Position und Entwicklungsdynamik des Deutschen als Fremdsprache international – im Blick der angewandten Linguistik. Position and development dynamics of German as a Foreign language international – in the view of Applied Linguistics.
This paper is concerned with a statistically firm inventory of the international status of German as a Foreign Language. While presenting numbers of learners throughout the world it also focusses geographically and in content on the cultural area of Central and Eastern Europe, in particular the so called Visegrád Group. The aim is therefore to investigate trends and tendencies in the development of German as a Foreign Language. On a meta-level it deals with language policy for German by pleading for a reinforced integration of language promotion policies in Applied Linguistics
Zum konventionell bedingten Kollokationsbegriff: das Konzept eines korpusbasierten bilingualen deutsch-polnischen Kollokationswörterbuches. On the term of convention-conditioned collocation: the conception of the corpus-based bilingual German-Polish Dictionary of Collocations.
The purpose of the article is to show how the concept of conventional syntagmas (konventionelle Syntagmen) of Ludwik Zabrocki can be developed in corpus-linguistics and lexicographical approach. The conventional syntagmas will be identified with collocations and interpreted as a corpus-linguistics, phraseological and glottodidactic phenomenon at the same time, due to their conventional character. In German-Polish contrastive approach, lexicographical and corpusbased analyses will be carried out (in NKJP, DEREKO, DWDS) on chosen collocations. The aim of the analyses is to show the necessity to create a bilingual German-Polish dictionary of collocations and the fact that corpus-linguistics has already developed the appropriate tools to excerpt collocations. Finally, it will lead to the presentation of lexicographical description of chosen collocations in the conceived bilingual German-Polish dictionary of collocations

Anthropologisch-philosophische Bedingungen der sozialen Kommunikation. Anthropologic-philosophical conditions of social communication
In the article one adopt the assume that the communication has the social dimension and is related to human being. One can define it only after the definition of human being. The question: what communication do one need? is closely connected with the results of anthropologic- philosophical researches. The homo-theories of today are much one-sided, first of all they alien the man from his natural and social environment (for instance the symbolism). We propose the definition of man plaited in the environment and we call him homo universus. Helpful is here the romantic and neoromantic philosophy, especially its theory of language and communication. In the article one adopt the assume that the communication has the social dimension and is related to human being. Zum Wesen der fremdsprachlichen Einkodierungsprozesse. On the nature of the foreign-language encoding-processes.
The following article considers the concept of the trichotomous arrangement of codeprocesses involved in acquiring foreign languages. It particularly focuses on the site, course, and results of processes whereby foreign-language structures are encoded. The processes of encoding known foreign-language structures take place: first, during the completion of consolidating exercises that aim at attaining appropriate proficiency; second, in the course of decoding and coding foreign-language information; and third, in the course of ego-centered communicative processes, in which the language user fulfills the function both of sender and of receiver
