Tierra, propiedad y conflicto: una lectura crítica de la producción historiográfica sobre la Segunda República española
No full textThis writing seeks to analyze, from a critical perspective, the manner in which historiography has dealt with the issue of land property and the conflicts generated around this within the context of structural changes at a social and state level, taking into account the specific case of the Second Spanish Republic. This is carried out, considering the theoretical as well as the cognitive appreciation with which historians approach this subject, which lead them to assume binary and evolutionist explanatory patterns. Secondly, the empirical issues of these patterns are analyzed, recommending elementary principles for a possible improvement.Este escrito analiza, desde un punto de vista crítico, el modo en que la historiografía ha tratado el tema de la propiedad de la tierra y los conflictos que se generan en torno a él en el contexto de los cambios estructurales a nivel social y estatal durante la Segunda República española. Esto lo hacemos considerando los presupuestos tanto teóricos como cognitivos con los que los historiadores tratan esta temática, que los llevan a asumir modelos explicativos binarios y evolucionistas. Asimismo, se analizan las problemáticas empíricas de estos modelos, proponiendo principios básicos para su posible superación

To follow its movement, the following stations are covered: (1) “sketch” as art of contingency and as “afformative” writing event; (2) the political trait of his gesture, exposed in the debates on democracy to come and the university; (3) his definition of the contingent as “touch of a No” and the structure of (dis)encounter; (4) his reading of Celan and the notion of nihil donans; (5) the “infra-contingency” of the opportunities; (6) the dignity of the contingent and the danger of essentializing it; (7) the contingency of a time to come, in the light of its “affuturation” and the “ammesianic”.El artículo propone una aproximación al problema de la contingencia en Werner Hamacher. Para seguir su movimiento, se recorrerán las siguientes estaciones: (1) el “esquicio” como arte de la contingencia y evento afformativo de escritura; (2) el carácter político de su gesto, expuesto en los debates sobre democracia por venir y la universidad; (3) su definición de lo contingente como tacto de un No y la estructura del (des)encuentro; (4) su lectura de Celan y la noción de nihil donans; (5) lo infra-contingente de las oportunidades; (6) la dignidad de lo contingente y el peligro de esencializarlo; (7) la contingencia del tiempo por venir a contraluz de los conceptos de affuturación y lo ammesiánico

Get PDFThe following paper is a reading of Obra Completa by Ximena Rivera. The reading will reflect upon what it means to be tangled in the modulations that her writing oozes, its solitary fondness, away from a diction of belonging that expresses as a being-with (mitsein), which differs from itself and the longing of identity that disturbs her and writes this imbalance. The altered being in Ximena Rivera’s poetry shivers, it’s a critic of its own trade, carrying a lucid intensity sustained by its fragility and by an emphatic to be who one is. It’s the I, as words, who dialogues with her (im)potency and dissents with herself. Her resistance is not to resist. This uncanniness and disagreement of the space she inhabits is inscribed in her flesh and in her writing. There is a sense of not being something anymore, so as to be tangled in modulations, in the unpowerness of thinking, in defenselessness, in the memory that goes astray, in the blood that forgets the blood and sets aside. Subjectivity is disturbed, it dissolves, and that unpower, that impotency of not being able to think, is poetized.Este artículo es una lectura de la Obra completa de Ximena Rivera, en que se reflexiona acerca del ser entre modulaciones que exuda su escritura, su afición solitaria, lejos de la dicción de la pertenencia, que manifiesta un ser-con, que difiere de sí mismo, del deseo de identidad que la incomoda y que escribe desde ese desajuste. El sujeto alterado en la poesía de Rivera se estremece y es crítico con su oficio, que graba una intensidad lúcida, sostenida en su fragilidad y en un enfático ser quien es. Es un yo, como su palabra, que dialoga con su (im)potencia y en disenso consigo misma. Su resistencia es ya no resistir. Esta extrañeza con el espacio que habita se inscribe en su carne y en su escritura. Se deja de ser algo, para ser entre modulaciones, en el impoder mismo de pensar, en la indefensión, en la memoria que extravía, en la sangre que olvida la sangre y aparta. Get PDFThis article discusses the novel Todas esas muertes (1971), by Carlos Droguett, addressing its representation of the problem of individual revolutionary action as a fantasy, focusing on the character Emilio Dubois. We state that the criminal character is constructed on the basis of a structuring fantasy that stages subversion, while reproducing, at the same time, key aspects of the dominant ideology, such as the bourgeois-patriarchal scheme which Dubois replicates in his relation to others, deemed inferior. The main goal of this essay is to interpret the fantasy in which is constructed the image of the killer as a social avenger, a saint of murder, understood as a mechanism of symbolization, that veils the presence of dominant ideology in the actions of the very same character.Este artículo se aproxima a la novela Todas esas muertes (1971) de Carlos Droguett, desde el problema de la fantasía revolucionaria individual a partir del análisis del personaje Emilio Dubois. El personaje criminal se construye sobre una fantasía estructurante que escenifica subversión, pero que al mismo tiempo reproduce ciertos parámetros de la ideología dominante como las estructuras burguesas-patriarcales que Dubois replica con quienes considera sujetos inferiores. El objetivo principal es comprender la construcción del asesino justiciero como santo del asesinato, según la descripción de la fantasía como mecanismo de simbolización que vela la presencia de la ideología dominante en las acciones del propio personaje

