The article searches for the sources of guilt. It evokes Nietzsche’s notion of guilt as a derivative of unpaid mercantile debts. In opposition to this is Bouber’s socio-divine origin of fault. J. Tischner and J. Hołówka are also cited; they ascribe to guilt objective status. There is an important distinction between guilt and reconciliation, as well as a description of the possible contamination by guilt. The article also deals with Jasper\u27s call to accept one’s own fault, otherwise there is a risk of trivialisation of life. The source of fault lies in relations between people and in the "point of holiness" mentioned by M. Blondel.The article searches for the sources of guilt. Józefa Tischnera myślenie według czy przeciw wartościom?
The article reconstructs a certain element of the evolution in Józef Tischner’s thinking. Initially representing orthodox phenomenology, Tischner situated his philosophy in exiological paradigm seeing in values the most fundamental reality and the main object of philosophical research. Later, thanks to agathological dimensions he put aside the language of values and sometimes doubted adequacy of values as philosophical category. Tischner revealed courage when he was able to radically revise his former views according to the principle: amicus Plato, magis tamen amica veritas.The article reconstructs a certain element of the evolution in Józef Tischner’s thinking. The analyses included in this article are meant to oppose two semantic dichotomies included in the title. Interests and values in the light of the article stay in a certain continuum and strict connection. Utility is axiological and instrumental structure of civilization but it develops owing to the capacity to live and realize values, especially absolute ones. They are included in the idea of human dignity and defined in religions. Public discourse as a language-game often deforms axiological intuitions of values and attempts to arrange and systematize them. Hypothetically it results from the mentioned dichotomy generating juxtaposition of the order of interests and utility with the order of values and dignity. Niepewność - zasadnicza kategoria etyczno-antropologiczna w refleksji Zygmunta Baumana.
The article centers around Bauman’s category of uncertainty and presents its ethical and anthropological contexts. The author also makes an attempt to set human drama in onthological sphere. Post-modern man is deprived of solid moral indicators and has constant doubts about the rightness of his choices. Ethical-anthropological uncertainty is a sign of onthological instability and it seems to be the consequence of absurd and irrationality immanent to Bauman’s structure of being. Aksjologia Rene Le Senne\u27a a aksjologia Józefa Tischnera.
The article deals with the philosophy of Le Senne in which man is determined by character and by values. The self results from relation to values. Cognition of God does not create conceptual metaphysics, but it is human act directed to the value. The author claims that Le Senne’s metaphysic is the axiology but without the hierarchy of values and criteria. The source of value is God who is not summum esse but Value. For Le Senne value and not being is a priority. That is the one of many similarities to Tischner’s philosophy.The article deals with the philosophy of Le Senne in which man is determined by character and by values.
