Full text linkOver the last 20 years in Poland there has been a great increase in interest in witch trials of modern times. Th is paper gathers information about the most important Polish papers writt en on that subject and published between 1925 and 2016. Th e paper especially focuses on the period aft er World War II, when the subject of witch trials was researched by B. Baranowski, as well as on modern times (represented by M. Pilaszek, J. HISTORIA HISTORIOGRAFII: KSIĄŻKA TELEFONICZNA, CZY FRAGMENT SOCJOLOGII WIEDZY?
Full text linkIn this article the author argues for the rapprochement between the methods and questions of the history of historiography and the questionnaire of the sociology of knowledge. The sociological perspective can inspire both the research on the communities of professional historians and the functioning of the historiographical knowledge in social and political structures. The author analyzes diff erent dimensions of the political functions of historiography and emphasizes the diff erence between the utilitarian and scientific aspects of historical knowledge.In this article the author argues for the rapprochement between the methods and questions of the history of historiography and the questionnaire of the sociology of knowledge. KOMPARATYSTYKA NA POGRANICZU DZIEDZIN
Full text linkTh e purpose of the article is to show comparatistics as a promising perspective of current humanistic research, especially in area of extending possibilities of analysis and interpretation. In times of profesionalization and specialization of knowledge, comparative research are rarely undertaken and for that reason, it makes a cognitively and interpretatively interesting situation. Th e case analysis applies to using comparative method on the ground of history of historiography (A. Kożuchowski) and literary studies (D.
