Evaluation of Petroleum and Geological Engineering ESP Course from Students’ View points at Ouargla University in Algeria
The pressing problems encountered in teaching English for Specific Purposes (henceforth, ESP) at the University of Ouargla and particularly in the Faculty of Hydrocarbons, Renewable Energies, Earth and Universe Sciences (FHREEUS) are the misapprehension of the ESP term and the misapplication of the ESP course. The researcher attempts to identify students’ language purposes, their lack and preferences concerning English language courses. In an increasingly challenging context, it is necessary to assess the current ESP courses in order to identify and understand the degree to which they are useful to petroleum and geological engineering graduates and meet their ever-changing needs. Based on the conviction that students’ needs are of crucial importance in the evaluation of the ESP course, we asked 93 students at FHREEUS, at the University of Ouargla, to express their perceptions and suggestions as to how they prefer learning English language. In practice, the appropriate tools to evaluate ESP courses are questionnaires, interviews, experimental results, etc. Thus, a descriptive evaluative method that involves a data-gathering questionnaire was implemented to make a set of practical inferences to the research hypothesis. The results revealed that a vast majority of students responded negatively to the effectiveness of the ESP courses in terms of reflecting their English language needs. The study clearly indicated the requirement and pressing need of ESP course based on students’ wants and expectations

The demographic determinants of infant mortality in the Algeria's southern territory through the data of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS6) Achieved in 2018-2019
This study aims to understand the relationship between infant mortality(0-365 days) and a set of explanatory variables for this phenomenon, and it focused on highlighting the demographic determinants affecting infant mortality rates at the level of the southern territory in Algeria, through a descriptive and analytical study of the relationship between Infant mortality and the most important variables represented in the nature, gender and rank of the newborn, in addition to the woman’s age and the interval between birth, based on the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS6) database completed during the year 2018-2019 and by applying the binary logistic regression method to determine the impact of determinants. The study demonstrated the possibility of including the rank of the newborn and the age of the mother as a determinant that explains the phenomenon of infant mortality, as there is a direct relationship between infant mortality and the rank of the newborn and an inverse relationship between the infant mortality rate and the age of the woman at birth, and the risk index was determined by a decrease in the age of the woman at birth and elevation of the newborn's ran
The approach of Imam Elmakili in preaching and reform
Imam Elmakili grew up in the capital of Tlemcen during the 15th and 16th century. He dedicated his life for knowledge, preaching, and reforms; he contributed to the spread of the Islamic culture and worked hard to reform the religious, social and political conditions of Muslims. Then he moved to the Sahara because of the political disturbances and the domination of the Jews over the area. He settled in the region of Touate where he headed a reform movement that aimed to adjust and protect the laws of "Sharia" in this region and preserve the Islamic personality of the people of Touate. He also headed a djihadi movement against the Jews and he was able to drive them out because they violated the convention between them and the Muslims of the area. Later, he moved to the west of Sudan to spread his principles and ideas on the basis of the right Islam and his concepts of the Islamic state. Historical and Legal Foundations of Occupational Health and Safety System Internationally and Locally in Algeria
This research paper aims to address the historical and legal development of the occupational health and safety system at the international level, including the laws, protocols, and procedures that have been established during different periods of study. It also examines the lawsand decrees enacted by the Algerian government since independence to the present day. This idea developed over time for employers, and as technology advanced, so did its cost, as evidenced in the recent International Standard ISO 45001. Evaluation of the importance of capital adequacy standard in Islamic banks in the light of the principle of risk sharing for investment deposits
The capital adequacy standard is the fundamental pillar of the Basel agreements in prudential banking supervision. It is a standard based on the capital adequacy of commercial banks to withstand various risks faced by their assets. This is built on the guarantee base provided by the traditional banking system for deposits. On the other hand, Islamic banking emerged based on the principle of risk-sharing in both assets and liabilities. This is clearly manifested in investment deposits, which represent capita directed towards investment, where depositors bear the consequences of investment results, whether losses or profits. These deposits are not transformed into capital according to the principles of Mudarabah contract. The aim of the research is to analyze the financial solvency of Islamic banks and compare their requirements with the capital adequacy standard in order to assess its practical importance for Islamic banks

Seeds of Madness, Harvest of Delirium Les 1001 années de la nostalgie by Rachid Boudjedra
In wanting to identify the nuances of madness and the expressions designating it, we come up against a vast semantic and conceptual area, articulated on limbo of shadows and uncertainties. The most significant, the most obvious words, those carrying deep meanings and hopes of redemption, if not of conquest, end up distorted by so many profane uses that they no longer mean anything, thus becoming comfortable shelters for no fixed abodes of reflection and crowds. This is certainly the case with the term madness, which becomes omnipresent and expresses so many states, the result of misuse, when one scrutinizes the dysfunctions and excesses of humans who seem to be suffering from major and irremediable dementia. The first death, according to monotheistic traditions, is fratricide. In addition, on careful examination of the state of the world, everything suggests that the last one will be a phenomenal engulfment. Atlantis, myth or reality, should give food for thought to supposedly sensible beings. Faced with this moral and natural decay, faced with this blindness, this generalized unconsciousness, there would remain only the writers, the guardians of all the temples and the ultimate ramparts against all the atrocities that could denounce and defuse the explosions announcing the cataclysms.À vouloir recenser les nuances de la folie et les expressions la désignant, on se heurte à une vaste aire sémantique et conceptuelle, articulée sur des limbes d’ombres et d’incertitudes.
