This research aims to identify the factors behind the readiness of accounting education students as prospective teacher. This study applies the Theory of Planned Behavior. Research population consists of Undergraduate Students of Accounting Education in State University of Malang on batch 2019-2022, totaling 251 students. From those population, 155 students are chosen to use slovin technique to determine measurement of sample. To make sure the proportional representative of every batch, proportionate stratified random sampling method was applied in taking sampling. The questionnaire is used as data collecting technique which is analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling  Smart PLS 3. It was found in this study that family environtment and self-efficacy in teaching directly influence to the interest. Meanwhile, the perception of teacher profession does not significally affect to the interest. Family environtment and self-afficacy in teaching increase personal the readiness to be a teacher. Eventhough the perception of teacher profession does not influence the teaching readiness, but the readiness of teaching is influenced by interest. Interest is proven to mediate the influence of family environment on teaching readiness. In addition, interest also successfully mediate the influence of teaching self-efficacy on teaching readiness. However, interest does not play a strong enough role as an intervening variable in the relationship between perception of the teaching profession and teaching readiness. The benefit of this study is to provide input to higher education institutions as a basis for conducting more in-depth curriculum evaluations

    Get PDF
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the global economy but face challenges in effectively leveraging artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital marketing. This study aims to analyze the effects of automation, personalization (PER), and advertising efficiency (EFF) on marketing performance (MP) and their implications for MSME revenue (REV). Data were collected through a cross-sectional survey of 95 MSMEs in North Sumatra that have adopted AI-based digital promotions. The questionnaire consisted of 25 indicators covering five constructs: AUT (5 items), PER (5 items), EFF (5 items), MP (5 items), and REV (5 items). The analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS. The results indicate that AUT (p = 0.000), PER (p = 0.011), and EFF (p = 0.000) significantly influence MP but do not have a direct effect on REV (p > 0.05). In contrast, MP (p = 0.000) serves as a key mediator, channeling the benefits of AI-based strategies into revenue growth. The research model explains 51% of the variance in Marketing Performance and 29.8% of the variance in Revenue. These findings underscore that the impact of AI on MSME revenue is indirect, occurring through enhanced marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and promotional innovation. The implications suggest that strengthening digital capabilities, visionary leadership, and adequate technological infrastructure are prerequisites for MSMEs to fully exploit AI potential. Therefore, an integrated AI-based marketing strategy can enhance both competitiveness and financial performance of MSMEs in the digital era

    Get PDF
"Pluang" is a mobile investment innovation product featuring various assets such as gold, stocks, cryptocurrency, mutual funds, and indices. Initially introduced to the public in 2019, its adoption saw significant growth over the first three years. However, concerns emerged as user growth slowed down and complaints escalated due to perceived burdensome product innovations. Consequently, ensuring sustained adoption across diverse user groups necessitates immediate implementation of enhanced management strategies. This study aims to identify influential factors in adopting "Pluang," including reputation, self-efficacy, usage behavior, innovation, attitude toward use, intention to use, and ease of use using the Modified Technology Acceptance Model (M-TAM). Purposive sampling gathered responses from at least 200 users considering twice the minimum data required for variable interactions and anticipating data errors during processing. Analyzed via PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square - Structured Equation Modeling), the study revealed six significant correlations among nine hypotheses—particularly involving reputation, innovation, self-efficacy—and user attitudes toward use. These findings stress the importance of boosting application reputation, promoting continuous innovation, and optimizing training/promotional campaigns for better conversion of positive attitudes into strong usage intention

Human trafficking remains a critical issue in Southeast Asia, exacerbated by socio-political, economic, and cultural factors. This paper examines the concept of justice, advocating for enhanced international cooperation to effectively combat human trafficking in the region. It identifies the limitations of current national-level approaches, which fail to address the transnational nature of trafficking networks. The paper highlights significant normative and legal gaps, such as inconsistent definitions of trafficking, lack of harmonized laws, and weak enforcement mechanisms, which undermine anti-trafficking efforts. Drawing on international law and human rights frameworks, the paper argues for a more coordinated approach among Southeast Asian nations, international organizations, and civil society. Central to this approach is legal harmonization, improved intelligence sharing, and stronger enforcement to combat trafficking.
