    Redesign the Forwarding Company's Business Processes Using the Zachman Framework

    Forwarding Company is one of the companies in Indonesia that provides delivery services using trucks. To be a company that is far superior to its competitor, the company can implement Information Systems (IS) or Information Technology (IT) that is in line with the vision and mission of its business processes (both activities in the main business processes and activities in supporting business process). Enterprise Architecture Planning or EAP helps make planning for the application of IS / IT that is more mature and better so that implementing IS/IT in the company's business processes can run away and work in accordance with the company's vision and mission. To complement the design of new business processes using EAP, this study will use the Zachman framework adapted to EAP. This framework suggests a logical structure for categorizing, organizing, and describing a detailed picture of a company. Therefore, this research is expected to be able to provide input to companies that are research objectives to execute ARE/IT in conformation with business processes and its vision and mission. Later the results of this study will form a plan about new business processes, both the main and supporting activities that are in accordance with the company based on the Zachman framework

    The Comprehensive Review on Detection of Macro Nutrients Deficiency in Plants BAsed on The Image Processing Technique.

    Images are a significant source of data and information in agricultural technologies. The use of image processing techniques had important implications for the analysis of smart farm. The analytical system using digital image processing would classify the nutrient deficiency symptoms much prior than a human could identify. This will enable the farmers to adopt appropriate corrective action in time. The paper discusses various methods used in the detection of nutrient deficiencies in plants based on visual images. The image processing techniques have several stages to get the best results in nutrient deficiency detection, namely image acquisition, image enhancement, image segmentation, and feature extraction. Based on the analyses, it is proved that the image processing technology can support the development of farming automation to accomplish the advantages of low price, high efficiency, and high accuracy. Through analysis and discussion, the paper proposed a new technique in every phase of image processing for the detection of nutrient deficiency as the basis of the implementation in future research. Consequently, the research will support the growth of agricultural automation equipment and systems in more smart approaches

    Green Supply Chain Management Practices and Destination Image: Evidence from Vietnam Tourism Industry.

    Vietnam is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Asia-Pacific region and its tourism industry has been growing unprecedentedly over the past few years. However, the Vietnamese tourism industry (VTI) is concerned with the weakness competitive factor. This paper aims to analyze Green Supply Chain Management Practice (GSCM) and its effect on the destination image of Vietnam as the way to improve the completeness. The paper seeks to examine internal environment management (IEM) practices; external environment (EE) and environmental regulation (ER), as possible drivers to GSCM practices and its destination image. The empirical analysis used data from 269 questionnaires which were valid for analysis,through applying the PLS- SEM method. The result of path analysis indicates that the path between internal environmental management and GSCM practice in the VTI was highly significant; internal environmental management (IEM) had a significant impact on the external environment and also had a significant impact on destination image in VTI. The external environment has also maintained a significant impact on the GSCM practices of the VTI and on destination image in VTI. There is also a positive relationship between GSCM and destination image in VTI. As a result, it can be concluded that all hypotheses are supported. This paper concludes with a discussion of the implications of the findings from the study for tourism managers

    Latent Semantic Analysis and Cosine Similarity for Hadith Search Engine.

    Search engine technology was used to find information as needed easily, quickly and efficiently, including in searching the information about the hadith which was a second guideline of life for muslim besides the Holy Qur'an. This study was aim to build a specialized search engine to find information about a complete and eleven hadith in Indonesian language. In this research, search engines worked by using latent semantic analysis (LSA) and cosine similarity based on the keywords entered. The LSA and cosine similarity methods were used in forming structured representations of text data as well as calculating the similarity of the keyword text entered with hadith text data, so the hadith information was issued in accordance with what was searched. Based on the results of the test conducted 50 times, it indicated that the LSA and cosine similarity had a success rate in finding high hadith information with an average recall value was 87.83%, although from all information obtained level of precision hadith was found semantically not many, it was indicated by the average precision value was 36.25%

    Breakdown script is a breakdown of the scenario into parts that describe each detail of the scene for shooting. The scenario is broken down into more detailed parts using the parsing algorithm. The film script used is a script in Bahasa Indonesia. The process starts from the film script file/scenario in FBX format uploaded to the website then is solved using a parsing algorithm into film elements such as cast members, extras, props, costumes, makeup, vehicles, stunts, special effects, music and sound. The results of this breakdown into sheets according to film elements. The purpose of this research is to produce breakdown sheets from film scripts according to film elements. The parsing algorithm test results showed the correct results of 12 scenes out of 19 scenes

    Job Stress Mediates Antecedent of Job Satisfaction and Spiritual Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence

