Get PDFThe article presented below tries to analize at Hymns Joseph Wittlin’s anthems through categories of corporeality and fragmentariness. Reading of Wittlins’ chosen works makes us able to notice the necessarity of moving beyond the classical framework of the religious anthem. The article describes the problem of the separate identity of the person, who experiences the trauma of war. The Wittlins analysed prose reveals the uncovered places on the literary map, which points to the category of paradox and repetition. Hymns function on the line of the sacred and the profane.Niniejszy artykuł stanowi próbę spojrzenia na Hymny Józefa Wittlina przez kategorie cielesności i fragmentaryczności. Lektura wybranych utworów Wittlina pozwala zauważyć konieczność wyjścia poza ramy klasycznego hymnu religijnego, pokasprowiczowskiego. W artykule opisano problem osobnej tożsamości podmiotu, uwikłanego w wojenną traumę. Wobec cielesnej ekspansji – poetyckie reakcje
Get PDFThe article is devoted to selected descriptions of the body in contemporary poetry, indicating the emergence of a reflection on the possibility of the actual experience of someone else\u27s flesh in connection with the characteristic of the latest expansion of the culture of different images of human physicality. Tadeusz Różewicz\u27s and Marcin Baran\u27s poetic reflection (poets who are divided by one generation) reveals their common sense of difficulty concerning fulfillment arise from the close proximity of others. The discussed poem, in the article, by Czesław Miłosz concerns the vision of bodily rapprochement that transforms not only lovers but also the world around them. Antynomie szkolnych i pozaszkolnych lektur
Get PDFThe paper reviews the students’ attitudes towards literature present on polish language lessons. It focused on the components forming these attitudes, which come from antinomies between reading experiences in leisure time and compulsory school reading. The paper is based on the results of the study on children and young people readership, particularly the results of qualitative stage of that research: 48 IDI (Individual In-depth Interviews) with students at the end of education in primary school and lower secondary school. There are put some tips for teachers of Polish language and literature supporting them in evoking students reading motivations, specially intrinsic ones.Artykuł jest poświęcony uczniowskim postawom wobec literatury pięknej obecnej na lekcjach języka polskiego. Skupiono się na tych elementach budujących owe postawy, które wynikają z rozbieżności między doświadczeniami czytelniczymi zdobywanymi poza szkolnymi obowiązkami a czytaniem w ich ramach. Wykorzystano wyniki badania czytelnictwa dzieci i młodzieży, szczególnie posłużono się analizami wyników jakościowego etapu – 48 wywiadów indywidualnych przeprowadzonych wśród uczniów kończących naukę w szkole podstawowej i gimnazjum. W artykule są sformułowane zalecenia dla dydaktyki polonistycznej sugerujące strategie dydaktyczne sprzyjające rozbudzaniu u uczniów motywacji czytelniczych, szczególnie motywacji wewnętrznych

In the first part of the article the author discusses the aim and course of the study on the level of mastery by junior high school students their ability to create a coherent monologue, oral statements and the author presents results that indicate that the students do not succeed satisfactory in speaking out. The most difficult point for the tested students was, as it turned out, talking in a comprehensive manner and building consistent and orderly expressions. Interestingly, rhetorical aspect was made slightly better. In the second part of the article the author is trying to identify the reasons for poor control of speaking (limited to the factors of school). These include the abuse on Polish language lessons, the usage of heuristic methods, as well as the absence of tasks in textbooks for teaching Polish aiding the improvement of speaking skills.The article consists of two sections.
