    Interdisciplinary studies on disability are conducted in the world by scholars from different disciplines and sub-disciplines, including special education. This article deals with an analysis of the evolution of the concept of disability studies and its’ implementation in anthropology that was narrowed to cultural anthropology, primarily of American roots with references to British social anthropology. The basic question, which I answer from the perspective of the cultural anthropologists, is formulated as follows: why cultural anthropology is important in the disability studies? I give answers in the context of: ontological, epistemological, rhetorical and political issues.     The article addresses the subject of social functioning of a student diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome in the environment of a mass education school, in his subjective opinion.     In the article the results of pilot studies concerning manifestation of sexuality in a group of children and youth with autism spectrum disorder were presented. The research is divided into two fundamental parts. In the first part – the shorter one, definitions and conceptions were outlined. The subject of sexuality and functioning of people with autism spectrum disorders regarding social behaviours was also discussed.     Situational educational sensitivity is one of the components of the educational sensitivity model, which is the child\u27s vulnerability to the implementation of tasks related to the role of the student. There are situational sensitivity of instrumental processes and situational educational sensitivity of directional processes. The study involved 74 children with hearing impairment in a profound and significant degree, beginning their studies in the first grade in primary school. The research was carried out in the first semester, in central Poland, in integration and special schools. The aim of the research was to determine the situational level of sensitivity of deaf pupils starting school education. The conducted research allows to determine which of the ranges are the best and the least developed, which enables orientation towards the rehabilitation and therapeutic interactions of this group of students

    Adult residents of social care homes for people with intellectual disabilities are a group of people who are rarely asked for an opinion, even about themselves. What are their plans and wishes, what do they dream about, how often do they dream and what are the characteristics of such dreams? In this article I will try to analyse the above issues using the material collected through narrative interviews and open interviews conducted in this group.Adult residents of residential homes for people with intellectual disabilities are a group of people, who are rarely asked for opinion, even i fit comes to their own case. What are they future plans and wishes, what do they dream about, how often do they do it and what is the characteristic of those thoughts. In this article I present an attempt to annalize those topics using material I colected through narrative and nondirective interviews
