    Get PDF
In order to integrate renewable energy into the national energy policy, the Algeriangovernment signed the National Program for the Development and Expansion of RenewableEnergy in March 2011. This program aims to encourage the production of renewable energy fromvarious sources. To assess the current situation of energy consumption patterns in the Algerianeconomy, a model was estimated to study the causal relationship between per capita renewableenergy consumption and per capita consumption of non-renewable energy for the period 1990-2023.During the mentioned period, the results confirmed the absence of a causal relationship in both thelong and short terms. Therefore, the same model was estimated for the period 2000-2023, and thenfor the period 2010-2023, where a unidirectional causal relationship from per capita renewableenergy consumption to per capita non-renewable energy consumption emerged. This relationshipwas influenced by the results of the National Program for the Development and Expansion ofRenewable Energy, which was initiated by the government starting in 2011. In general, theAlgerian economy is still in a phase of almost complete dependence on non-renewable energy andneeds to make significant efforts to transition to the second stage of energy transformation

The skill of conjuring imaginary characters through imagination and interrogating or evoking them has been found in abundance in our Arab heritage, as the hero of the narrative experiences a fit, tremor, or trembling that leads to the disruption of the hero’s mental systems. The main event is the explosion, and the beginning of the problem is the hero’s question about the reason for his father’s martyrdom without fault in this explosion, which reflected the image of the ideological struggle for power. No full text
This study presents abrief overview of M. Benhadji Serradj’s ethnographic studies on the popular culture of Béni Snous, particularly those aspects previously addressed by the French orientalist Edmond Destaing, which are laden with orientalist ideology. It also highlights the distinctive nature of M. Benhadji Serradj’s studies, both in term of methodology and content. Although the author, as he states, does not aspire to more than his studies being a continuation of E. Destaing’s studies, which he considers pioneering and rich in useful information, the reveal a significant difference between them and add a qualitative addition not reproducing anything that was produced before. The study explores the reason for this distinction and difference in the researcher’s close relationship with the research community, his contrasting view orientalist ideology, and especially in the intended goal of these studies which is to reveal the essence of the popular culture of the Béni Snous communityCette étude présente un aperçu succinct des travaux ethnographiques du chercheur Mohamed Benhadji-Serradj sur la culture populaire des BeniSnous, en particulier les aspects déjà abordés par l’orientaliste français Edmond Destaing, dont les écrits sont empreints d’idéologie orientaliste.
