Good Health and Well Being: Discussion from the Perspective of TCM on Post Covid-19 Symptoms
Sustainable healthcare and well-being are major concerns in modern society. However, the healthcare support will be under great pressure, especially under critical period of time, for example the recent COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic is getting under control gradually, long-term consequences of COVID-19 infection are discovered, known as Long Covid syndrome, has emerged as a healthcare issue in global community. Due to the variation of symptoms, most of them are not consuming any medication but only to observe and rest. However in China, there were studies that showed Chinese medicine used to treat post COVID-19 symptoms and improve quality of life better. This article aimed to discuss the impact of Long Covid syndrome and its management from Traditional Chinese Medicine perspectives. With the success in using traditional treatments on Long Covid syndrome, more studies on traditional treatments in dealing with Long Covid-19 syndrome should be conducted to provide more holistic healthcare to the communities
Utilizing Support Vector Machines to Recognize Pattern Numbers on Sheet C1 Ballots
The election vote-counting process can be done automatically by applying machine learning technology, namely computer vision which is usually used for the pattern recognition process in images and videos. In this study, the object of pattern recognition is the C1 ballots for the 2019 simultaneous elections. The dataset used is the latest C1 format which was made by the author himself. To distinguish each number, C1 ballots will be colored to interpret a number. Then the numbers were captured using an android camera and saved in jpeg format. Furthermore, the author uses the python skimage module and GIMP for image processing and divides the dataset into 80% as training data and 20% as testing data. The model used in this study is the Support Vector Machine algorithm to classify images. The results that can be reached by this model were 100% accurate
Development of Website Service Governance at the Muhammadiyah University Palembang Using the ITIL V3 Method
The problems in implementing an integrated information technology-based service are the need for data standards, the readiness of the system in sharing data, the availability of the system, the large usage load, and the reluctance of users to take advantage of the existing website system at the University of Muhammadiyah Palembang in utilizing an integrated website system. The research will propose an ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework to review service practices in IT Service Management from an integrated service system used in tertiary institutions and use the ITIL V3 Service Design and Service Operation framework. The results of this study are in the form of service processes that must be prioritized to solve problems, as well as based on the value of service management processes that must and need to be improved

Posters thrive in education libraries or classrooms as attractive items, yet few realize the educational potential of the poster. Posters are colourful eye-catching learning media that could boost the learning atmosphere. E-Poster sessions have become common as a presentation mode for virtual conferences as well as face-to-face learning. These poster sessions comprise numerous forms of information captured in digital formats such as videos, interactive lectures, slideshows, photo albums, short games, and other elements. E-Posters could be archived to the Web, to digital sources or libraries, or to more closed collections. This paper aims to further advance the value of the e-poster as a new useful teaching instrument in the educational setting
A Conceptual Model of Nickel Content in the Bodies of Seafood Mollusks and their Gastrointestinal Absorption
There are many biomonitoring studies of nickel in the mollusks, but to understand how the nickel is accumulated in the human body and the health risk posed by the metal is not a straightforward formula. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to draw a conceptual model of nickel content in the bodies of invertebrate mollusks and their gastrointestinal absorption of nickel. This model is useful to understand how nickel accumulation in the tissues of the mollusks could affect the nickel oral ingestion pathways. This conceptual model can shed some light on the mechanisms of nickel that may cause various toxicological risks and target cancer slope formulation in the future
The Impact of Value-based Leadership on Faculty’s Intrinsic Work Motivation in China: the Mediation of Teacher Efficacy
This study tested the impact of value-based leadership on Chinese faculty’s intrinsic work motivation and examined the mediating effect of teacher efficacy in the relationship. Data was collected from a sample of 84 faculty members from different universities in China and SmartPLS was used in the data analysis. The findings indicated that value-based leadership had significantly positive impact on faculty’s intrinsic work motivation, and teacher efficacy partially mediated the relationship between value-based leadership and intrinsic work motivation. The findings can facilitate the understanding of how to increase faculty’s intrinsic work motivation at the universities in China
A BRIEF ANALYSIS OF EDUCATIONAL POLICIES IN CHINA AND PAKISTAN DURING COVID-19
The purpose of the research is to identify challenges arising from the two policies of
