Role of Emotional Intelligence in Conflict Resolution and Prevention in Colombia
Purpose: To aim of the study was to analyze role of emotional intelligence in conflict resolution and prevention in Colombia.
Methodology: This study adopted a desk methodology. A desk study research design is commonly known as secondary data collection. This is basically collecting data from existing resources preferably because of its low cost advantage as compared to a field research. Our current study looked into already published studies and reports as the data was easily accessed through online journals and libraries.
Findings: Research shows power dynamics and organizational justice significantly impact conflict outcomes and satisfaction. Power imbalances exacerbate conflicts, leading to dissatisfaction. Unequal power distribution can escalate conflicts due to perceived unfairness. Conversely, organizational justice fosters positive outcomes and higher satisfaction levels. Fostering equitable power dynamics and promoting justice mitigate conflict and enhance satisfaction.
Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: Social cognitive theory, emotional labor theory & affective events theory may be used to anchor future studies on the role of emotional intelligence in conflict resolution and prevention in Colombia. Organizations should implement targeted emotional intelligence training programs aimed at enhancing employees\u27 conflict resolution skills. Policy-makers should advocate for the inclusion of emotional intelligence competencies in leadership development programs and training initiatives
Cross-Border Water Management in Transboundary River conflicts in Palestine
Purpose: The aim of the study was to analyze cross-border water management in transboundary river conflicts in Palestine.
Methodology: This study adopted a desk methodology. A desk study research design is commonly known as secondary data collection. Developing robust legal and institutional frameworks at both national and international levels is crucial for resolving transboundary river conflicts and promoting cooperation
Enhancing Software Quality through Early-Phase of Software Verification and Validation Techniques
Purpose: The core objectives of this conducted research were threefold: first, to assess whether early-phase verification and validation (V&V)techniques, encompassing software design review, code review, and inspection, significantly contribute to defect prevention throughout the software development process; second, to evaluate the impact of these techniques on the efficiency of software development in terms of time, cost, and resource allocation; and third, to conduct a comprehensive comparative analysis between early-phase verification and validation (V&V)techniques and traditional post-development testing regarding their effectiveness in defect prevention and software quality improvement.
Methodology: Employing an experimental approach, this study conducted case studies within Tanzanian software development organizations. Data were meticulously gathered through surveys and interviews involving software professionals. Both quantitative and qualitative data were systematically analyzed to ensure data reliability and ethical considerations.
Findings: The research findings indicate that early-phase verification and validation (V&V) techniques shine as powerful tools for defect prevention, leading to a substantial reduction in defect counts and elevating software quality metrics, such as reliability and user satisfaction. Notably, these techniques demonstrated a favorable impact on software development efficiency by shortening development cycles and curtailing costs. When compared to traditional post-development testing, early-phase verification and validation (V&V) techniques consistently outperformed in the realm of defect prevention and software quality enhancement.
Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: The study\u27s outcomes underscore the transformative potential of early-phase verification &validation techniques, urging the software development industry to pivot from defect detection to defect prevention. The insights garnered here offer practical guidance for organizations aiming to streamline their software development processes, economize costs, and deliver top-notch software products that closely align with user expectations. While conducted in a Tanzanian context, these findings reverberate across the global software development landscape, underscoring the universal relevance of early-phase verification and validation (V&V) techniques as pivotal enablers of software quality assurance and operational efficiency

The Influence of Applying Human Resource Training Needs Analysis on Employee\u27s Performance
Purpose: This study investigates the influence of applying Training needs analysis (TNA) on employee performance. The research is developed to explain the influence of the factors of TNA on the final employees\u27 job performance.
Methodology: A correlational research design of mixed method qualitative and quantitative has been done that comprehensive review of relevant academic and empirical literature was conducted to start the research. Subsequently, an online survey was administered to employees of two prominent private banks in the UAE. These combined approaches aimed to provide a solid study base and collect perspectives from a wide range of participants in the banking industry in the United Arab Emirates. Through an online survey with 21 questions, participants rated their perspectives on HR practices, training, and demographic details. The survey, distributed via email and QR code scanning, obtained responses from 184 out of 5773 employees (3.18% response rate). Data underwent rigorous checks and cleaning for accuracy and validity. The analysis, performed using XLSTAT, aims to assess the effectiveness of TNA in shaping employee attitudes and performance outcomes.
Findings: The results suggest that TNA practices such as identifying training impact, training type, and training impacts significantly affect employees\u27 performance. The findings expand the understanding of how the factors of TNA practices reinforce employees\u27 job performance. The results have practical implications for human resource managers, which will help support and develop employee job performance and ultimately support business growth.
Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: This study uniquely contributes to theory, practice, and policy in training and development by addressing a critical gap in existing literature. It explores and tests the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) process, focusing on three key factors: training type, goal, and impact. The study develops a holistic framework that integrates these dimensions, offering a more comprehensive understanding than previous studies examining isolated TNA elements. Practical implications include a roadmap for HR managers to use the TNA system effectively, aligning training programs with employee needs for optimal results. From a policy perspective, the study advocates for strategic emphasis on TNA dimensions in organizational training policies, highlighting the importance of leadership in fostering a culture of continuous learning. While affirming the positive link between TNA practices and employee satisfaction, the study acknowledges limitations. It suggests avenues for future research, paving the way for more nuanced investigations into TNA dynamics and their impact on employee performance
