Students with Special Education Needs in Georgian Higher Educational Institutions: The Assessment of the Learning Environment
Get PDFკვლევის მიზანია წარმოაჩინოს სპეციალური საჭიროების მქონე და ასეთის არ მქონე სტუდენტების ჯგუფების შედარებითი სურათი სწავლის, სასწავლო გარემოს, აგრეთვე, სწავლითა და აკადემიური მიღწევებით სტუდენტთა კმაყოფილების თვალსაზრისით.
კვლევა ეყრდნობა ევროსოტუდენტი 8-ის საქართველოს ეროვნული კვლევის მონაცემთა ბაზას. კვლევის ინსტრუმენტს წარმოადგენდა ევროსტუდენტი 8-ის სტანდარტული თვითანგარიშის კითხვარს, რომლის ადმინისტრირებაც განხორცელდა ონლაინ 2021 წლის გაზაფხულის სემესტრში საქართველოს სხვადასხვა საგანმანათლებოლო დაწესებულებაში. კვლევის შერჩევისთვის გამოყენებულია 3207 ბაკალავრიატის სტუდენტის მონაცემები (1743 ქალი და 1464 კაცი), რომელთაგანაც 763 სტუდენტმა (490 ქალი და 272 კაცი) აღნიშნა სპეციალური საჭიროებების ქონა (ჯანმრთელობის გრძელვადიანი პრობლემები ან შეზღუდული შესაძლებლობები).
მონაცემები დამუშავდა SPSS-23 სტატისტიკური პროგრამით.
კვლევის შედეგად გამოვლინდა საქართველოს უმაღლეს საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულებებში არსებული ტენდენციები, კერძოდ, სპეციალური საჭიროების მქონე სტუდენტები ასეთის არ მქონე სტუდენტებისგან განსხვავებით, გაცილებით უფრო ნაკლებ მოტივაციას და სასარგებლო უკუკავშირს იღებენ ლექტორებისგან; უმაღლესი საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულება ნაკლებად ზრუნავს მათ აკადემიურ წარმატებასა და სოციალურ ინტეგრაციაზე; დაწესებულებასთან მათი მიკუთვნებულობისა და იდენტობის განცდა მცირეა. სპეციალური საჭიროების მქონე სტუდენტების უმეტესობა საკუთარ აკადემიურ მიღწევებს სხვა სტუდენტების მსგავსად აფასებს, თუმცა ისინი ადგილობრივ და საერთაშორისო შრომის ბაზარზე დასაქმების ნაკლებ შესაძლებლობას ხედავენ.
მნიშვენლოვანი განსხვავებაა სპეციალური საჭიროების მქონე და არ მქონე სტუდენტების სასწავლო პროგრამით კმაყოფილებისა და ბედნიერების დონის მიხედვით, კერძოდ, სპეციალური საჭიროების მქონე სტუდენტებში სასწავლო პროგრამით კმაყოფილი და ბედნიერი სტუდენტების წილი მცირეა.
კვლევამ გამოავლინა, რომ სპეციალური საჭიროების მქონე სტუდენტები უფრო ხშირად გრძნობენ თავს იზოლირებულად როგორც კურსელებისა და მეგობრებისაგან, ასევე ლექტორებისა და ადმინისტრაციისგან, ვიდრე სპეციალური საჭიროების არ მქონე სტუდენტები.
აღსანიშავია ისიც, რომ საქართველოს უმაღლეს საგანმანათლებო დაწესებულებებში, ზოგადად, საკმაოდ მცირეა სტუდენტთა დისკრიმინაცია ჯანმრთელობის მდგომარეობის გამო, თუმცა, ასეთი გამოცდილების მქონე სტუდენტების წილი გაცილებით უფრო დიდია სპეციალური საჭიროების მქონე სტუდენტებში, ვიდრე სპეციალური საჭიროების არ მქონე სტუდენტებში.

The authors of the essays are travelers or members of a scientific expedition organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences. The authors describe the daily life of the German colonists, the measures taken by the government and their attitude to the local authorities of the Russian Empire, the existing language situation, the reasons for the emigration of Germans, their attitude to religion, the influence of the German colonies on the local population, the importance of the colonies in the economy of the country, and others. The opinions of the authors are different depending on their political views and the period of their stay in Georgia. Reports of foreign authors are interesting material for studying the history of German colonies in Georgia

government and the factors influencing them. It is shown that the growing problem of the sovereign
debt of industrialized countries poses a threat not only to these countries, but also to global
economic stability and security.
Based on data from the US Treasury, the article analyzes the reasons for the decline in the
interest of foreign financial investors in US treasury securities.
According to the US Department of the Treasury, which refers to the end of October 2022,
foreign holders of US Treasury securities accounted for 3.65 trillion, that is, about half. It is worth noting that from October 2021 to October 2022,
the amount of US debt held by foreigners decreased by 6 percent, or $459 billion. On an annualized
basis, such a large-scale reduction in the foreign portfolio of US securities has not been observed
before. This decrease occurred against the backdrop of an increase in the key rate of the US Federal
Reserve starting from March 2022, which also meant an increase in interest rates on US Treasury
securities. In the spring of last year, it was assumed that due to the increase in the yield of US
financial instruments, there would be an additional influx of foreign capital into America, but US
Treasury securities failed to become attractive to foreign financial investors
A Newly Found Manuscript: Commentary on Psalm 50 (Miserere Mei)

