Arrowheads in the cultural-historical property repository of the Administration of Cultural Heritage of Kerman. An Introduction
Get PDFIn this paper, the authors have examined 94 unprovenanced arrowheads (tanged and socketed) that are stored in the cultural historical property repository of the Administration of Cultural Heritage of Kerman Province (Southeastern Iran). The illlegal possessors claimed to have discovered the arrowheads via illegal diggings in the Kerman Province. Most of the examined arrowheads were probably designed for warfare and are comparable to findings within current borders of Iran or its vicinity. Most of the tanged arrowheads probably date to the Iron Age of Iran (1450-550 B.C.). Most of the trilobate arrowheads can be compared to the findings of Achaemenid sites or resemble items that have been excavated from layers associated with the Achaemenids. Get PDFThe article is an attempt to answer the question about the Comenius phenomenon and to determine the essence of the universalism of his pansophism. The universalism of Comenius\u27 views and his vision of the world seem to be an acknowledgement of his genius. On the other hand, a question arises: is not the universalism of Comenius\u27 pansophism a longing for a better world? It is understood as free from violence, safe, predictable, and bringing a sense of happiness, order, and social order, which were social paradigms for Comenius. In the context of comeniology, an assessment of contemporary education, its problems and threats was made. An attempt to reminisce the era of Comenius and a turn towards the future justify the importance and value of his work and its timeless dimension.Artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie o fenomen Komeńskiego oraz istotę uniwersalizmu jego pansofii. Z jednej strony uniwersalizm poglądów Komeńskiego i jego wizja świata wydają się uznaniem dla jego geniuszu. Z drugiej strony powstaje pytanie: Czy uniwersalizm pansofii Komeńskiego nie jest tęsknotą za lepszym światem? Rozumianym jako wolny od przemocy, bezpieczny, przewidywalny oraz dający poczucie szczęścia, porządku i ładu społecznego – co u Komeńskiego stanowiło społeczne paradygmaty. W kontekście komeniologii dokonano oceny współczesnej edukacji, jej problemów i zagrożeń. Get PDFThe critical review of publications in the field of economics and management allows one to state that research covering the tourism supply chain (TSC) is quite limited and non-exhaustive. The article presents the review of the most significant studies discussing the problems of the tourismsupply chain. The authors attempted to indicate gaps in the existing models of the tourism supply chain and on that basis suggested their own model emphasizing, in particular, the relations occurring between its components. It takes into account additional elements, which have not been included so far, i.e. the complex and service oriented nature of a tourist product and its close relations with space, immobility of supply and mobility of demand, as well as the network structure of the tourism economy based on new technologies in terms of information and communication.Krytyczna analiza publikacji z zakresu ekonomii i zarządzania pozwala stwierdzić, że badania zagadnienia łańcucha dostaw w turystyce należą do nielicznych, a jednocześnie są niewyczerpujące. W artykule dokonano przeglądu najważniejszych prac poruszających problematykę łańcucha dostaw w turystyce. Autorki podjęły próbę wskazania niedostatków w dotychczas formułowanych modelach łańcucha dostaw w turystyce i w oparciu o nią zaproponowały własny model, w którym szczególny akcent położyły na relacje między jego ogniwami. Uwzględnia on dodatkowe elementy nie brane dotychczas pod uwagę, tj. złożony i usługowy charakter produktu turystycznego oraz jego ścisły związek z przestrzenią, niemobilność podaży i mobilność popytu,a także sieciowość gospodarki turystycznej opartą na nowych technologiach w zakresie informacji i komunikacji

These mainly the requirements related to the vehicles involved in transport. Important elementsare the types of labeling and packaging of dangerous goods transported that were included in the recommendations developed and published on 30 September 1957 in Geneva by the Committee of Experts of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. These recommendations can be found under the European Agreement on road transport of dangerous goods.W celu zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa transportu oraz minimalizacji ryzyka występującego w trakcie drogowego przewozu towarów niebezpiecznych konieczne jest zastosowanie zasad uregulowanych odpowiednimi przepisami. Dotyczą one głównie wymagań tyczących siępojazdów biorących udział w transporcie. Ważnymi elementami są także oznakowania i typy opakowańprzewożonych ładunków niebezpiecznych, które zostały zawarte w zaleceniach opracowanych oraz opublikowanych w dniu 30 września 1957 roku w Genewie przez Komitet Ekspertów Europejskiej Komisji Gospodarczej ONZ. UWARUNKOWANIA ZMIAN W TRANSPORCIE KOLEJOWYM W UKŁADZIE REGIONALNYM