Technology Advancement and Online education with element of school management in the
context of a higher education institution in China and Pakistan, and to devise effective
interventions to address the issues. The study was conducted with teachers chosen from random
institutions followed by a semi-structured interview. The findings from the policy analysis of
China indicated that internet connection, insufficient ICT-literacy, lagging appropriate
pedagogical approaches are the three challenges for Technology Advancement. As for the
online education, inability to shift to a virtually managerial mode and limited technological
capabilities are the major issues in China. Whereas, in Pakistan, the occurrence of the COVID-
19 has exposed many deficiencies in policies, such as inadequate infrastructure construction,
high drop-out rate, improper allocation of educational resources, and etc. Therefore, a nationguided
network infrastructure construction, provision of ICT-literacy training, and updated
technology-based pedagogy is proposed to mitigate the challenges of the first policy; while a
well-developed framework of virtual management and related training sessions can be provided
by educational authorities to address the issue of the second policy of China. On the other hand,
based on the policy changes by Pakistani government before and during the pandemic, this
paper studies and discusses the problems and puts forward corresponding solutions in
promoting the development of online education and educational technology in Pakistan. The
purpose of this paper is to provide feasible suggestions for both countries technological
industry, relevant enterprises, and national education departments
Anti-Lift Assessment of Multi-Flap Motorcycle Winglet for Track Usage Via Wind Tunnel Test
— In motorcycle racing it is important to travel at
high speed. However, involuntary lift of the front wheel could
occur at high speed of travelling. This results in the loss of
traction, stability and control over the motorcycle. This
undesired phenomenon could be minimized by adding
downforce at the frontal section of the motorcycle. The aim of
this study was to generate supplementary downforce via the
integration of anti-lift winglet at the frontal section of the
motorcycle. This study tested on the effects given by the
variation on the numbers of multi-element flaps with respect
to anti-lift force generated. The anti-lift winglet assisted the
motorcyclist for greater control and stability during high
speed of travelling by being planted onto the ground. It was
observed that the highest downforce is generated by winglets
with the highest number of multi-element flaps. Conclusively,
the installation of the winglet on the motorcycle significantly
improves control and stability during high speed of travelling
by being planted onto the ground. For future studies, other
parameters such as the angle of attack for the winglet and the
general shape of the winglets could be examined
Analysis of the Acoustic Tile Shapes Effectiveness towards Noise Absorption
This research has utilized a combination of recycled cotton and non-phenolic resin (as
a bonding agent) for sound-absorbing tiles in a room or hall. The purpose of this acoustic tile is
to reduce the reflection of sound in other means absorbs the sound in order to create a serene
environment. In this research is used acoustic wall tiles in order to increase the sound absorption
and reduce the reflection of the sound by changing the geometry of the surface of the acoustic
wall tiles into various shapes (three types). The study was first conducted using felt of 10-mm
thickness and this shape has better absorption quality in the low-frequency range. For the second
set of studies, the same design was tested in an impedance tube with a felt thickness of 40-mm
and this set of designs showed an overall increase in the sound absorb ton coefficient. The design
that has the best sound absorption quality was the slotted absorber has it has an increment
drastically in sound absorption quality compared to the currently available design. Hence, we can
conclude that the geometry of shape will affect the sound absorption coefficient of this material
and increase the sound absorption rate
A Simulation Study of Magnesium Alloy AZ31B Behavior in High-Velocity Impact and Ballistic Limit
Magnesium Alloy are made of magnesium combined with different metal elements to improve the physical properties. The elements included were manganese, aluminium, zinc, silicon, copper, zirconium, and rare-earth metals. The magnesium density has been stated to be significantly 35% less than aluminium and significantly 77% less than steel. Many technologies nowadays required materials that are high strength but lightweight. Alloys based on magnesium are current interest to the military nation of the UnitedStates due to they are considered as the lightest structural metal alloys. There are fewer studies to observe the relationship between magnesium alloys and impact loading compared to several traditional materials, such as steel, under ballistic condition. The objective of this study to observe the behaviour and the mechanical properties of the Magnesium alloy AZ31B under ballistic impact test. The computational simulation using Ansys found based on the result obtained, the ballistic limit of the Magnesium alloy AZ31B when being impacted by 5.56 x 45 mm NATO projectile is 775 m/s whereas, when being impacted by the 7.62 x 39mm, the ballistic limit is 645 m/s. Hence, complete penetration can be seen on the specimen when it reached the ballistic limit stated
