    Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü, Enformatik Ana Bilim Dalı, Enformatik Bilim DalıYapay zekâ, artan teknolojik faaliyetlerle birlikte hem söylem hem de teknik olarak yaşantımızın önemli bir bölümünde yer almaktadır. Bir yapay zekâ türü olan makine öğrenmesi ve bunun alt kümesi derin öğrenme modelleri ve algoritmalar kullanılarak mevcut veriler işlenebilmekte, yeni ve faydalı veriler elde edilmektedir. Derin öğrenme yöntemlerinden biri olan görüntü işleme teknolojisi, var olan görüntüleri işleyerek yeni ve kullanışlı bilgiler sunma modelidir. Tıbbi görüntüleme teknolojisi ise hastalıkların erken teşhis edilmesi ve tedaviye yanıt oranını arttırmaktadır. Ayrıca hastaların tıbbi görüntülerinin hekimler tarafından okunma süreci zaman kaybının yanı sıra sonuçların sübjektif olmasından dolayı tartışma konusudur. Görüntü işleme teknolojisi bu alanda radyologların iş gücü ve zaman kaybını azaltmasıyla birlikte objektif sonuçlar ortaya çıkarmasıyla popülerliğini arttırmaktadır. Bu tez kapsamında "Görüntü işleme teknolojisi nedir?" sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Bu soruya cevap niteliği taşıyan tezin bilim dünyasına katkısı vurgulanmıştır. Tez kapsamında, sağlıklı, akciğer kanserli kötü ve iyi huylu tümörler bulunan bilgisayarlı tomografi görüntülerinin yer aldığı veri kümesi, önceden eğitilmiş konvolüsyonel sinir ağları; AlexNet, DenseNet 201, GoogleNet, MobileNetV2, ResNet50 mimarileriyle eğitime tabi tutulmuştur. Bu eğitim sonrası bulunan doğruluk oranının arttırılması hedeflenmiştir. Bu bağlamda yeni bir hibrit model geliştirilmiştir. Deneysel sonuçlar önerilen modelin başarısını kanıtlar niteliktedir.With the developing technology, the concept of artificial intelligence is an important part of our lives in terms of discourse and technique. By using machine learning, which is a type of artificial intelligence, and its subset, deep learning models and algorithms, existing data can be processed and new and useful data are obtained. Image processing technology, one of the deep learning methods, is a model of presenting new and useful information by processing existing images. Medical imaging technology, on the other hand, increases the rate of early diagnosis of diseases and response to treatment. In addition, the process of reading the medical images of patients by physicians is a matter of discussion due to the fact that the results are subjective as well as a waste of time. Image processing technology is increasing its popularity in this field as it reduces the labor and time loss of radiologists and produces objective results. In this thesis, "What is image processing technology?" the answer to the question has been sought. The contribution of the thesis, which is an answer to this question, to the world of science is emphasized. Within the scope of the thesis, the dataset of computerized tomography images of healthy, lung cancerous malignant and benign tumors, pre-trained convolutional neural networks; AlexNet, DenseNet 201, GoogleNet, MobileNetV2, ResNet50 trained with their architecture. It is aimed to increase the accuracy rate found after this training. In this context, a new hybrid model has been developed. Experimental results prove the success of the proposed model

    The relationship between mental well-being and healthy lifestyle behaviors of seasonal agricultural worker women

    The study was conducted to examine the relationship between the mental well-being of Seasonal Agricultural Worker (SAW) women and their Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors (HLBs). The study utilizes the descriptive research design. The study was conducted between November 2020 and December 2020 in Turkey, in a Family Health Center-supervised region, where SAW women were concentrated. The sample includes 355 women. The Personal Information Form, Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale (WEMWBS), and Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale II (HLBS II) were used to collect data. Descriptive statistics (number, percentage, mean), independent samples t-test, Mann Whitney U test, one-way analysis of variance, Kruskal Wallis analysis, Pearson Correlation Test, and Simple Linear Regression Analysis were also used in the analyses of the data. There was a positive, strong, and significant correlation between mental well-being and HLBs of SAW women. There was a significant difference between the WEMWBS total mean scores of SAW women according to their economic status and family type. There was a significant difference between the total mean score of the HLBS II according to income level and family type of SAW women (p<0.05). As a result, it has been determined that there is a relationship between the HLBs of SAW women and their mental well-being. It may be recommended to organize training programs and provide mobile health services to enhance HLBs and increase the mental well-being levels of SAW women

