Get PDFAccess to finance for businesses will definitely be affected in the future by the mandatory implementation of the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) framework in Hungary, which promotes the monitoring and transparency of the environmental impacts of their operations. For both large and small companies, it is of paramount importance to be prepared for the wide extension of ESG requirements to the whole European market, which will happen in a few years. The aim of this study is to provide an overview of the development of the ESG framework, the ESG activities of the most significant players in the Hungarian banking and corporate sector and the current implementation of related disclosures.A vállalkozások forráshoz jutását a jövőben mindenképpen érinteni fogja a működésüket környezeti hatásainak monitorozását és transzparenciáját elősegítő ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) keretrendszer kötelező érvényesítése Magyarországon is. Get PDFAs being one of the participants of non-profit marketing, civil organisations face communication challenges similar to those of profit-oriented sectors, but to solve these problems they have got by far more moderate resources and are out of managerial skills in most cases.
After elaborating the theoretical frames of social marketing, based on the results of an empirical research – a series of deep interviews-, this study strives to give a useful overview and tool for civil organisations to organise their communication activities even more efficiently and more impressively.
In the meantime, we have to identify who our target audiences are, what the main communication contents are, what our potential means are and what is more, we have to examine whether we can or should speak about integrated communication in the cases of different target audiences and whether the communication contents should differ or not.
Though finding sources eats up human resources at most organisations, communication toward the supported issue and the target audience is as important as persuasion of the staff and the volunteers.A civil szervezetek a profitorientált szektorhoz hasonló kommunikációs kihívásokkal találják szemben magukat, amelyek megoldásához azonban szerényebb források és sokszor a szakértelem hiánya is párosul, különösen elmaradott térségekben. A magyarországi kis- és középvállalkozások ESG-minősítésének kiterjesztett területi áttekintése
Get PDFOur study aims to analyze the changes in ESG ratings of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises. In the research, we tracked the changes in ESG ratings of nearly 1200 companies between September 19, 2022, and October 19, 2023. The results indicate that in the area of positive ESG changes, the professional scientific and technical activities sector dominates, while in the realm of negative ESG changes, the construction industry prevails. Regional-level examinations reveal significant ESG improvement in the capital city region (+3.7%) and the southern Great Plain region (+4.2%), whereas the largest negative change is observed in the northern Great Plain region (-4.8%). County-level analyses show the most significant positive change in Csongrád-Csanád (8.4%), Veszprém (4.4%), and Vas (4%) countries, while the most substantial declines are associated with Nógrád (-6.4%), Hajdú-Bihar (-5.4%), and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg (-4.4%) countries.Tanulmányunk célja a hazai kis- és középvállalkozások ESG-minősítésében bekövetkező változások elemzése. A vizsgálatban közel 1200 vállalkozás ESG-minősítésének változását követtük nyomon 2022. szeptember 19. és 2023. október 19. közötti időszakon. Az eredmények azt mutatják, hogy a pozitív ESG-változás területén a szakmai tudományos, műszaki tevékenység iparág, a negatív ESG-változás területén az építőipar dominál. A regionális szintű elemzések a fővárosban (+3,7%) és a dél-alföldi régióban (+4,2%) mutatnak jelentős ESG-javulást, míg a legnagyobb negatív változás az észak-alföldi régióban (-4,8%) figyelhető meg. A megyei szintű vizsgálatok szerint a legnagyobb pozitív változás Csongrád-Csanád (8,4%), Veszprém (4,4%), Vas (4%), a legnagyobb visszaesés Nógrád (-6,4%), Hajdú-Bihar (-5,4%) és Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg (-4,4%) megyékhez köthető

Get PDFDisability is a major social issue, underlined by the large - and growing - number of people affected. Their disadvantages are deepened by their limited participation in social life. Ensuring a barrier-free physical and social environment is a necessary condition for the widest possible social inclusion. This study aims to boost inclusion efforts in the context of physical accessibility by presenting a self-developed measurement tool of the physical accessibility of buildings. The Accessibility Index can be a useful tool for informing people with reduced mobility about the extent to which a building can be used by them. Institutions with similar functions can be compared in terms of accessibility.A fogyatékosság jelentős társadalmi probléma, melyet az érintettek nagy – és növekvő – létszáma is alátámaszt. Az érintettek hátrányait a társadalmi életben való részvétel korlátozottsága még inkább elmélyíti. A minél szélesebb körű társadalmi inklúzió feltétele az akadálymentes fizikai és társas környezet biztosítása. A tanulmány a fizikai akadálymentesítés témaköréhez kapcsolódva azáltal kívánja előmozdítani az inklúziós törekvéseket, hogy egy olyan saját fejlesztésű mérőszámot mutat be, mely az épületek fizikai akadálymentességének mérésére hivatott. A megalkotott akadálymentesítési index hasznos eszköze lehet a mozgásukban korlátozottak informálásának arról, hogy egy adott épület mennyiben használható számukra. Get PDFAccording to Article 6 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, the European Union (EU) is obliged to access the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). Accession to the ECHR is particularly important in the context of Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP). The work carried out on the basis of which the EU will accede to the ECHR should aim to shape the future accession agreement so that it not only resolves the problem of judicial control over the CFSP and the compatibility of the law created with the standards developed by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) but also, above all, addresses the relationship between the CJEU and the ECtHR in the context of the deficit of judicial control of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) over the law created under the CFSP and the practice of the functioning of this policy. This article thus focuses on previous works concerning EU accession to the ECHR, possible solutions to problematic questions, and the importance of the ECHR to the CFSP. Get PDFThis paper deals with the legal regulation of the crime of sexual violence. The author explores the reasons why legislators designated the basic case of the specified crime, based on age and free from violence or serious threats, at twelve years old. This examination is conducted from historical and international perspectives while also considering psychological aspects. The analysis specifically addresses how the age is coherent with other provisions of the Criminal Code, which aim to provide enhanced protection for child victims. The paper makes a de lege ferenda recommendation for a more coherent regulation of the Criminal Code.A dolgozat tárgyát a szexuális erőszak bűntettének törvényi szabályozása képezi. A szerző történeti, külföldi kitekintésen keresztül és pszichológiai aspektusait is figyelembe véve vizsgálja azt, hogy miért a tizenkettedik életévben határozta meg a jogalkotó az adott bűncselekmény életkoron alapuló, erőszak és minősített fenyegetés nélküli alapesetét. Az elemzés kiemelten foglalkozik azzal, hogy az életkor mennyire koherens a Büntető Törvénykönyv más tényállásaival, amelyek a gyermekkorú sértettek fokozottabb védelmét kívánják szolgálni. External Debt and Economic Growth Relationship in Nigeria: A Reconsideration
Get PDFThis paper examines the relationship between external debt and economic growth over the period 1981-2021 in Nigeria using the ARDL econometric technique. As economic growth is elusive amid a high and increasing stock of external debt, the country is on the verge of losing access to international financing. Thus, the problem provokes raging discussion on whether, or not, external debt is growth-enhancing in Nigeria. As such, in an attempt to contribute to the discussion and proffer a solution to the problem, this paper builds on an earlier study. Consequent upon preliminary diagnostics, a one-way causality is established to run in a specific pairwise relationship as each of external debt and domestic investment Granger causes economic growth. Moreover, following the affirmation of the long-run relationship among the variables, estimation results reveal an inverse relationship between real interest rate and economic growth in the short-run. The results further establish that external debt impacts negatively, as against openness to trade and domestic investment averagely impacting positively, on economic growth in both the short-run and long-run. In essence, if it becomes pertinent for the country to borrow for growth-enhancing investments, the government is advised to borrow at a zero rate of real interest
