This article examines Jean-Yves Lacoste’s phenomenology as an evential proposal that reconfigures the boundaries between philosophy and theology through the liturgical dimension. In a context where contemporary phenomenology questions phenomena that exceed classical intentionality —such as the sacred, the gift, or absence— Lacoste offers an original path for thinking the experience of God without reducing it either to a religious object or to spiritualist subjectivity. The study situates this proposal within the horizon of the French new phenomenology that followed the debate on the theological turn, and shows how, through the liturgical reduction, Lacoste conceives religious experience as an event of excess: a non-parousiac presence that fractures the subject-object schema and transforms the subject into a witness. The article’s contribution lies in interpreting liturgy as non-lieu and entre-temps, categories that redefine phenomenality from within waiting, gift, and hospitality, thus expanding the field of what may appear. In this way, Lacoste’s phenomenology not only illuminates new modes of experience, but also offers a form of rationality capable of linking thought and praise within the horizon of the human before God.Este artículo examina la fenomenología de Jean-Yves Lacoste como una propuesta acontecial que reconfigura los límites entre filosofía y teología a partir de la liturgia.

Introduction: Consumer behavior is an understudied determinant of residential water and electricity demandand, when it is studied, capturing and quantifying it is often problematic due to the absence of validated scales. Objective: to describe the beliefs, attitudes and practices related to water and electricity saving in households in the Aburrá Valley, with the purpose of contributing to the construction of scales that allow the study of saving behavior. Method: qualitative research with particularistic ethnography. Results and discussion: households have two types of beliefs (about consumption and about saving strategies), three types of attitudes (attitude toward consumption practices, emotional responses to saving behavior, and concern and feeling of responsibility for the environmental consequences of consumption) and three types of practices (investment in efficient technologies, water collection and reuse, and restriction of consumptionpractices). These findings constitute a basis for the development of a comprehensive scale that allows thequantification of the different dimensions of behavior and that has better validity characteristics than the instruments currently in use.Introduction: Consumer behavior is an understudied determinant of residential water and electricity demandand, when it is studied, capturing and quantifying it is often problematic due to the absence of validated scales.

This reflective article critically examines the predominant approaches to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by 2025, aiming to assess whether deficit-centered perspectives persist or whether there has been a successful transition toward social and educational inclusion models based on the neurodiversity paradigm. To achieve this, a systematic review of 60 scientific studies was conducted, including recent research (2023-2025), utilizing a methodology that combined documentary analysis, critical evaluation of specialized literature, and synthesis of empirical evidence. The results demonstrate significant advances in the neurobiological understanding of ASD, particularly in the identification of genetic markers and differential neurocognitive characteristics. However, critical gaps persist between theoretical knowledge and practical application, especially in the Colombian context, where limitations are observed in access to timely diagnoses (average delay of 18 months) and the implementation of effective educational adaptations (only 34% of institutions properly apply Individualized Reasonable Adjustment Plans [PIAR]). The article proposes neuropsychopedagogy-based strategies to promote inclusive educational models, emphasizing: 1) the design of individualized plans with a neurodiverse approach, 2) specialized teacher training, and 3) the development of public policies that ensure a transition from an assistance-based model to one of real inclusion. These findings highlight the need to align scientific advancements with practical interventions that address the specific needs of individuals with ASD and their families.

One of the main phytosanitary problems in ornamental species in Colombia is mites, which have developed a series of survival mechanisms that make their control more complex. Low biological efficiencies of agrochemical products have even been identified to control these pests, making it relevant to find management strategies to improve control and mitigation tools. There are ingredients to the biological cycle control of each pest. In the case of the Hexythiazox chemical molecule, which belongs to group 10A according to the IRAC classification and, due to its characteristics, helps to break the pest cycle since it has high control over the postures and a post-lethal effect of the transovarial type. Fumigation is a phase that requires water plant supply since it serves as a vehicle for the CPPs (crop protection products). The pH determines the reactivity of the ingredients applied and facilitates the molecules’ stability when sprayed on the plants. In this work, a review of the different types of mites in ornamental species in Colombia is studied, and the control and mitigation strategies are described.

