    Get PDF
Electrical energy is essential in modern society, and with the growing demand, all available energy resources are being utilized to meet this need. Insufficient planning and calculation in energy provision can affect the stability of electricity generated by power plants, especially in low-voltage microsystems directly connected to loads. This study investigates the behavior of synchronous microgenerators and photovoltaic systems, focusing on the rotor angle of the generator. Changes in the photovoltaic contribution can cause shifts in the generator\u27s rotor angle, necessitating an analysis of these shifts. An experimental method was used to measure and analyze the power distribution by recording current and voltage in a micro synchronous generator and a grid-tie inverter under a 300-watt linear load. The results show that the generator’s rotor angle remains stable and the grid-tie inverter remains synchronized, with an average angle of 40.2° at a photovoltaic contribution of 32.26% and a synchronous microgenerator contribution of 67.74%. However, when the photovoltaic supply exceeds 37.00%, the rotor angle shifts further, leading to a loss of synchronization in the grid-tie inverter. Additionally, irradiance was found to have a linear effect on photovoltaic distribution. The findings of this study contribute to a better understanding of rotor angle behavior and grid synchronization, providing insights for the development of more reliable and efficient renewable energy systems that maintain electrical stability in low-voltage applications

    Get PDF
This study examines the relationship between Patient Satisfaction with Diabetes Treatment and Hospital Reputation, with Patient Empowerment and Well-being acting as mediators. Additionally, this study includes Lifestyle as the moderating component. This quantitative, cross-sectional study employs a survey methodology using a structured questionnaire of respondents selected by quota sampling. A total of 160 respondents were obtained from two private hospitals. Data was analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Diabetes Treatment Satisfaction is assessed as a higher-order construct (HOC) consisting of dimensions of Patient Empowerment as a lower-order construct (LOC). The three LOCs are Patient Control, Patient Participation, and Patient Support. This study employs a disjoint two-step methodology. The research findings indicate a strong and positive relationship between Diabetes Treatment Satisfaction and Hospital Reputation mediated by Patient Empowerment and Patient well-being. The indirect effect is statistically significant (p-value < 0.05, CI 95%). The analysis also reveals a strong relation between Patient Well Being and Hospital Reputation (β=0.842, f2=2.427). However, the Lifestyle variable did not substantially relate to the relationship between Diabetes Treatment Satisfaction and Patient well-being. This study model has been empirically validated to provide sufficient explanatory and predictive capacities for assessing hospital reputation

Based on data from the Indonesian National Commission on Violence Against Women (INCVAW/Komnas Perempuan) from 2007 to 2019, there was a very significant increase in cases of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), reaching eightfold (792%). The majority of GBV victims are women, but men can also be potential victims. However, most research on GBV focuses only on women. Gender-based violence has short-term and long-term impacts on physical and mental health. Female victims of GBV usually experience anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and even suicidal thoughts. This study aims to provide an overview of GBV that occurs in both men and women. This study is based on data on reported cases of violence obtained from the Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Service (WECPS/DP3A) of Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, for the period 2020-2024. Of the 1,001 reported GBV cases, 817 (81.6%) victims were women and 184 (18.4%) were men. The majority of female victims of GBV are of reproductive age (19-44 years), while the majority of male victims are adolescents (11-18 years). There is a significant relationship between gender, location of the incident, and the type of violence experienced. Currently, both men and women experience violence in the public sphere (50.5% and 53.2%, respectively). Psychological violence is the most common experience for both sexes. Men mostly experience neglect, exploitation, and other forms of violence. Meanwhile, women mostly experience physical, sexual, and human trafficking violence. Innovation in reporting forms that are easily accessible to the public is also needed to facilitate victims seeking help