Get PDFThe subject of the study is to show the basic conditions of changes that are taking place on the rail transport market in Poland in the regional system. The statistical analysis was conducted by provinces. Significant regional differences in the use of railways as a means of transport are characteristic for Poland. Individual voivodships differ in terms of the parameters of the railway network, the manner and scope of its use, the density of railway lines, and the location of stations. Statistical analysis has shown that a high degree of economic and social activity of the population is conducive to better use of railways. There is also a feedback loop here. It is the railway that has had a positive impact on the growth of the region\u27s GDP, counteracting social exclusion and unemployment.Przedmiotem opracowania jest ukazanie podstawowych uwarunkowań zmian zachodzących na rynku przewozów kolejowych w Polsce w układzie regionalnym. Analizę statystyczną przeprowadzono w podziale na województwa. Dla Polski charakterystyczne są znaczne różnice regionalne w wykorzystaniu kolei jako środka transportu. Poszczególne województwa różnią się między sobą parametrami sieci kolejowej, sposobem i zakresem jej wykorzystania, gęstością linii kolejowych oraz lokalizacją stacji. Analiza statystyczna wykazała, że wysoki stopień aktywności ekonomicznej i społecznej ludności sprzyja lepszemu wykorzystaniu kolei. Istnieje również zakres sprzężenia zwrotnego. To właśnie kolej pozytywnie wpływa na wzrost PKB regionu, przeciwdziała wykluczeniu społecznemu i bezrobociu
Alternatywny model pomiaru kapitału ludzkiego
Get PDFThe aim of the article is to present an alternative model of human capital and its possible applications in economics and management. This model builds on the general model of capital using the traditional rules in force in the accounting measurement. The combination of these accounting rules with the discovery of constant economic growth potential (which is the discount factor model)allows for the accurate measurement of individual capital and human capital. A description of the human capital model has been extended to compare it with classic models of human capital, including the concept of the human capital of Becker and Schultz. The article contains the presentation of the principles of pay for human capital. These principles arise from the nature of capital and human capital. The presented method of measurement and principles of proper pay for human capital are used in economics and management. In particular, this allows solving a number of important issues of pay, such as the minimum wage, adequate wage inequalities in the economy, wages in the public sector, and may also provide the basis for remunerating companies. They provide an alternative to the dominant economic literature paramount role in shaping the labour market wages.Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie alternatywnego modelu kapitału ludzkiego oraz możliwości zastosowania w ekonomii i zarządzaniu. Model ten stanowi rozwinięcie ogólnego modelu kapitału wykorzystującego tradycyjne zasady pomiaru obowiązujące w rachunkowości. Połączenie tych zasad rachunkowości z odkryciem stałej ekonomicznej potencjalnego wzrostu (stanowiącej w modelu czynnik dyskontujący) pozwala na dokładny pomiar kapitału oraz indywidualnego kapitału ludzkiego. Opis modelu kapitału ludzkiego został poszerzony o porównanie go z klasycznymi modelami kapitału ludzkiego, m.in. koncepcją kapitału ludzkiego Beckera i Shultza. Artykuł zawiera również prezentację zasad opłacenia kapitału ludzkiego. Zasady te wynikają z natury kapitału i kapitału ludzkiego. Przedstawiona metoda pomiaru oraz zasady właściwego opłacenia kapitału ludzkiego znajdują zastosowanie w ekonomii i zarządzaniu. W szczególności pozwalają na rozwiązanie szeregu ważnych kwestii płacowych takich, jak płaca minimalna, adekwatne nierówności płacowe w gospodarce, płace w sektorze publicznym, jak również mogą stanowić podstawę systemów wynagradzania przedsiębiorstw. Stanowią tym samym alternatywę dla dominującej w literaturze ekonomicznej nadrzędnej roli rynku pracy w kształtowaniu wynagrodzeń