Challenges and opportunities of peacebuilding in Colombia

This article explores the key elements for achieving lasting peace in Colombia, emphasizing the importance of addressing social inequalities and factors affecting vulnerable communities and victims of armed conflict. Through a literature review across databases, peacebuilding practices are identified, such as strengthening historical memory and implementing restorative justice. The article also considers approaches like “story listening,” which promotes healing and strengthens affected communities. Local initiatives, such as community sports, serve as tools to foster resilience and inclusion in areas with limited state presence. Finally, the analysis considers how the inclusion of ex-combatants and a balanced approach to justice (combining reconciliation with accountability) can help build a safer and fairer environment. Overall, these approaches suggest that a lasting peace depends on inclusive social reconstruction, which addresses both the emotional well-being of victims and the strengthening of community foundations in the post-conflict context. This article explores the key elements for achieving lasting peace in Colombia, emphasizing the importance of addressing social inequalities and factors affecting vulnerable communities and victims of armed conflict. Full text link
This research article is based on the doctoral thesis entitled “Effect of the Emotional Lab program compared to the initial teacher training program on emotional competencies for teachers in training at teacher training colleges in Antioquia: a randomized controlled clinical trial,” which aimed to develop a training program for teachers in training at teacher training colleges (ENS). The approach was empirical and analytical, and the design was an experimental study of the randomized controlled clinical trial type. The results highlighted the need to establish training processes for trainee teachers that link the constructs of the neuroscience of emotion, emotional education, and emotional competencies. The conclusions point to the relevance of including this type of program in the curricular processes of trainee teachers.

Total peace, a quest for peace between bilateral and multilateral

According to the implementation of the Total Peace policy, President Gustavo Petro (2022–2026) sought to differentiate himself from the partial peace policy pursued under the government of Juan Manuel Santos (2010–2018), who first negotiated between 2012 and 2016 with the RevolutionaryArmed Forces of Colombia–People’s Army (FARC-EP) and later with the National Liberation Army (ELN)—signing an agenda agreement and a bilateral ceasefire—and also from the Peace with Legality policy of former President Iván Duque (2018–2022), who ultimately closed the door to dialogue with any armed group (Archila & Duque, 2021).At the outset, the Total Peace policy was embodied in Law 2272 of 2022 (Congress of the Republic of Colombia, 2022) as President Petro’s commitment to removing all illegal armed groups from war through negotiation. It offered processes of political dialogue for those groups that continuously exercise violence in an organized way, with recognized or responsible command in various regions of the country. It even opened the door to collective submission to justice through unprecedented socio-legal dialogue spaces with groups not classified as insurgencies, which the law called organized armed structures of high-impact crime.According to the implementation of the Total Peace policy, President Gustavo Petro (2022–2026) sought to differentiate himself from the partial peace policy pursued under the government of Juan Manuel Santos (2010–2018), who first negotiated between 2012 and 2016 with the RevolutionaryArmed Forces of Colombia–People’s Army (FARC-EP) and later with the National Liberation Army (ELN)—signing an agenda agreement and a bilateral ceasefire—and also from the Peace with Legality policy of former President Iván Duque (2018–2022), who ultimately closed the door to dialogue with any armed group (Archila & Duque, 2021).At the outset, the Total Peace policy was embodied in Law 2272 of 2022 (Congress of the Republic of Colombia, 2022) as President Petro’s commitment to removing all illegal armed groups from war through negotiation. A call to the intellectual as a collective subject

The intellectual is often imagined as a solitary wanderer—someone confined all day in a study, backed by a sturdy wooden library, an ashtray to the left, a cup of coffee to the right, and, in the distance, a window where the sunset appears and, at night, the cicadas sing. Indeed, when Plato, seeking to problematize the origin of intellectual ingenuity, the root of knowledge, and the enigma of wisdom, writes the myth of the cicadas in his Phaedrus, he seems to be thinking of a subject who must withdraw from the world to find inspiration in the hidden voice of nature. This subject forgets to attend to basic needs or daily concerns, for their soul is cast toward ideas, and their ultimate purpose is to compose the truest discourses—to encode, in the form of language, what the cicadas sing to them. This idea, which no doubt serves to explain the faculty that drives us to create knowledge, to name the things of the world with virtue, truth, and goodness, ought, however, to be expanded—beyond the individual who walks alone along the frontiers of reason— to consider the subject of knowledge as a being in community, as a collective subject. The intellectual is often imagined as a solitary wanderer—someone confined all day in a study, backed by a sturdy wooden library, an ashtray to the left, a cup of coffee to the right, and, in the distance, a window where the sunset appears and, at night, the cicadas sing.
