Social responsibility and marketing ethics
The marketing activity of firms experienced major changes in recent times, and that by its continuous evolution, which resulted overruns in some of these marketing activities, the main objective has become the achievement of firms objectives : profit, growth and continuity, without taking into account the interests of other parties: customers, society and the environment. Because of this problem, the concept of social responsibility and marketing ethics emerged as a practice of marketing activity that requires a spirit of responsibility towards society and that requires respecting the values of individuals and groups, and preserving the environment to achieve sustainable developmen
The impact of banking sector indicators on the value added of the industrial sector in Algeria
The objective of this study is to analyze the reality of the banking and industrial sectors in Algeria, as well as the standard modeling of the impact of the banking sector indicators on the growth of the value added of the industrial sector in the same country during the period 1992-2017. In order to address the problem of the subject and to test its hypotheses, The study concluded that there is a long-term balance between the added value of the industrial sector and the most important indicators of the banking sector. It is possible to say that, despite the positive impact of the indicators of the banking sector on industrial added value, this effect remains small, and requires the good and efficient management of this sector to avoid financial crises
Diaristic Approach and Narrative Simulation The Diary: Self-Expression and Space for Literary Creation
Due to its variety and intrinsic complexity, the diary manages to fulfill both the role of self-expression and that of a literary creation space. In its early stages, faithful to all authentic diary writing, it simply followed the course of days, haphazardly collecting traces of its author’s existence. The latter emphasizes adherence to reality as a primary necessity for diary writing to take place. However, often, reality and fiction intertwine in the journals of contemporary writers, and the boundary between the two instances is hardly perceptible. This article explores this complex relationship between reality and fiction in diary writing.
The Influence of The Mother Tongue on Foreign Language Learning A comparative study of Arabic, French and English speakers: Linguistic transfer, Facilitation and Interference
The influence of the mother tongue on foreign language learning is primarily based on the phenomenon of linguistic transfer. This pheno-menon can take two forms: a facilitating effect, where the similarities betwe-en the mother tongue and the target language simplify learning, and an interfering effect, where the differences between the two languages become obstacles. For example, grammatical or phonetic similarities can lead to rapid assimilation of the new language, while significant differences may slow this process by causing errors. This phenomenon is also influenced by cognitive, sociocultural, and educational factors. The study of linguistic transfer is essential to understand how learners transition from existing linguistic know-ledge to the new language. It also helps develop appropriate teaching appro-aches that take into account the specific characteristics of each learner, especially in multilingual situationsL’influence de la langue maternelle sur apprentissage d’une langue étrangère repose essentiellement sur le phénomène de transfert linguistique.
Corrective Feedback during Oral Lesson and Self-Regulationof Learning of French as Foreign Language in Elementary School Feedback Effect and Teacher/Learner Dialogue
This article attempts to study the effect of oral feedback on the continuation of the teacher/learner dialogue in French as a foreign language class by a young public of 5th grade in Algeria. In order to identify the different types of corrective feedback used by the teachers and to highlight the erroneous linguistic forms in the learners’ responses in relation to the continuation of the lesson, we used recordings of four sessions reserved for oral comprehension, presented by two teachers in two different classes, as well as semi-directed interviews with these two teachers. Both qualitative and quantitative analysis suggests that explicit correction and prompting are the most commonly used corrective feedback techniques in these sessions. It should also be noted that prompting and the use of hypotheses as well as peer correction encourage the learner to speak up. However, negative feedback hinders the self-corrective role of prompting, leads to stress and blocking, which results in reduced self-esteem and therefore lowered confidence and speaking ability of the learnerCet article tente d’étudier l’effet du feedback à l’oral sur la poursuite du dialogue enseignant/apprenant en classe de français langue étrangère chez un public jeune de 5eAP en Algérie.
Literature as a Space for Deploying the Cultural Representations of Algerian and French Students When Plurilinguism Makes a Difference
This study examined the potential connections between plurilingualism and pluriculturalism within a global context marked by constant transformations and the ongoing redefinition of contemporary societies. It focused on the reading of a literary text by French and Algerian students to uncover and analyze their intercultural representations. Through a comparative qualitative and quantitative analysis, the research aimed to determine whether plurilingual students are more likely to develop attitudes of openness, tolerance, and respect for otherness compared to monolingual students, who may be more inclined to adopt conservative perspectives toward foreign cultures.L’étude réalisée s’est interrogée sur les articulations possibles entre le plurilinguisme et le pluriculturalisme dans un contexte mondial marqué par des mutations constantes et des redéfinitions perpétuelles des contours des sociétés contemporaines.