    İş Ertelemenin İş Stresine Etkisinde Yönetici Desteğinin Aracı Rolü

    Bu çalışmanın amacı, iş erteleme davranışının iş stresine olan etkisini araştırmaktır. İş ertelemenin iş stresine etkisinde yönetici desteğinin rolünün tespiti, çalışmanın bir diğer amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda TRB2 bölgesindeki özel ve kamu bankası çalışanları üzerinde 318 kişi ile bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Hipotez testi sonuçlarına göre, iş ertelemenin iş stresi üzerinde pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı; yönetici desteği üzerinde negatif yönlü ve anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yönetici desteğinin ise, iş stresi üzerinde negatif yönlü ve anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca yönetici desteğinin iş erteleme ile iş stresi arasındaki ilişkiye kısmi aracılık ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır

    Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü, Bahçe Bitkileri Ana Bilim Dalı, Sebze Yetiştirme ve Islahı Bilim DalıDünya nüfusunun hızla artması, enerji kaynaklarının azalmasına etki ederek alternatif enerji kaynaklarına yönelimi artırmaktadır. Biyokütle enerji kaynağı da bunlardan biridir. Farklı piroliz yöntemleri kullanılarak atıklardan katı, sıvı ve gaz formunda karbonizasyon ürünü elde edilebilmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışmada yavaş piroliz yöntemi kullanılarak ceviz kabuğundan elde edilen biyokömür tercih edilmiştir. Bunun yanında diğer toprak materyalleri olarak linyit, çiftlik gübresi ve kimyasal gübre kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma 2021 yılı ilkbahar (Mart-Mayıs) ve sonbahar (Ekim-Aralık) dönemlerinde Malatya Turgut Özal Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Bahçesinde tarla koşullarında tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 4'er tekerrürlü olarak yürütülmüştür. Bu çalışmada amaç; Malatya ili Battalgazi ilçesinde yaprakları çiğ (marul) ve pişirilerek (ıspanak) tüketilen sebzelerde farklı materyallerin (ceviz kabuğu biyokömürü, linyit, çiftlik gübresi ve kimyasal gübre) değişik dozlarının (U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U6, U7, U8) etkilerinin belirlenmesidir. Yapılan çalışma yetiştirilme dönemi ve uygulama olarak ayrı ayrı değerlendirilmiştir. Ispanak bitkisi incelendiğinde; yeşil aksam ağırlığı ve toplam verimin en yüksek çıktığı uygulama ilkbahar ve sonbahar döneminde U7 uygulaması olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Nitrat içeriğinin en fazla çıktığı uygulama ilkbahar döneminde U3, sonbahar döneminde ise U7 uygulamasında saptanmıştır. Ayrıca ilkbahar döneminde tüm parametrelerin istatistiksel açıdan önemli olduğu, sonbahar döneminde ise klorofil miktarı ve oksalik asit parametreleri hariç diğer tüm parametrelerin istatistiksel açıdan önemli olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Marul bitkisi incelendiğinde ise; yeşil aksam ağırlığı, toplam verim ve nitrat içeriklerinin en yüksek çıktığı uygulama ilkbahar ve sonbahar döneminde U7 uygulaması olduğu saptanmıştır. Bununla birlikte ilkbahar döneminde kuru madde oranı ve oksalik asit parametreleri hariç diğer tüm parametrelerin istatistiksel açıdan önemli olduğu, sonbahar döneminde ise yetişme süresi, kuru madde oranı, oksalik asit ve kalsiyum hariç diğer tüm parametrelerin istatistiksel açıdan önemli olduğu tespit edilmiştir.The rapid increase in the world population affects the decrease in energy resources and increases the orientation to alternative energy resources. Biomass energy source is one of them. By using different pyrolysis methods, carbonization product in solid, liquid and gas form can be obtained from wastes. In this study, biochar obtained from walnut shells by using the slow pyrolysis method was preferred. In addition, lignite, farm manure, and chemical fertilizers were used as other soil materials. This study was carried out in the field conditions in Malatya Turgut Özal University Faculty of Agriculture Research and Application Garden in the spring (March-May) and autumn (October-December) periods of 2021, in a randomized block design with four replications each. The aim of this study is to different doses (U1, U2, U3, U4, U5, U6, U7, U8) of different materials (walnut shell biochar, lignite, farm manure, and chemical fertilizer) in vegetables consumed raw (lettuce) and cooked (spinach) in the Battalgazi district of Malatya province determining its effects. The study was evaluated separately as cultivation period and application. When the spinach plant is examined; It has been determined that the application with the highest green part weight and total yield is the U7 application in the spring and autumn periods. The application with the highest nitrate content was determined in the spring period U3 and in the autumn period U7 application. In addition, it was observed that all parameters were statistically significant in the spring period, and all other parameters were statistically significant in the autumn period, except for the chlorophyll amount and oxalic acid parameters. When the lettuce plant is examined; It was determined that the green part weight, total yield and nitrate contents were highest in the spring and autumn period of the U7 application. However, it was determined that all other parameters except dry matter ratio and oxalic acid parameters in the spring period were statistically significant, and in the autumn period, all other parameters were statistically significant except for the growth period, dry matter ratio, oxalic acid and calcium

    NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF SMOKING ON SEMEN PARAMETERS AFTER VARICOCELECTOMY

    The negative effects of varicocele and smoking on infertility are known. In our study, we aimed to evaluate the effect of smoking on the healing process after varicocelectomy. 378 male patients who have undergone varicocelectomy operation were included in the study. Patients were divided into three groups as non-smokers, patients, who smoke less than 10 cigarettes per day, and patients who smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day. Semen analysis of the patients before varicocelectomy operation and three months after varicocelectomy operation were evaluated and semen volume, sperm concentration and sperm motility were evaluated according to WHO (World Health Organizations) guidelines. Patient age changed between 16 and 52 and the mean age was 27.20±6.74. When cigarette usage was evaluated, it was determined that 52.82% of patients (n=220) were non-smokers, 13.8% of patients (n=52) smoke less than 10 cigarettes per day and 28.0% of patients (n=106) smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day. Improvement in sperm concentration and motility rates after varicocelectomy was determined to be lower in 10 or more cigarette smoking group compared to other groups. It is shown that cigarettes play a negative role in recovery process after varicocelectomy operation

    Suturaların erken kaynaşması kraniyosinostoz olarak adlandırılır. Çalışmamızda kafatasında ölçümler yapılarak, cerrahi operasyonlarda ameliyat yerinin tespit edilmesine yardımcı olmak ve literatüre katkı sağlanmak amaçlandı. Erciyes Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Anatomi Anabilim dalında yer alan 22 adet kafatası dijital kumpas ve mezura kullanılarak ölçümler yapıldı. Ölçülen parametereler sırasıyla: Sutura coronalis uzunluğu (SCU),Sutura sagittalis uzunluğu (SSU), Sutura lamboidea uzunluğu (SLU),Sağ-sol asterion arası mesafe (AAM), Sutura coronalis orta noktası (Bregma) – Sutura nasalis (Nasion) arası mesafe (BN), Nasion-Lambda arası mesafe (NLM), Nasion- İniondan geçen baş çevresi (NİBC), Lambda- İnion arası uzunluk (LİU), Pterion-Asterion arası Uzunluk (PAU), Asterion-İnion arası Uzunluk (AİU), Asterion- Prosesssus mastoideus arası mesafe (APM), Pterion- Prosesssus mastoideus arası mesafe (PMU), Pterion- İnion arası mesafe (PİM)’dir. Bu veriler IBM SPSS istatistik yazılımı (versiyon 15.0) kullanılarak hesaplama yapılmıştır. Yapılan ölçümlerimiz; PAU: 94.23±8.0-95.59±8.94 mm, AİU 71.97±9.85-67.55±8.42 mm, APM: 52.96±8.58-52.99± 9.19 mm, PMU: 86.68±11.37- 87.18±12.40 mm, PİM: 130.04±10.63-128.93±15.60 mm, SCU: 120.22±5.29 mm, SSU: 112.67± 8.71 mm, SLU: 153.95±26.18 mm, AAM: 106.91±14.19 mm, BN: 118.71± 19.44 mm, NLM: 162.16±15.12 mm, LİU:65.63±19.00, NİBC: 49.09± 1.37 cm olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, elde ettiğimiz cranium’a ait bu indeks değerlerinin beyin cerrahisinde klinisyenlere ve literatüre katkı sağlayacağını düşünmekteyiz

    Surgical Fixation with Cannulated Screws in the Adult Femoral Neck Fractures

    Aim: Femoral neck fractures are common injuries in orthopedic practice and result in significant morbidity and mortality. They are fractures in the intra-capsule area of the proximal femur. They usually occur in the elderly patient group. However, younger age groups could also experience femoral neck fractures as a result of high-energy traumas. The aim of the present study was to compare with the literature the outcomes in adult patients for whom surgical fixation was performed after femoral neck fracture using cannulated screws in our clinic.Materials and Methods: The study included patients for whom surgical fixation was performed for femoral neck fractures using cannulated screws between August 2010 and August 2012. Fracture non-union, delayed union, avascular necrosis and arthrosis were evaluated in patients. Avascular necrosis evaluation was performed using Ficat and Arlet classification. Functional outcomes were evaluated using Harris hip score.Results: The average follow-up period of our patients was 32 months (range: 24-48 months). Follow-ups indicated that 16 patients recovered without problems, walked with a double wand starting from about the third month with respect to the bone union status and full union was achieved in an average of six months. Non-union was observed in four patients. Ficat and Arlet avascular necrosis classification showed that four patients had avascular necrosis. The average time for these patients to be admitted to surgery was seven days. Five of our patients developed superficial wound infections. Antibiotic treatment and wound care were applied to our patients. When the patients were evaluated based on Harris hip score numerical rating chart, it was found that excellent outcomes were obtained in five patients, very good results in eight patients, good results in four patients, moderate results in two patients and poor results in one patient.Conclusion: Femoral neck fractures are a common type of injury in orthopedic practice and they result in significant morbidity and mortality when treated inappropriately. In order to reduce the rate of bone non-union, avascular necrosis or other complications that could be observed in patients who underwent surgical fixation after femoral neck fractures, and appropriate and acceptable reduction of femoral neck fracture should be realized as soon as possible, and stable fixation should be achieved

