Factors Influencing Female Entrepreneurship
No full textThe following research was conducted with the objective of identifying the factors that influence women to become entrepreneurs. It explores the effectiveness of support mechanisms, including mentorship programs, networking opportunities, access to financial resources, and policy interventions in enhancing the success of female entrepreneurs. Special attention is given to the decision-making threshold concept and the role of self-confidence. A multi-method approach was employed, entailed a comprehensive literature review, a qualitative analysis based on interviews, and a quantitative analysis conducted through surveys. The data obtained from these methods were triangulated to ensure robust insights. The research resulted in a model that illustrates the interrelationship between the scientific, practical and educational approaches. The findings highlight the potential of developing a motivation model for female decision-making in entrepreneurship, identifying key motivators, focusing on economic, social and personal factors with self-confidence as a central concept of study

Full text linkEgy színpadi mű vagy mozgókép esetében az ismert drámairodalmi vagy irodalmi alap kifejezett előnyt jelenthet, egy színházi előadás esetében azonban a filmes előkép már korántsem olyan egyértelmű nézőcsalogató. A 2024-2025-ben a Csokonai Nemzeti Színház Debrecen programkínálatában feltűnően megszaporodott azon előadások száma, melyek elsősorban külföldön, de nem egy esetben hazánkban is ismertek a nagyvászonról, de akad olyan is, melynek ugyan nem készült még filmváltozata, dramaturgiájával mégis egy közkedvelt, ma is méltán népszerű filmes irányzatot vetített elő már születésekor. A továbbiakban ezen előadásokból szemezgetek, a teljesség igénye nélkül.

No full textOur research involved nearly 800 ninth-grade secondary school students (aged 14-15) during the first weeks of the 2023/2024 school year. Less than 40% of students solved the text problems related to common fractions and percentages correctly. In terms of student solutions, pupils showed a higher success rate when the text of the problem contained common fractions, and the solution had to be given as a percentage. In this case, the success rate of switching between different symbolic representations of rational numbers (common fraction, percentage) was also higher. Observation of the methods used to solve also suggests that the majority of students are not flexible enough when it comes to switching between different representations.

A SPORT MENTÁLIS KEMÉNYSÉG ÖSSZEHASONLÍTÓ ELEMZÉSE NEMZETKÖZI ÉS MAGYAR KOSÁRLABDÁZÓKNÁL
No full textIn our research, we compared the mental results of Hungarian basketball players to international averages. We examined the degree of mental toughness of the athletes who filled out the SMTQ questionnaire, whether they are motivated to achieve success, and whether they maintain their self-confidence (even despite occasional failures). Our goal was to indicate Hungarian athletes' mental strengths and weaknesses, thus helping the athletes' preparation. The aggregate mental toughness scores indicated that Hungarian basketball players are above the international average. Still, in terms of control, it is below average in certain age groups. The adult age group (over 18 years of age) is recommended to develop autonomy and responsibility and maintain self-control. It is necessary to improve the influence of their behavior, emotions, and self-regulation. Confidence scores assume that respondents believe in themselves and their successes. They have a positive attitude and a failure-averse attitude. Endurance results will likely be goal-oriented athletes who do not give up and can maintain their motivation.Kutatásunk során hazai, magyar kosárlabdázók mentális eredményeit hasonlítottuk össze a nemzetközi átlagokhoz képest. Megvizsgáltuk, hogy az SMTQ kérdőívet kitöltő sportolók milyen fokú mentális keménységet mutatnak, rendelkeznek-e motivációval a siker eléréshez, megfelelő-e az önbizalmuk fenntartása (akár az alkalmi kudarcok ellenére is). Célunk, hogy kimutassuk a magyar mentális sportolói erősségeket és gyengeségeket, segítve ezzel a sportolók felkészülését és eredményességét. A mentális keménység összesített pontszámai arra következtetnek, hogy a kérdőívet kitöltő magyar kosárlabdázók mentális keménysége nemzetközi átlag feletti, kontroll tekintetében azonban bizonyos korosztályoknál átlag alatti. A nagykorú (18 év feletti) korosztály fejlesztésre javasolt autonómia és felelősségvállalás, valamint az önuralmuk megőrzése terén. Javítani szükséges a viselkedésük és érzelmeik befolyásolását, ugyanakkor az önszabályozásukat is. A magabiztossági pontszámok feltételezik, hogy a kitöltők hisznek magukban és sikereikben. Pozitív hozzáállással és kudarckerülő magatartással rendelkeznek. A kitartási eredmények céltudatos sportolókat valószínűsítenek, akik nem adják fel és képesek fenntartani motivációjukat
PERCEPTION OF GENDER DIFFERENCES IN COMBAT SPORTS
Full text linkFor a long time, relatively few studies have investigated sports from a gender perspective. Male dominance was prevalent until the 1960s. By the 1960s, women had already been present in sports, where male dominance and their achievements were unquestionable. At the same time, most research has been prompted to take a more critical view, condemning women's sports as inferior. The most typical reason for excluding women from sports is that they are less physically capable than men. Female athletes may have suffered injuries that make them unable to perform various social tasks. These social tasks may include aesthetic appearance, childbirth, and proper household care. Metheny explored these ideologies, theories, and articles in her work 'Connotations of the Sport and Dance Movements,' published in 1965. The researcher attempted to divide sports into three gender categories. Several Hungarian studies have recently been carried out regarding sports and gender perception. This research investigates the perception of gender-related issues in combat sport athletes. What is considered a distinctly masculine sport, and how does gender determine this?