    The local hotel industry in Malaysia is undergoing a challenging time due to the competition from other hospitality service providers. Since 2015, the hotel occupancy rate shows a decline from the previous years due to more competition from Airbnb lodgings, guesthouses and homestays. In this instance, hotels try to mitigate the competition risk by offering services, facilities and amenities that has always been a trademark of the establishment. As such, keeping well-trained employees is vital in ensuring the well-being of the organization. Due to intangibility characteristics of the service industry, it is vital for organizations to understand the factors that could affect the work performance of their employees. Therefore, in subsequent to the findings of the previous researches, this study explores the relationships between four variables; spiritual intelligence, emotional intelligence, job stress and job satisfaction amongst the hotel managers in Malaysia. A total of 352 managers of 4-star and 5-star hotels in Malaysia participated in this study. Data were collected through self-administered survey questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis and multiple regression analyses were used in the data analysis. According to the empirical analytic results, Spiritual Intelligence is the most significant influence on job satisfaction. On the other hand, emotional intelligence indicated that it did not make any contribution to job satisfaction. However, regressions analyses of this study revealed that job stress mediated the relationship between spiritual intelligence and job satisfaction given that each dimensions of spiritual intelligence were found to be fully mediated by job stress. From the study, one can have a greater understanding of to what extent spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence can contribute to job stress and how job satisfaction could also be affected

    Detection of Counterfeit Telecommunication Products using Luhn Checksum Algorithm and an Adapted IMEI Authentication Method

    The problem of counterfeiting of telecommunication products is not confined only to the end products. It extends to accessories and components such as batteries, hardware, switches, adapters, USBs etc. Counterfeiting is real and it may be regarded as a social security. That is, a platform for identifying adulterated products and promoting anticounterfeit activities is very important. Though a sole and absolute protection against counterfeiting is rare, there is need for deployment of a combination of technologies which will assist to mitigate the magnitude of this phenomenon significantly. This paper presents two authentication methods for detecting counterfeit and substandard telecommunication devices/products via the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number. The first authentication method is the Luhn checksum algorithm, otherwise called Luhn formula or mod 10 algorithm. This algorithm is generally used to validate identification numbers such as IMEI, debit/credit card numbers, social security numbers, national identification numbers etc. The second method is an authentication method earlier developed for counterfeit drugs, which is here adapted to counterfeit telecommunication products via IMEI.     Development and Empowerment of Peatland Ecosystem (Analysis of the Peat Ecosystem Recovery and Development Program in the Districts of Kutai Kartanegara and East Kutai, East Kalimantan Province)

    The province of East Kalimantan has significant peatlands. Covering an area of 700,000 HA, spread across Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kutai Regency and West Kutai Regency. This valuable asset must be empowered to be efficient for the life of the surrounding ecosystem. Swamp and freshwater fish habitat that is around peatlands is a natural potential that has historically been of economic value, which is a condition to be developed on the basis of an empowerment model. The people who live around the swamp and peat have traditionally made swamps and fish their main livelihoods. It is appropriate that the empowerment of peat ecosystems is one of the targets and strategic development agenda, with the support of recommendations from the results of scientific and professional studies. Analysis of the study that began in the period April - November 2016 on the program of recovery and development of peat ecosystems, is one of the innovations to control the damage to peat ecosystems in order to provide solutions and new hopes for peat ecosystem recovery with the target of achieving sustainable prosperity. In 2019 the results of the analysis of this study have been verified and considered as a periodic monitoring and evaluation tool. Analysis of the study was conducted in a participatory manner with the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) principle. A number of analytical tools used by the process of finding data include the formation of a Peat Ecosystem Recovery and Control Work Team (TK-PPEG), preparation of a peat ecosystem-based social map, transect walk, and preparation of program options which are then packaged in the form of a Community Work Plan (RKM). The recommended forms of strategic programs include stabilizing water status on peatlands by building canal blocking and developing agricultural demonstration plots or fish cultivation. The method of collecting data and information is done through observation, interviews and focused discussion or what is commonly called a focus group discussion (FGD). The data generated from the PRA tool is then analyzed descriptively to illustrate the strategies and programs that are the solution in the efforts to restore and control the peat ecosystem. A critical note is that the management of the peatland hydrological area for agricultural and fishery commodities, must pay attention to their suitability for their utilization and use space.     A Qualitative Evaluation of the Current State of Billboard Media Advertising in Malaysia.

    Billboards have increasingly become an important element in media plans and advertising campaigns. Despite the increase of attention by advertisers, outdoor media has been “one of the least researched of any mass medium” (Katz, 2014). In Malaysia, the outdoor industry faced challenges from the lack of regulations by the local state councils and increased in illegal billboards. Guided by two theoretical frameworks – Media Richness Theory and Hierarchy of Effects Model, this doctoral research aimed to examine the current state of billboard media measurement in Malaysia, discuss and analyse the challenges, limitations, the role of billboard media and current ways billboard was being measured as an advertising medium. As previous researches have only provided various statistics of outdoor advertising in Malaysia, this research took a different perspective to deploy only qualitative methods– focus group discussion, indepth interviews and textual analysis to provide depth and understanding. Research findings revealed that there were additional challenges faced by outdoor industry stakeholders in Malaysia. The lack of regulations by the local government has led to other repercussions and irregularities among industry players, which was the main reason behind the lack of standard outdoor media measurement for billboard and other outdoor medias in Malaysia. This research also achieved an important discovery of a mix for billboard media planning in Malaysia – The OBILTA Mix. The mix consists of five variables – objective, location, budget, image and target audience which emphasized on the importance of the objective of a billboard media campaign as it placed a huge influence for media planners to plan for the location, budget, image that targets the audiences identified for the campaign. The OBILTA mix is the first for the billboard industry and also outdoor media in Malaysia
