Needs Analysis And Design Of Gamification-Based Learning Management System Edukati To Support Flipped Classroom Of Cell Material
The development of digital technology in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 towards society 5.0 demands biology learning that is more interactive, contextual, and relevant to the characteristics of 21st-century learners. However, high school biology teachers still face the challenge of low student understanding of abstract cell concepts, such as organelle structure-function relationships and cell division mechanisms. This material is often understood as rote, while learning media have not fully supported visualization or interactivity. The integration of the flipped classroom model with a gamification-based Learning Management System (LMS) is seen as a potential solution. This research aims to analyze the learning needs of cell concepts in high school and design a gamification-based LMS that is in accordance with the flipped classroom model. This study used an exploratory descriptive approach at the needs analysis stage involving 42 students of class XI MIPA and a biology teacher, which was then positioned as part of the planning stage in the Alessi & Trollip development model (RnD). The results of the needs analysis were then used as the basis for designing the initial design of the gamification-based LMS (design stage). The results of student needs show three aspects, namely the level of understanding of cell concepts is in the medium category (74.5%), while technology readiness (78.5%) and interest in flipped classroom (79.25%) are in the high category. Based on the needs analysis, the learning media were designed using Moodle “Edukati” LMS with gamification elements in the form of points, leaderboards, and multilevel challenges. The Understanding by Design (UbD) principle was used as a reference in formulating the integration of objectives, assessments, and learning activities. The results showed that the initial design of the gamification-based LMS has the potential to support the implementation of flipped classroom learning on cell material and is worth testing in the further development stage.
In Silico Study: Andrographolide Compounds and Their Derivatives as Antimalarials Targeted at PfENR
Malaria is an infectious disease that poses a significant danger due to its potential to cause severe anemia. The malaria parasite comes from the genus Plasmodium, which can attack erythrocytes. In recent years, good target proteins have been discovered as antimalarials. The target protein is taken from the type II fatty acid biosynthesis pathway, the fatty acid specific to Plasmodium falciparum is Enoyl Acyl Carrier Protein Reductase (PfENR). This study aims to evaluate the antimalarial activity of the Andrographolide compound which targets PfENR using in silico as an alternative for developing new drugs. Evaluation of the Andrographolide compound was carried out in silico with Autodock Tools and Biovia Discovery Studio Visualizer, then compared between the native ligand and the target compound, and the compound with the best interaction was determined so that it could provide a maximum therapeutic effect on the target compound. This research shows that the Andrographiside compound has a lower binding affinity, compared to native ligan is -5.94 kkal/mol and other compounds, namely -8.21 kkal/mol, so it has better bonding affinity, and the bond is reversible, making it suitable for developing new drugs. However, the Andrographiside compound still requires further molecular modifications to comply with Lipinski\u27s rules
Design and Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Kacang “Disco” Production in Small-Scale Food Industry of Makassar, Indonesia
This study aimed to design and implement a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to improve the production process of Kacang Disco, a traditional coated peanut snack produced by small-scale food enterprises in Makassar, Indonesia. The absence of process standardization has led to inconsistent product quality and low production efficiency among micro and small enterprises. A participatory field-based approach was employed, involving observation, focus group discussions, SOP drafting, validation, and pilot testing in an active production setting. The finalized SOP standardized eight critical stages of production, including raw material preparation, mixing, coating, frying, draining, cooling, sorting, and packaging, with defined parameters for temperature, time, and hygiene control. Implementation of the SOP resulted in measurable improvements in product uniformity, color, and texture, supported by sensory evaluation results showing higher panelist scores for appearance, texture, and taste. The new process also enhanced production efficiency by reducing oil use and material waste. Supporting factors included easy access to raw materials and simple technology, whereas limited worker skills and lack of continuous training were the main constraints. The findings confirm that structured process documentation enhances quality assurance and productivity in traditional food manufacturing and can serve as a replicable model for small-scale food industries seeking sustainable process improvemen

Financial Development and Poverty Reduction in Indonesia: An Empirical Investigation
Poverty in Indonesia has decreased but still presents many challenges in achieving significant reduction targets. The main objective of this study is to estimate the effect of financial sector development on poverty in Indonesia. The dependent variable was household final consumption expenditure as a proxy for poverty, while the independent variables were broad money and gross savings. The study used time series data and applied the ARDL-ECM (Autoregressive Distributed Lag–Error Correction Model) method for 1981–2022. The main finding was that broad money did not significantly affect poverty reduction. Gross savings were significant with a negative coefficient; higher savings were associated with higher poverty rates due to decreased consumption. Furthermore, the stability of the research model was tested using normality, serial correlation, heteroscedasticity, cumulative sum (CUSUM), and cumulative sum of squares (CUSUMQ) tests. The financial sector can reduce poverty through efficient financial services for the poor, microeconomic empowerment, and increased financial inclusion. In the future, the government must promote a conducive and competitive financial sector to support poverty alleviation program
