A gyógypedagógiai pszichológiai állapotmegismerés gyakorlati tapasztalatai
Two staff members and leaders of the National Pedagogical Assistance Service of Eötvös Loránd University (hereinafter: ELTE GYOPSZ) summarize their institutional experiences of the last more than ten years of condition assessment practice. The ELTE GYOPSZ, due to its unique tasks, provides services for the whole life span in public education and higher education, in line with the special teaching-psychological-medical model. The study attempts to discuss the main phenomena and dilemmas of the decade, the experience of a significant number of case management, the changes in legislation affecting the diagnostic and care system, from the assessment to the determination of entitlement to special treatment and disability, presenting the often-different approaches of the multi-stakeholder process.

Herczeg Ferenc első drámája, A dolovai nábob leánya 1893-ban került bemutatásra a budapesti Nemzeti Színház színpadán. A darab befogadástörténete ugyanakkor rendelkezik egy bécsi fejezettel is. Herczeg Emlékezéseiben kifejtette, hogyan alakult át a színműve – részben a saját közreműködésével – a bécsi közönség előtt Bernhard Buchbinder osztrák újságíró és színpadi szerző Die dritte Escadron című darabjává.

Future Skills in Education: Psychologists’ Views on the Skills of the Future from the Perspective of Individual Well-Being
One of the contemporary challenges of education is to prepare children to deal with problems that they will face in adulthood – but many of these problems are not yet known. To address this situation, frameworks for education have been developed relating to the skills needed. Most of these frameworks focus on the presumed needs of the future labour market. This paper describes a survey in which future skills were examined in terms of the individual’s ability to lead a successful, balanced and fulfilling life. During the survey, we reviewed the relevant frameworks (based on the relevant literature) and conducted interviews in five countries with psychologists familiar with children’s cognitive and affective development about the challenges that can be expected. In the light of these interviews, it was possible to outline the skills that would need to be developed between the ages of 6 and 10, and – based on these skills – to formulate the expectations that development activities should meet. The main goal was to outline the frames of skill development in the light of an unpredictably changing social, cultural and technological environment. This work undergirded our further task: to elaborate a methodology and a toolkit to match the development objectives
Nodes, ties, and theories: Some Considerations on the Correlation between Historical Network Models and the Social Complexity of the Medieval Past
In the last twenty years, the number of studies applying historical network analysis has grown significantly, in part due to the general “boom” in the digital humanities (although network analysis pre-dates the “digital turn”). Yet how can manifold social interactions be modelled as ties and individuals as nodes in a network for the purpose of quantitative analysis? Many historians approach network analysis in the face of significant amounts of digital data primarily from a quantitative perspective, trying to master the concepts, the mathematics, and the software. But one may ask, how can we perceive the actual correlations between network models and graphs and the social realities of the past? The paper presents some theoretical frameworks for this purpose. First, it examines three of the most elaborate concepts in “relational sociology” by Harrison C. White, Bruno Latour, and Niklas Luhmann. Second, it concentrates on attempts to combine Luhmann’s systems theory with network theory, and some implications for historical medieval network analysis are suggested. Finally, the main points are summed up
Human and Nonhuman Animals in Sándor Márai’s Peace in Ithaca
This paper on Sándor Márai’s 1952 novel Béke Ithakában [Peace in Ithaca] centres on the political zoology of the Third Book . It shows that in this case Márai questions the nature of man and the difference between man and animal more sharply than in his earlier works—not independently of his experiences of the totalitarian regimes of the twentieth century and WW II. In the novel, the ancient bucolic tradition is the vehicle for these issues, which also correspond to contemporary developments in European thought.