Strategies of Enunciative Erasure and Position Taken by the Author-Researcher Case of Doctoral Student Articles
The main purpose of this article is to examine the construction of authorship in scientific articles written by Algerian doctoral students. We focused on the personal subject pronouns (nous and on) as the main mark of the expression of subjectivity, trying to see how the identity of the author is constituted in the texts of these young researchers. The observations indicates tyhat, dispite the requirement of objectvity that caracterireres the discursive genre in research, the writings of doctotoral studients continue to include markers of the first person.
IMPACT OF DROUGHT STRESS ON TOTAL PHENOLS, BUTANOLSOLUBLE POLYPHENOLS, AND VANILLIN IN THREE FABA BEAN (VICIA FABA L.) CULTIVARS
The phenolic makeup of legumes plays a key role in their nutritional quality, antioxidant capacity, and how theyrespond to environmental stress. This study investigated how drought stress influences total phenols (TP), butanol- solublepolyphenols, and vanillin- reactive compounds in three faba bean (Vicia faba L.) cultivars: Reinablanca, Aquadulce L., andAlfred. Plants experienced both traditional (T) and selected (S) post- harvest treatments to examine how genotype anddrought stress affect phenolic metabolism. TP levels ranged from 46. 53 mg/g DM in Reinablanca T to 92. 68 mg/g DM inAlfred S, with Alfred consistently showing the highest levels under drought conditions. Butanol-soluble polyphenolsfollowed a similar trend, reaching 109.35. 35 mg/g DM in Alfred S, which indicates a strong link between TP andpolymerized phenolics. In contrast, vanillin content dropped under the selected treatment across all cultivars, withReinablanca T having the highest level at 41.40 mg/g DM. This suggests a metabolic trade- off where stress- drivenphenolic production may limit precursors for flavor- related compounds. The different cultivars responded uniquely: Alfredshowed the highest potential for bioactive properties, Reinablanca maintained higher vanillin levels under traditionaltreatments, and Aquadulce L. exhibited intermediate traits but had higher butanol- soluble phenolics during drought stress. These findings show that drought stress boosts antioxidant phenolics while decreasing flavor- related vanillin, reflecting anadaptive shift in metabolism. Overall, Alfred stands out as a promising cultivar for functional foods or nutraceuticals owingto its strong antioxidant properties, while Reinablanca might be better suited for products focused on sensory qualities. Thisresearch offers valuable insights into how stress affects phenolic metabolism in legumes and guides strategies for selectingcultivars and managing post- harvest treatments to improve both nutritional and sensory qualitie
An analytical study of accounting for biological assets according to the Algerian agricultural financial accounting system in light of IAS 41 (Agriculture)
This study aims to shed light on the accounting of animal and plant biological assets prescribed in the Algerian agricultural financial accounting system in light of what is stated in IAS 41 “Agriculture,” considering that it represents the summary of accounting thought adopted from the international accounting reference. To address the problem of the study and test its hypotheses, we relied on the descriptive approach, by analyzing the elements related to accounting for biological assets in the Algerian and international accounting reference. The results reached are: The Algerian agricultural financial accounting system defines biological assets and explains how they are recognized and included in the accounts, in addition to the existence of compatibility between the agricultural financial accounting system and International Accounting Standard 41 “Agriculture” in terms of requirements for accounting treatment of biological asset
Organizational Culture and Its Impact on Knowledge Management in University Libraries
The present study investigates how organizational culture influences knowledge management within university libraries and highlights its critical function in improving knowledge management practices. These practices encompass the collection, organization, transfer, and utilization of information to foster learning and academic research. A supportive organizational culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing can enhance the performance of university libraries, thereby reinforcing their role in facilitating scientific research and developing academic competencies. In contrast, a culture marked by rigidity and a lack of openness may obstruct knowledge management efforts, adversely impacting the library's productivity and its capacity as a key information resource. Furthermore, this study explores the interplay between organizational culture and knowledge management as contemporary administrative concepts that institutions strive to implement. University libraries aim to leverage the experiences of other organizations to effectively integrate organizational culture and knowledge management practice