Get PDFWe propose that act and gesture relate Jacques Lacan’s and Werner Hamacher’s thought. By exposing a particular practical dimension of language, both terms allow the articulation of psychoanalytical praxis, understanding and literature, as these authors understand them. That is to say, founded on a mistake or a failure. For Hamacher, the failure of epistemological intentions about language, as is what affirms its event dimension: language’s distance from itself, which is the unthinkable background of understanding. Literature, as a gesture in language, takes up and at the same time exposes this failure, by discovering and keeping language open in the caesura of its foundation. Lacan, for his part, will argue that the act is never as successful as when it is failed. If, from there, the psychoanalytic praxis finds the place that corresponds to it, it is because it rejects, as a condition, to relocate its subject under the protection of the forms of knowledge. Failure by itself achieve anything. It only exposes the significant dimension of mistake, implied in the function and concept of the unconscious. In the structure of mistake, the act will find the hiancia of the law that establishes and determines it, by illuminating the inaugural division of the subject.Proponemos que acto y gesto relacionan el pensamiento de Jacques Lacan y Werner Hamacher. Al exponer una particular dimensión práctica del lenguaje, ambos términos permiten articular la praxis psicoanalítica, el comprender y la literatura, tal como estos autores los entienden. Es decir, fundadas en una falla o un fracaso. Para Hamacher, el fracaso de las intenciones epistemológicas sobre la lengua es lo que afirma su dimensión de acontecimiento. Lejanía de sí de la lengua, que es el trasfondo impensable del comprender. La literatura, como gesto en la lengua, retoma y a la vez expone ese fracaso, al descubrir y mantener abierta la lengua en la cesura de su fundamento. Lacan, por su parte, sostendrá que al acto nunca es tan logrado como cuando es fallido. Si a partir de allí, la praxis psicoanalítica encuentra el lugar que le corresponde es porque rechaza, como condición, reubicar a su sujeto al amparo de las formas del conocimiento. La falla por sí misma no logra nada. Solo expone la dimensión significante de la equivocación, implicada en la función y el concepto del inconsciente. En la estructura de la equivocación, el acto encontrará la hiancia de la ley que lo instaura y determina, al iluminar la apertura inaugural de la división del sujeto.

Get PDFThis paper analyzes four recent Latin American science fiction novels: three from Argentina (Plop by Rafael Pinedo, Un futuro radiante by Pablo Plotkin, Los cuerpos del verano by Martín Castagnet) and one from Chile (Synco by Jorge Baradit), in order to investigate the possibilities attributed to technology in terms of the social imaginary. Through the analysis, different options are outlined, ranging from the absolute absence of apparatus and progress in this area, to the great achievement of allowing the “soul” to reincarnate in new bodies. Despite this advance, in most of the stories the vision is negative and what is configured is a technophobic image which makes visible, in the best case, its indissoluble link with capitalism, and, at worst, of its potential to destroy the world.En este artículo se analizan cuatro novelas de ciencia ficción latinoamericana recientes, tres argentinas y una chilena (Plop de Rafael Pinedo, Un futuro radiante de Pablo Plotkin, Los cuerpos del verano de Martín Castagnet y Synco de Jorge Baradit), con el fin de pesquisar cuáles son las posibilidades atribuidas a la tecnología en términos de imaginario social. A través del análisis se perfilan distintas opciones que van desde la inexistencia absoluta de aparatos y progresos en este ámbito, hasta el gran logro de permitir que el “alma” se reencarne en nuevos cuerpos. No obstante este avance, en la mayoría de los relatos la visión es negativa y lo que se configura es una imagen tecnofóbica que da cuenta, en el mejor de los casos, de su vínculo indisoluble con el capitalismo, y, en el peor, de sus potencial para destruir el mundo
