Media w Rosji a wojna informacyjna. Analiza zjawiska na przykładzie programu „Wiesti o 20:00” w czasie konfliktu wojennego na wschodzie Ukrainy
Full text linkThe purpose of this paper is to discuss issues related to the use of media as a tool of information warfare: analysis of randomly selected episodes of the Russia-1 headline news show in terms of publications related to the conflict in the eastern Ukraine. Russia was selected, because of the fact that its mass media for many years have been engaged in shaping anti Ukrainian attitudes not only within their own country but also abroad. The importance of information has changed. Some time ago, it was a tool supporting the implementation of active military operations, but now it could be used as a main force, which sets the direction and determines the effects of the war. This paper attempts to answer the question of what role the Russian state television plays in conducting information warfare against Ukraine, supporting military operations in the east of the country. The object of the study was the Russian state television, namely the headline news show, summarizing the day called “Vesti at 20:00” in the period from 14 July 2014 until 14 May 2015.The purpose of this paper is to discuss issues related to the use of media as a tool of information warfare: analysis of randomly selected episodes of the Russia-1 headline news show in terms of publications related to the conflict in the eastern Ukraine. Full text linkJournalism takes a very important place in the works of Vladimir Korolenko. The writer witnessed historic changes in Russia of the late 19th — early 20th century and in his many works included a great number of valuable comments and insightful analysis of the processes taking place on the territory of the decaying Russian Empire. The last years of the writer\u27s life coincided with a period of formation of the Soviet authority, which Korolenko did not accept. This fact was often overlooked or ignored in the Soviet critical works on the writer and only after the collapse of the USSR it was possible to conduct an overall analysis of Korolenko’s rich heritage. Full text linkThe article is an attempt to present the characteristics of Russian and Polish verbs with the meaning of the excessive intensity of action in a possibly concise form. The analyzed lexical units have been retrieved from Russian and Polish dictionaries on the basis of the existing source literature and the author’s own investigations. The aim of the article is to compare the word formative structure of the verbs and analyze their semantics on the basis of the prefixes occurring in the lexical material. The quantitative and qualitative analyses have been conducted. No full textThe article attempts to allocate and analyze the most essential characteristics of plays by A. Mardan\u27s, a popular Russian-speaking Ukrainian playwright, and to inscribe his work in the context of the dynamics of the phenomenon of the new drama. The attempt of the author is to understand a complex post-Soviet reality in order to reflect it in the artistic space of the drama. The plays demonstrate the destruction of habitual human values, including moral, ethical, aesthetic, and other norms that guide people in life. At the same time, his plays exploit the techniques and elements of various genres of mass culture. One may say that certain principles have become an integral quality of Mardan\u27s plays such as the approach of the plays to the truth of life, the external everydayness, the use of elements of documentary theater and the theater of absurd, the construction of the plot with an eye for entertainment or scandalous intrigue, philosophical overtones and the author\u27s attitude to the depicted world. This indicates that his plays may be regarded as works of ‘the new drama’ that occupy a worthy place in the contemporary Russian-language drama of the post-Soviet period.The article attempts to allocate and analyze the most essential characteristics of plays by A.