Dedicated to Memory of Academician Zaza Aleksidze (1935 – 2023)The largest collections of Georgian manuscripts are kept in the Georgian National
Centre of Manuscripts, as well as in other museums and book repositories both in Georgia
and abroad. Some manuscript books are also preserved in private collections.
In this article, we present one of the manuscripts held in a private collection in Tbilisi
-“Commentary on Psalm 50.” The manuscript was translated from the Armenian language
in the first third of the 19th century, specifically in 1821, by priest Egnate Ioseliani. The
size of the book is 375x230 mm, and it includes 246 folios. The manuscript is complete.
The text consists of a preface (6r–13r) and 22 chapters (15r–240r), all titled. This newly
found manuscript is Egnate Ioseliani’s autograph of the “Commentary on Psalm 50;”
given the codicological characteristics of the manuscript, we conclude that this is his draft
version.
Egnate Ioseliani (1766-1843) was one of the prominent clergymen of the 18th-19th
centuries of Georgia and served at St. George Court’s Church during the reign of the last
king of Kartl-Kakheti, George the XII (1798-1800). Ioseliani was close to the king and
actively participated in Court life. He was a skilled writer, knew Armenian, and often
helped the King communicate with the representatives of the Armenian Church. After the
death of King George, Ioseliani was among those who tried to maintain the independence
of the kingdom, but unsuccessfully, as subsequently it was abolished by Alexander I in
1801. Georgia then became the governorate of the Russian Empire. The dramatic events
that unfolded in Georgia in the first third of the 19th century did not prevent Ioseliani
from being active in his literary career; in the National Center of Manuscripts in Tbilisi,
there are 21 manuscripts related to his name.
In order to define the place and significance of Egnate Ioseliani's “Commentary on
Psalm 50” in the Georgian literary heritage, we looked for all manuscripts with the same
title in the book repositories of Georgia. As a result, we found only four in the collections
of the National Centre of Manuscripts (S-3029 b, S-2548, S-3644, and Q-1439).
Based on this search, we conclude that Egnate Ioseliani is not the only one among the
18th–19th century figures interested in the exegesis of Psalm 50. According to the
description, manuscript S-3644, “Commentary on Miserere Mei,” was considered to be
the original work of Katholikos Anton I. But now we can prove that, in reality, it is a
compilation made by an unknown author, where each verse is accompanied by the
commentaries of the three prominent Church fathers, Cyril of Alexandria, Athanasius the
Great, and Hesychius of Jerusalem. We think that the “Commentary on Miserere Mei,” written by Anton I, is lost, and probably, as P. Ioseliani indicates, we should look for it in
the fond of the Synod archive of the Russian State Archives.
The newly found manuscript examined in this paper, “Commentary on Psalm 50,” is
preserved in a private collection; we conclude that it is the autograph of Egnate Ioseliani.
It is the complete draft version of “Commentary.” Two other incomplete autographs of
Egnate Ioseliani preserved in the National Center of Manuscripts, namely, manuscripts
S-3029 b (which contains the preface and two chapters) and Q-1439 (which contains the
preface and 13 chapters), are white pages of the complete text of the “Commentary.” As
for the manuscript S-2548, we believe that it represents a later, literary adaptation of the
complete text of the “Commentary on Psalm 50,” translated from Armenian by Egnate
Ioseliani. Thus, the Armenian source that Ioseliani used and the author of manuscript
S-2548 remain to be determined

On the Place of Forms of Address in a Georgian Compound Sentence
Get PDFIt is widely known that forms of address are not syntactically
related to any member of the sentence, yet, they form part
of the sentence.
Unlike simple sentences or sentences with multiple parts,
special attention should be paid to the forms of address in a
compound sentence, in particular, we should analyze the following:
which part of the sentence does the form of address pertain
to? Does the form of address pertain to the entire compound
sentence or to some of its concrete component clause?
In this regard, the paper analyzes compound sentences
containing forms of address. The following cases have been distinguished:
a) Address forms part of one of the clauses of the compound
sentence and it is semantically related to all the other clauses:
დაწყნარდი ახლა, შე ქალო, შენს თავსაც გაუფრთხილდი,
სამარეში ხომ არ ჩაჰყვები dats’q’nardi, še kalo, šens tavsats
gauprtxildi, samareši xom ar zahqęvebi “Calm down, woman, take
care of yourself, you cannot follow him into his grave”.
b) Each component of a compound sentence has its own
form of address pertaining to the clause in which it is found:
იშრიალე, დიდო ვერხვო, იგუგუნე, დედამიწავ! išriale, dido verxvo,
igugune, dedamits’av! “Rustle, great aspen, roar, mother
earth!” c) One and the same form of address can be repeated in various
components of the compound sentence with the aim of
performing an expressive function. Such cases are chiefly found
in poetry: ქარო, მოიტა ატმის ყვავილი, ქარო, ფოთლებიც
შემომაყარე karo, moit’a at’mis q’vavili, karo, potlebits šemomaqřare
“Wind, bring peach flowers, wind, throw leaves at me”.
d) Separate mention should be made of cases when forms
of address are found within one component of a compound sentence
and are not related to other components: შენ არ გაი-
ტეხო გული, შვილო, სანთელი და საკმეველი გზას არ დაკარგავს
šen ar gait’exo guli, švilo, santeli da sak’meveli gzas ar dak’argavs
“Don’t be disappointed, child, a candle and incense are never
burnt in vain”.

Planning them properly and implementation is important to ensure effective marketing management and achievement of set goals in the company. The purpose of the article is to study the attitudes of consumers towards the events carried out by Georgian companies. We used the form of an online survey, which is currently quite effective.
Events play a major role in forming impressions of a company and its brands. Those companies that intelligently manage and implement events contribute to the formation of their positive image and increase in the promotion of their brands.
Events are used by many subjects to impress other people. Business entities can gain goodwill from their target market by making a good impression on the public. With its correct planning and implementation, the company will receive economic benefits. In the article, the authors discuss the problems associated with conducting events, present the main results of the conducted research and recommendations in the direction of increasing the effectiveness of the use of events
