Caustic L aughter or R esistance L aughter? The Politicisation of Laughing in Le mécano du vendredi of Fellag

    No full text
Fellag fait manifestement de la moquerie un véritable jeu de contestations diverses.“There is consent in a smile, while a laugh is often a refusal”, said Victor Hugo in his book The Man Who Laughs. One point of view shared between him and Fellag, who has always used laughter to express his protest. Through theatre or through his multiple writings, Fellag titillate the feelings of his young Algerians Audience, with his derisively daring humor, leading them into a kind of retrospective meditation about notions of life and the future in Algeria. And it's in this funny atmosphere, certainly, but ambiguous, doubtfully hilarious, that he delivers us the story of Youcef's daily life: A thirty-eight years old Algerian, wading into 1988's Alger, an academic, nevertheless deprived of situation. In technical unemployment, he considers himself as “a retired”, since for two years now, state television has exempted him from his duties as a director, while ensuring that his salary is regular.A sarcastic narration punctuated by implicit criticism, Fellag is obviously making mockery a real game of divers contestations

In this article we try to accentuate our work on the school through the manual, as the cognitive reference for the student as well as for the teacher. The educational enclosure will be according to the quality of this pedagogical support in its conceptual and didactic dimension. We try to focus on the conflict of political, economic, social interests and their influence on the school manual giving a vision to conceive it aiming to prepare the right citizen.Consequently, the learner will fall victim to the problem of insecurity. The latter generates a blockage in the transposition of knowledge. Both the teacher and the learner, having a poor representation of the target language, refuse any possible appropriation. It is obvious that the foreign language is supposed to be the window that tries to harmonize the exotic and the chimerical in the mind in a climate of mutual consideration and in a context of mutual valorization with always a happy entry that does not contradict itself with the parent culture

This study provides an idea of the Qur'anic text transcending the idea of normative in Arabic grammar by identifying the concept of standardism and its causes, and the applicability of the term curriculum to it, and then showing its implications in the Arabic way, by showing the results of the standard that caused the rigidity of the grammar lesson and the closure of the door (renewal), and the tyranny of limits, conventions and logical tendencies on it. Characteristics of pragmatic thinking in Arabic rhetoric

    Get PDF
If pragmatics is the science of the use of language and is concerned with both the speaker and the interlocutor, the circumstances of communication, then Arabic rhetoric was not far from this concept. It is the science that studies the conversational relationship between the speaker and the addressee. Some of them even believed that Arabic rhetoric is pragmatic in its essence. And if pragmatics is the science of the use of language ,rhetoric is knowing the language while using it .It is the art of telling, therefore the discourse of rhetoricians can be said to be about issues such as position, context, goals, info and structure, and parties to the conversation...In fact, it is a pragmatic research that confirms that Arab rhetoricians practiced the pragmatic approach before it spread as a Western approach. In this sense, what we are looking for through this research dissertation is an attempt to read and approach Arabic rhetorical research from the point of view of pragmatic linguistics, after having raised the following problems and tried to answer them: What is the concept of both rhetoric and pragmatics?Where is the pragmatic thinking reflected in Arab rhetoric ? Can Arab rhetoric be considered pragmatic ?What are the most important pragmatic themes found in Arab rhetorical research? Is it possible to develop the efforts of ancient Arabic rhetoricians to establish a pragmatic Arabic linguistic theory