Full text linkIn dieser Rezension analysiere ich die Monografie von A. Ju. Sorotschan, die im Jahr 2024 veröffentlicht wurde. Der Autor ist Philologe, Professor an der Staatlichen Universität Twer, und beschäftigt sich mit Literaturgeschichte und -theorie. Im Mittelpunkt seiner Doktorarbeit mit dem Titel „Motivierung im russischen historischen Roman der 1830–1840er Jahre“ stand eine einzigartige Verbindung von historischem und literaturwissenschaftlichem Ansatz. Die analysierte Monografie, die thematisch eng mit Sorotschans Dissertation verwandt ist, besteht aus drei Teilen: Im ersten Teil spricht der Autor allgemein über Reiseliteratur, der zweite Abschnitt ist den Werken der russischen Literatur gewidmet, und im dritten Kapitel finden sich Rezensionen zu Büchern über Reiseliteratur. Im Rahmen dieses kritischen Artikels analysiere ich die Eigenschaften des historischen und imagologischen Ansatzes in Sorotschans Zugang zur Reiseliteratur.The present review analyzes the monograph of A. Y. Sorochan, published in 2024. The author is a philologist, a professor at Tver State University who specializes in the history and theory of literature. He defended his doctoral dissertation titled “Motivation in the Russian Historical Novel of the 1830s–1840s”, which focuses on a unique combination of historical and literary approaches. This monograph is thematically close to Sorochan's dissertation and consists of three parts: in the first the author speaks generally about travel literature; the second section is devoted to works of Russian literature; and the third section contains reviews of books on travel literature. In this critical article, the specificity of historical and imagological approaches in Sorochan's work on travel literature is analyzed.В данной рецензии я анализирую монографию А.Ю. Сорочана, которая была опубликована в 2024 году. Автор является филологом, профессором Тверского государственного университета, специалистом по истории и теории литературы. В центре его докторской диссертации под названием «Мотивировка в русском историческом романе 1830-1840-х гг.» находится уникальное сочетание исторического и литературного подходов. Анализируемая монография, которая по теме близка к диссертации Сорочана, состоит из трёх частей: в первой автор в целом говорит о литературе путешествий, второй раздел посвящён произведениям русской литературы, а в третьей главе представлены рецензии на книги о литературе путешествий. В рамках критической статьи я рассматриваю свойства исторического и имагологического подходов к литературе путешествий Сорочана
