Decoding employee digital performance: An in-depth literature analysis
Digitalization has permeated into personal life and organizational operations, capturing significant interest from various organizations. They are uncertain about how to measure the impact of factors and metrics in the digital transformation process on Employee Digital Performance (EDP). This uncertainty poses challenges for decision-makers in assessing the feasibility of digitization and predicting employee performance outcomes. This study, employing the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), conducted a comprehensive evaluation of 32 articles, providing influencing factors, performance indicators, metrics, and scales to fill this crucial research gap. The paper reviews the results based on the theoretical vantage points of the Results and Determinants (RD) and "Adaptive Enterprise Architecture" frameworks (EA). The research results indicate that, firstly, in terms of factors influencing employee performance, leadership types, HRM, and digital technology as independent variables significantly impact employee performance, with numerous studies highlighting the crucial role of digital technology. Furthermore, employee attitude and behavior variables, as important mediating variables, exist between organizational support factors and employee performance. Secondly, in the PI style assessment domain, the evaluation of Employee Performance emphasizes flexibility, job quality, and innovation capabilities, particularly highlighting the utilization of resources (i.e., improving job performance with digital resources). However, there is a research gap in the study of competitiveness and finance. Additionally, this study compares the differences in measurement between organizational digital performance and EDP. The research findings lay a solid foundation for further exploration of "digital design" and performance outcomes and provide direction for future studies

MyMathly: A Persuasive Mobile Game Application in Enhancing Mathematics Learning for School Learners
The growing reliance on technological devices among children, mainly through mobile games, poses risks such as addiction while also offering opportunities for educational enhancement. In Malaysia, only 36% of primary school students achieve excellence in mathematics, a situation worsened by negative attitudes and anxiety towards the subject. Traditional teaching methods have proven inadequate in addressing these challenges. To tackle this issue, MyMathly, a gamified persuasive mobile game prototype, is developed to motivate students and improve their proficiency in mathematics. A pilot study has been conducted to evaluate the persuasiveness and effectiveness of the MyMathly prototype using the Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ) as an instrument. It has been evaluated across four key elements: ease of use, ease of learning, information structure, and user satisfaction. The findings indicate that MyMathly successfully engages students, improves their motivation, and positively influences their behaviour towards learning mathematics. This study contributes valuable insights into designing and implementing gamified educational tools that align with the Malaysian curriculum, addressing cultural relevance and educational needs
THE APPLICATION OF PROMISE (WA‘D) IN ISLAMIC BANKING CONTRACTS IN MALAYSIA: A MASLAHAH PERSPECTIVE
The concept of promise in Islamic banking contracts is a novel tool that has been introduced as a result of recent advancements. Wa’d has grown in popularity in recent years because it provides great flexibility. It was primarily developed by Malaysia’s Islamic banks for product structuring. However, there are issues arising from this principle, which is considered to be against Shariah and merely intended to preserve the bank’s interests, which is of course, contrary to Maqasid al-Shariah. The purpose of this study is to look into the significance of the promise concept in Islamic banking contracts, taking into account the maslahah and mafsadah principles recommended in Maqasid al- Shariah. The study uses a qualitative approach as it allows a more in-depth understanding of the subject matter. Data were gathered using published literature and information from the official website of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). A semi-structured interview was conducted with three Shariah experts from the Shariah Advisory Council of Bank Negara Malaysia (SACBNM) and two industry practitioners from Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB) and Maybank Islamic Berhad (MIB). The data obtained was analysed using the content analysis approach. In sum, the examination of Islamic law sources and discussions with Islamic scholars revealed that the use of the principle of promise in Islamic banking transactions can benefit the micro and macro economy. The concept of promise in Islamic banking contracts can benefit both customers and Islamic banks, particularly in terms ofmeeting consumer needs, generating profit for Islamic banks, as well as contributing to the country’s development (maqasid kulliyah)
Requirements of Enjoyable Mobile Learning Applications for Deaf Children
In the domain of mobile learning applications for deaf children, many studies are more concerned with the development of mobile learning applications for deaf children than with determining what makes them enjoyable for this group of children. Some of these learning applications do not meet the needs of deaf children for learning since the requirements were not collected from the actual deaf children. As a result, many deaf learning applications are still not gaining much popularity among people who are deaf or hard of hearing due to the application due to the applications’ inability to meet their expectations and needs. Hence, this paper aims to identify the requirements for designing an enjoyable mobile learning application for deaf children. In achieving this goal, it is essential to identify the requirements of deaf children on mobile learning applications from their own everyday experience and support these identified needs with requirements gathered from their parents and teachers and literature. Three methods were conducted for this study to identify and synthesise these requirements: (1) Fun Sorter data collection method was conducted among the deaf children, whose ages are between 7 and 12 years old; (2) an interview involving teachers and parents of deaf children; and (3) a literature review on deaf children’s learning. The identified requirements were verified through a focused group attended by eight mobile learning developers. The finding identified six requirements: multimedia elements, games, easy-to-use, simple tasks, guidance, and alerting. These requirements serve as crucial guidelines for mobile app developers, enabling the creation of enjoyable learningapplications designed specifically for deaf children. Furthermore, these requirements can potentially improve the learning journey ofdeaf children, offering them valuable benefits and enhancing their educational experiences.

These findings demonstrate the importance of maintaining information retention to maximize learning outcomes in plant anatomy lessons.
Significance – This study indicates that maintaining retention can be a simple and powerful learning approach to help high school teachers teach complex material. The study highlights the significance of maintaining student retention to improve learning performance.
THE SMALL CLAIM COURTS DURING COVID-19: ANALYSIS OF INDONESIAN BANKS’ CLAIMS ON BAD CREDIT
The purpose of this study is to discuss the suitability of small claim courts to solve bad credit claims that are filed by banks as an alternative to dispute contract defaults. The study analyses the trend of banks’ small claims during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employed an empirical normative approach. It combines a normative legal approach and additional empirical elements in the form of cases and decisions. The results show that some of the regulations that were released before the pandemic, such as the Regulation of the Supreme Court Number 4 of 2019 on the Settlement of Small Claim Courts, provide benefits for banks to settle credit disputes because they allow various expansions. The Regulation of the Supreme Court Number 3 of 2018 on The Administration of Cases in Electronic Courts has introduced some electronic applications. Although business (bank) litigation remains dominant, the trend of bank claims in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic has dropped. In contrast, the trend of individual claims has increased significantly. The decline is influenced by countercyclical policies that are issued by the Financial System Stability Committee. The committee members consist of representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority, and the Deposit Insurance Corporation. It aims to handle and cope with the banks’ crisis related to the pandemic