Muhasebe tarihi üzerine yayın yapan dergiler bibliometrix programında analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda Accounting History Dergisinin en fazla yayın yapan dergi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Derginin bibliyometrik analizinde en fazla yayının 28 makale ile 2022 yılında yapıldığı, derginin yıllık büyüme oranının %4.46, yayın başına ortalama atıf sayısının 11.4, dergide en çok yayın yapan yazarların Carnegie G.D. ve Gomes D. 9, Foreman P.     Synthesis, Antiproliferative Activity and In Silico Studies of Chalcones Derived From 4-(Imidazole-1-yl)Acetophenone

    In this study, the synthesis of chalcone compounds (1-11) derived from 4-(imidazol-1-yl)acetophenone and the structure determination of these compounds by various spectroscopic methods were carried out. The anticancer activities of compounds 1-11 were examined against HeLa and PC-3 cancer cells at four different concentrations (100, 50, 25, and 5 µM) using the BrdU ELISA assay. It was determined that all molecules except compounds 1 and 6 in HeLa cancer cells and compounds 2 and 8 against PC-3 cancer cells were more active against HeLa and PC-3 than the standard drug 5-fluorouracil (5-FU). The best activity against PC-3 cancer cells was compound 4 (IC50: 1.39±0.00 µM). In addition, compound 11 (IC50: 1.58±0.01 µM) was found to have the highest activity against HeLa cancer cells. Compound 4 against PC-3 cancer cell and compound 11 against HeLa cancer cell displayed cell selective activity. The ADME properties and drug similarities of the molecules 1-11 using the SwissADME software were investigated. According to these properties, compounds 1-11 were found to obey Lipinski rules

    Total secondary metabolites and heavy metal profile of some medicinal plants frequently consumed as winter tea

    In this study, sage (Salvia officinalis L.), linden (Tilia platyphyllos Scop.), and daisy (Matricaria chamomilla L.) herbs, which have rich phytochemical content and are frequently consumed in winter months for medicinal purposes, were obtained from three different herbalists located in Bingol and investigated in terms of their heavy metal contents, total flavonoid, total anthocyanin and total polyphenol contents. Some of the heavy metal (Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Hg, Pb) contents of the collected herb samples were determined by ICP-MS. Total flavonoid, total anthocyanin and total polyphenol contents were determined by analyzing spectrophotometric methods. While the total phenolic content was found the most in sage (S1) ethylacetate and methanol extracts (760.1±2.0, 410.33±1.5 mg GAE/g), it was found the least in linden (L1, L3) hexane extracts (6.66±.1.3, 8.35±0.8 mg GAE/g). It was determined that total flavonoid content and total anthocyanin contents were higher in sage (S1) ethylacetate (294.31±2.1 mg CE/g and 291.31±2.1 mg MvGE/g), sage (S2) methanol (375.0±1.9 mg CE/g and 139.01*±2.0 mg MvGE/g) extracts, and less in linden (L1) and daisy (D1) hexane extracts respectively. It was determined that Cr and Cu metals were among the values suitable for consumption in terms of health in all samples except the chamomile (D1, D3) samples, and Zn metals were among the values suitable for consumption in all samples except the linden (L2) sample. Furthermore, the toxic metal Cd (0.05±0.00- 0.09±0.00 ?g/g) in daisy (D1, D3) samples, as well as the other toxic metal Pb (4.50±0.01-6.43±0.01 ?g/g) in sage (S1,S2,S3) and linden (L1,L2,L3) samples, were found to be among the values suitable for consumption in terms of health. As a result, when the total anthocyanin, polyphenol and flavonoid contents were compared in all groups it was found that sage had the highest value in ethyl acetate extract. Additionally, Cu and Ni values of sage, and Fe and Pb values in both sage and linden were within safe limits in terms of health. They are of utmost importance in terms of supporting the daily mineral intake. However, As, Pb, and Hg were found to be toxic in daisy extract. This result can be shown as a result that the daisy will be a bioaccumulator. Therefore, consumption of daisy tea should be limited
