The article is performing a comparative exergy analysis of a thermoelectric heat pump and a vapour compression heat pump, operating in the same conditions, from heat source temperature point of view. The COP of vapour compression heat pump was found to be 3.02 compared to 1.349 for the thermoelectric heat pump for 60 ℃ temperature lift. For the same temperature lift, corresponding to the increase in the temperature of the heat source from 5 ℃ to 65 ℃ required for the delivery of heat for household purposes, exergy efficiency of vapour compression heat pump is 59.44% compared to 23.90% for the thermoelectric heat pump, while the energy needed to operate the thermoelectrical heat pump is 20.76 kW compared to 9.29 kW for vapour compression heat pump. The article is performing a comparative exergy analysis of a thermoelectric heat pump and a vapour compression heat pump, operating in the same conditions, from heat source temperature point of view. The study focuses on the examination of the most fundamental concept of civil law, especially the right in rem, namely the concept of things. The author seeks to answer the question of how new phenomena appearing because of technological development, such as digital assets, including various crypto assets like tokens, can be integrated into the system of classical civil law, whether they may be subject to property rights or the civil law rules applicable to the property. To answer this question, the author first explores the concept of things based on the old Hungarian private law literature and the provisions of the earlier and current Hungarian civil codes, presenting contemporary private legal opinions. Then, she deals with the legislative extension of the rules governing things and reviews which assets have been subject to a possible revision of the conceptual framework of the thing. The author pays particular attention to the examination of digital assets, defining and classifying tokens based on the MiCA regulation recently adopted by the European legislator. In the final part of the study, the author deals with the category of non-fungible tokens, highlighting the problems that are currently identifiable and clearly need to be solved in the future. The study focuses on the examination of the most fundamental concept of civil law, especially the right in rem, namely the concept of things. The impact of digitalisation on money laundering

    Get PDF
The crime of money laundering poses many dangers. It is used by a significant proportion of criminals to try to hide the proceeds of crime. This is mostly done through the banking system, but digitalisation is increasing the variety of options available to criminals. Money laundering through financial institutions is one of the most common forms of money laundering, but money laundering in the virtual space is also becoming increasingly common. Cryptocurrencies and crypto-assets are the main threat in this respect, as one person can have several virtual "wallets" and there is a high degree of anonymity. This increases latency and makes it almost impossible for the authorities to trace the origin of assets. The crime of money laundering poses many dangers. A relationship between global offensive alliance and dominant sets

In this paper we show the relationship between global offensive alliance and dominant sets in the graphs and the random graphs. A global offensive alliance in a graph G=(V, E) is a subset S of V such that for every vertex v not in S at least half of the vertices in the closed neighborhood of v are in S and a dominating set for a graph G is a subset D of its vertices, such that any vertex of G is either in D, or has a neighbor in D.In this paper we show the relationship between global offensive alliance and dominant sets in the graphs and the random graphs. In the labour market, interdependence is implicit in the relationship when working for someone else, whether independently or not. The pacta sunt servanda, the assumption of rights and responsibilities, obliges both contracting parties to comply with the contract. At the same time, when the partnership moves away from a state of interdependence, there is a need for transparency, predictability, security: protection. In recent years we have seen the disappearance of stable employment, we speak of the worker rather than the employee, and we analyse the inequality of dependent relationships. What has really happened? In this paper, I point to these changes, reflecting on the contract principle and the nuances of interdependence.A munkaerőpiacon a más részére történő önálló vagy önállótlan munkavégzés során az egymásrautaltság értelemszerűen benne foglaltatik a  jogviszonyban. A pacta sunt servanda, a jog és felelősség vállalása mindkét szerződő felet a szerződés betartására készteti. Ugyanakkor, amikor eltűnik a partnerség az egymásrautaltság állapotából, szükség van átláthatóságra, kiszámíthatóságra, biztonságra: védelemre. Az utóbbi években eltűnt a stabil foglalkoztatás, a munkavállaló helyett munkavégzőről beszélünk, és a függő viszonyok egyenlőtlenségét elemezzük. Mi történt valójában? Ebben a tanulmányban ezekre a változásokra mutatok rá, gondolkodom a szerződési elvről és az egymásrautaltság árnyalatiról

Working time and its organisation and scheduling is a fundamental element of the employment relationship between the parties, not a mandatory element, but a natural element. It is a cardinal point of both international and European Union legislation. We believe that it is as much a factor of competition as it is a matter of health and safety at work, part of the wider ‘working environment’. Dealing with working time regulation is a challenge, especially when doing so in the health sector. The sector's dominant labour law environment underwent a radical reform in autumn 2020. The change of status from civil servant to a very specific service law brought health workers under the scope of the law. The resulting changes have brought to the surface not only general issues of interpretation, but also specific difficulties in organising working time and coherent problems of remuneration, generating an increasingly serious resonance in the national public.

Territorial Differences in Hungary's Residential Property Market

Investigations related to residential real estate can still be considered topical issues today. During our research, on the one hand, we drew conclusions based on long-term data series, and on the other hand, with the help of horizontal, territorial investigations, we revealed spatial correlations regarding the events of the past decade. In our article, firstly we reviewed some concepts related to real estate, with special attention to the domestic literature. With the help of long time series data, we examined the relationship between the change in the residential population and the stock of residential real estate. We have revealed connections, or we specified the number of built residential properties and the real income per capita, as well as examined the distribution of apartments according to comfort in the regions of our country. During our research, we also looked at how the concentration of housing transactions between private individuals changed in relation to the Central Hungarian region and the countryside. Using the 2010 and 2020 data, the Moran I index and based on the territorial autocorrelation, we clarified our correlations regarding the number of built residential real estates

A Behavioural Approach to Strategic Management

    Get PDF
The concepts, methods and practices of strategic management have evolved significantly since the beginning of the 20th century. In the 1950s and 60s the use of long-term planning was characteristic. Until the end of the 1980s strategy was perceived as a response to environmental changes. During the 1990s strategy formulation was perceived as a process based on internal resources and capabilities of firms. This radical change with the previously applied concepts was influenced by the accelerated rate of environmental changes. Companies – especially large firms – were unable to change their strategies parallel with changes in their environment. They needed a more stable starting point for developing their strategies. Strategic decision makers intended to make optimal strategic decisions until the end of the 70s. Due to the newly emerged theory of limited rationality it has become accepted as a strong influencing factor of strategic decision-making. Parallel with the above mentioned changes the role of managerial behavioural characteristic had emerged as a more broadly accepted factor in strategic decision-making. In the present paper our intention is to present this development process. In preparing the paper the author has relied on his previous publications in the field.

The actuality of the study of saturation in Hungarian landfills is indisputable; its research is definitely justified. In our paper, we undertake this task based on the periodic drone geodetic surveys of the landfill of a medium-population city in Hungary. After evaluating the results of each survey, the expected date of landfill saturation is determined by us, and possibilities for its further specification are also examined
