Replication Data for: A Long-Term Evaluation of Soil Moisture Sensing Based on Wireless Communication
This dataset contains multiple-month time series data of various radio technology parameters, such as the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value, in combination with soil and environmental data captured by a local sensor. Also take a look at the data from the Froggit DP2000 local weather station, which is placed directly next to our deployment.
Our sensor node pairs were deployed in Potsdam, Germany, near Berlin.

Replikationsdaten für: Excess Mortality in Austria during the COVID-19 Pandemic
This dataset is provided to replicate the correlation results from
M. Reitzner: Excess Mortality in Austria during the COVID-19 Pandemic
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mortality in Austria is investigated. Excess mortality for Austria and all Austrian federal states in the years 2020 to 2023 is computed. The results are discussed against some COVID-19 specific quantities, yielding correlations of excess mortality with COVID-19 infections, COVID-19 deaths and vaccination rates
Multispectral Drone Data Agricultural Field near Linne, Bissendorf
Multispectral drone data of an agricultural area near Linne, Bissendorf (Lower Saxony, Germany) acquired with a Micasense Dual camera
WEB-IDS23 Dataset
WEB-IDS23
WEB-IDS23 is a network intrusion detection dataset that includes over 12 million flows, categorizing 20 attack types across FTP, HTTP/S, SMTP, SSH, and network scanning activities. This dataset is documented in the paper "Technical Report: Generating the WEB-IDS23 Dataset," which provides insights into the generation, structure, and key characteristics of the dataset.
Data
The dataset is available as CSV files under web-ids23. Each file includes the data of one class, and each row corresponds to a flow extracted using Zeek FlowMeter. In total, the dataset includes over 12 million samples.
Short Documentation
A short documentation of the data and the according labels can be found in the files readme.md or readme.pdf</p
Runtime Data of Horizontal Visibility Algorithms for synthetic and empirical Time Series
This repository contains the computed runtimes of state-of-the-art horizontal visibility algorithms for synthetic and empirical time series. The provided Python code was used to compute the runtime data and includes implementations of various horizontal visibility algorithms. The main contribution is a newly developed algorithm that extends the fast weighted horizontal visibility algorithm of Zhu et al. . The proposed algorithm works efficiently on streamed data, is multi-processing capable, and has linear runtime in the worst case
StarFrame-UDP: Starlink frame timings at full utilization
This dataset contains the measured Starlink Frames observed during the measurements for the Paper Better Fill Up Your Pipe – Revisiting Starlink's Burst Characterization. The original Inter-Packet-Delays can be handed out on request, but are too large to be publicly served
Replikationsdaten für: Effects of Enactment in Virtual Reality – A Comparative Experiment on Memory for Action
Virtual Reality (VR) is predicted to be a promising learning medium, especially for actions by enabling learning by enactment. Learning by enactment is based on the enactment effect, which assumes that learning by enactment leads to better memory performance than learning without enactment. To date little is known about whether the enactment effect appears in VR like in real reality. The study takes up this topic as a first research question and additionally explores in a second research question to what extent the memory performance of learning by enactment in VR can be compared to learning by enactment in real reality. We conducted a VR-experiment with four groups (n=112) that differed in terms of learning condition or environment. Participants were asked to remember short actions for a later memory test. The results indicate that learning by enactment in VR outperforms passive verbal learning in VR but does not exceed observational learning in VR. Furthermore, the results demonstrate that the memory performance of learning by enactment in VR is similar to the learning by enactment in real reality. These findings are highly relevant as the potential of VR as a new learning medium supporting learning by enactment has been demonstrated
Non-Destructive, Specular Laser-Reflectometry and X-ray Fluorescence Analysis applied to Coins of the Gallic Roman Empire
Non-destructive, specular laser-reflectometry and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis are applied to coins of the Gallic Roman Empire with the objective of allocation of mints and/or the identification of different minting techniques. For this purpose, laser-reflectometric fingerprints of three series of coins, each consisting of five antoniniani (or radiates) of the Gallic Roman Empire originating from two mints - Trier and Cologne-, are systematically determined, analyzed and correlated with the corresponding XRF element analysis. The results show that the use of an inexpensive red-emitting laser system (wavelength 632.8 nm) with a beam diameter d 10). Although clear characteristics of the mints cannot be derived or recognized from the individual signals, the averaged values of each set of coins enable to distinguish between the sets, to correlate the signal with the silver content of the surface layer and to estimate the refractive index n
