Underweight is when a child\u27s weight is below the average range for their age group. The prevalence of underweight toddlers in Indonesia in 2023 reached 12.9%. Underweight is directly caused by food intake. This study aims to determine the relationship between macronutrient intake and the incidence of underweight in toddlers at Posyandu Bangun Sari Indah 6. This research method uses a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study consisted of toddlers aged> 6-59 months, with a total of 135 toddlers. The technique for selecting research subjects used a purposive sample of 48 toddlers. Data collection of food intake used a 2x24-hour food recall form, and underweight data used anthropometric measurements of BB/U. The data analysis technique was descriptive, using the Spearman rank correlation test and the logistic regression test. The results showed a relationship between energy intake (p = 0.003), carbohydrate intake (p = 0.004), protein intake (p = 0.005), and fat intake (p = 0.025) with the incidence of underweight in toddlers. The logistic regression test analysis showed that energy, carbohydrate, protein, and fat intake were not significantly related to the incidence of underweight

Avocado Rootstock Propagation Techniques to Support The Readiness of Ngesrepbalong Village, Limbangan Kendal as An Avocado Center

    Get PDF
Ngesrepbalong Village in Limbangan District, Kendal, is known to be prone to landslides. Landslide mitigation through planting deep-rooted trees. This village was classified as a developing village until the end of 2023. Efforts to realize Ngesrepbalong as an avocado center required intensifying superior avocado cultivation, which involved mass availability of seeds. The problem was that the rootstock in avocado grafting was limited because one avocado only produced one seed. The production problems of the target partners of "Gunung Berkah" were overcome through socialization, training, implementation, assistance, monitoring and evaluation, and ensuring its sustainability by splitting avocado seeds/embryos into at least 2 or more. The community service activities showed that 100% of seed splitting results succeeded in growing into standard rootstock, which then became 150 superior avocado seedlings through grafting. The difference in rootstock was only in its height. For the efficiency of rootstock propagation for the Gunung Berkah group in the future, it is recommended that seed/embryo splitting be combined with the treatment of cutting the bottom of the avocado seed, giving growth hormones, and using the right planting media. The availability of avocado rootstock accelerated the availability of seeds for the intensification of superior avocado cultivation towards the realization of Ngesrepbalong as a superior avocado center

    Get PDF
The Indonesian government has recognized the importance of entrepreneurship in supporting the country\u27s economy. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have become the backbone of national economic growth, with women playing a vital role in this sector. Despite their contribution, women entrepreneurs face various challenges that hinder their business development, such as limited access to capital, gender-based discrimination, legal and administrative barriers, and a lack of institutional support. These obstacles are rooted in social norms and an insufficiently responsive legal framework. This article explores how legal advocacy and institutional support can empower women MSME entrepreneurs. It argues for a more inclusive legal policy environment, examines the role of legal services such as legal aid and consultation, and discusses successful case studies of advocacy organizations helping women overcome systemic barriers. Furthermore, this paper provides practical recommendations for improving legal access and advocates for stronger collaboration between governments, legal institutions, and global advocacy networks. Through a gender-sensitive legal approach, optimizing women’s roles in MSMEs can contribute to inclusive economic growth and strengthened gender equality

    Get PDF
The phenomenon of low legal awareness remains a common characteristic of society in Indonesia, particularly in the province of West Kalimantan. This demonstrates the need for new innovations in legal education methods that are relevant to the current digital era. This study aims to conceptualize a web-based legal education model through the development of the SAHABAT (Sobat Hukum Kalimantan Barat) application as a responsive and inclusive digital medium to improve public legal literacy. The research method used a socio-legal approach with a qualitative descriptive method, involving literature studies, in-depth interviews, and field observations on the need for access to legal information. The data used in this study was primary data obtained directly from legal educators at the West Kalimantan Provincial Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The results of the study show that the community needs an outreach platform that is easily accessible, interactive, and contextual to legal issues. The SAHABAT application is designed to provide popular legal information, online consultations, and topic-based legal education through interactive features. This study confirms that digitizing legal counseling through platforms such as SAHABAT can be a means of helping to increase legal awareness and community participation in realizing a responsive legal culture. This study recommends the integration of the SAHABAT application into the national legal counseling strategy as part of the digital transformation of public services in the legal field

Legal Certainty on the Implementation of Post Mining Land Reclamation of Unlicensed Coal Mining as an Effort to Preserve the Environment in Indonesia

    Get PDF
Indonesia, as a country with potential natural resources such as coal, faces major challenges in tackling the negative impacts of unlicensed coal mining, including weak post-mining land reclamation. This research aims to examine government policies to overcome the problem of reclamation of unlicensed coal mines in Indonesia. The research method used qualitative research with a focus on analyzing regulations and cases of unlicensed coal mining. The results show that various government policies related to mine reclamation are regulated in laws and regulations. Still, the reclamation of unlicensed mines or illegal mines is not clearly regulated. However, it can be prosecuted as corruption crimes because it is considered detrimental to the state or becomes the responsibility of the government if the perpetrator is unknown; this adds to the problem of carrying out reclamation considering the large number of coal mining pits so that the government is difficult to carry out reclamation. Not only that, law enforcement against the implementation of unlicensed mining is still not optimal; existing regulations emphasize criminal sanctions and fines more than reclamation responsibilities. These findings indicate the need for government policies in the coal mining sector that emphasize legal certainty regarding the responsibility of coal mining actors who do not have permits or the government’s responsibility in carrying out reclamation needs to be strengthened by adding policies for reclamation of unlicensed mining land and more effective supervision and application of sanctions that emphasize reclamation responsibilities in order to achieve the goal of environmental sustainability
