikan Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) dan Organizational Trust Theory (OTT) sebagai dasar teoretis yang menjelaskan pembentukan sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku dalam proses pengambilan keputusan melaporkan pelanggaran. Selain itu, perlindungan whistleblower dan viralitas media sosial diposisikan sebagai variabel moderasi yang dapat memperkuat atau memperlemah hubungan antarvariabel utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif konseptual melalui analisis literatur untuk membangun model yang komprehensif dan relevan dengan konteks digitalisasi tata kelola sektor publik. Model konseptual yang dihasilkan diharapkan memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memahami niat whistleblowing serta menjadi rujukan bagi penelitian empiris dan pengembangan kebijakan perlindungan pelapor di Indonesia

    Sustainable Supply Chain Management untuk UMKM

    Dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi sekaligus efektivitas pengelolaan logistik, pelaku usaha khususnya UMKM perlu membangun kapabilitas suistainable supply chain management. Merespons kebutuhan tersebut, diinisiasi pelatihan terstruktur mengenai Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) yang berkembang menuju Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) dengan fokus penerapan pada empat ranah logistik hijau, yakni transportasi, pergudangan, kemasan, dan reverse logistics. Pelatihan diikuti oleh UMKM yang menangani operasi logistik dan distribusi untuk menilai penyerapan materi, serta dilengkapi latihan dan studi kasus yang merefleksikan kondisi lapangan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan nilai post-test dibandingkan pre-test, yang mengindikasikan pemahaman yang lebih baik atas praktik inti seperti optimasi rute dan muatan, efisiensi energi di gudang, perancangan kemasan berprinsip reduce–reuse–recycle, dan pengelolaan aliran balik produk. Selain peningkatan pengetahuan, peserta juga menyiapkan langkah pemantauan indikator sederhana yaitu energi, bahan bakar, limbah dan pengantar pelaporan keberlanjutan berbasis GRI yang proporsional bagi skala UMKM

    Inovasi Teknologi pada Proses Produksi Makanan Olahan Tradisional

    Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk membantu UMKM Makanan XYZ dalam meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas produk gethuk goreng madu. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah keterbatasan teknologi produksi, khususnya pada proses penggilingan adonan yang masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga memakan waktu lama, hasil giling tidak seragam, dan menimbulkan kelelahan pekerja. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), perancangan, pembuatan, hingga implementasi mesin penggiling adonan berbasis listrik dengan memperhatikan aspek ergonomi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mesin penggiling yang dihasilkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi waktu produksi, kualitas hasil gilingan lebih merata, serta mengurangi beban kerja pekerja. Selain itu, dilakukan pelatihan pengoperasian dan perawatan mesin agar mitra dapat memanfaatkan teknologi secara optimal. Program ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan teknologi tepat guna dapat meningkatkan daya saing UMKM sekaligus mendukung pelestarian kuliner tradisional
