Die Rezension befasst sich mit dem neuen Buch der ungarischen Forscherin Annamária Vass über den Paradigmenwechsel in der russischen Literatur. Das Buch analysiert detailliert die literarischen und kulturellen Veränderungen, die Mitte der 1980er Jahre einsetzten, und beleuchtet, wie sich der sozialistische Realismus zum Postmodernismus wandelte. Annamária Vass konzentriert sich auf das Verständnis der Merkmale des Postmodernismus und gibt einen spannenden historischen Überblick darüber, wie der sozialistische Realismus allmählich seine dominante Stellung verlor. The volume analyses in detail the literary and cultural changes that began in the mid-1980s, shedding light on how socialist realism was transformed into postmodernism. Annamária Vass focuses on understanding the characteristics of postmodernism and provides a fascinating historical overview of how socialist realism gradually lost its dominance. By analysing the works of Yevgeny Popov and Vasily Aksyonov demonstrate the specific characteristics of postmodern literature. The volume provides an excellent overview of this chaotic period of Russian literature.В рецензии рассматривается новая книга венгерской исследовательницы Аннамарии Вашш, посвящённая смене парадигмы в русской литературе. Книга подробно анализирует литературные и культурные изменения, начавшиеся в середине 1980-х годов, рассматривая трансформацию социалистического реализма в постмодернизм. Аннамария Вашш сосредоточивается на изучении особенностей постмодернизма и предлагает увлекательный исторический обзор того, как социалистический реализм постепенно утратил своё господствующее положение. Das Buch von Jangfeldt Wir und sie: Die Geschichte der „russischen Idee“ wurde im Jahr 2024 in ungarischer Sprache veröffentlicht. Der Autor ist ein schwedischer Schriftsteller und Übersetzer aus dem Russischen sowie Dozent am Lehrstuhl für Slawische Sprachen der Universität Stockholm. Ziel dieser Rezension ist es, aufzuzeigen, welche ideologischen und philosophischen Strömungen in Jangfeldts Buch behandelt werden und wie all dies die russische Geschichte und Kultur in den letzten 300 Jahren beeinflusst hat.Jangfeldt's book Us and Them: History of the "Russian idea" was published in Hungarian translation in 2024. The author is a Swedish writer and translator from Russian, associate professor of Slavic languages at Stockholm University. The aim of the review is to show what ideological and philosophical currents Jangfeldt's book discusses, and how all of these have influenced Russian history and culture in the past 300 years.Книга Янгфельдта «Мы и они: история „русской идеи“» была издана на венгерском языке в 2024 году. Автор — шведский писатель и переводчик с русского языка, доцент кафедры славянских языков Стокгольмского университета. A Közép-Tisza-vidék tölgy-kőris-szil ligeterdeinek (Fraxino pannonicae-Ulmetum) maradványai
The present study discusses the community relations of the oak-ash-elm woodlands (Fraxino pannonicae-Ulmetum Soó in Aszód 1935 corr. Soó 1963) of the Middle-Tisza region based on 20 coenological recordings. This is an azonal association moderately influenced by groundwater. Its stands represent an impoverished form compared with the woodlands of the Upper-Tisza region. However, its noteworthy species include the following: Acer platanoides, A. pseudoplatanus, A. tataricum, Aegopodium podagraria, Arum orientale, Carduus crispus, Carex remota, C. sylvatica, Carpinus betulus, Cephalanthera longifolia, Cerasus avium, Corydalis cava, Dryopteris carthusiana, D. filix-mas, Elymus caninus, Epipactis helleborine agg., Fagus sylvatica, Gagea lutea, Hedera helix, Fraxinus angustifolia ssp. danubialis, Melica altissima, Moehringia trinervia, Myosotis sparsiflora, Neottia nidus-avis, Ornithogalum brevistylum, Padus avium, Platanthera bifolia, Ranunculus auricomus, Ribes rubrum, Stachys sylvatica, Tilia platyphyllos, T. tomentosa, Ulmus laevis, Viburnum opulus, Viola reichenbachiana stb. Jelen tanulmány a Közép-Tisza-vidék tölgy-kőris-szil ligeterdeinek (Fraxino pannonicae-Ulmetum Soó in Aszód 1935 corr. Soó 1963) társulási viszonyait mutatja be 20 cönológiai felvétel alapján. Talajvíz által mérsékelten befolyásolt, azonális asszociációval állunk szemben. Állományai a Felső-Tisza-vidék ligeterdeihez képest egy elszegényedett változatot képviselnek. Effects of wastewater irrigation on soil physico-chemical properties and vegetables quality: A review
This study analyses the use of raw urban wastewater for irrigation and its effects on soil characteristics and heavy metal pollution within crops. There is rampant use of urban waste water by small scale urban vegetable farmers in Zimbabwe. This is posing health hazards to the consumers of urban vegetables and decrease in soil functioning. The significance of this study was to appraise the research study related to the use of urban waste water to answer the research question: What is the impact of waste water on selected soil physico-chemical properties and quantities of heavy metals in vegetables irrigated with waste water? A systematic review of 3100 articles from PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar (2010–2024) was performed within PRISMA guidelines. After excluding irrelevant studies, 49 from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Egypt, India, Pakistan, China, Saudi Arabia, and DRC were selected for analysis. These countries were found to have a lot of literature on urban waste water irrigation. This literature review identified an overview of existing literature on urban waste water irrigation and synthesise findings to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic The results showed (P<0.05) soil properties changed significantly: pH (6.0–7.0 to 4.5–5.5), electrical conductivity (0.2–0.4 to 1.5–2.0 dS/m), organic matter (2–3% to 4–6%), cation exchange capacity (10–15 to 20–25 meq/100g) all aligning with the intended outcomes. The level of nutrients (N, P, K) shifted alongside the source of wastewater. Soil also accumulated heavy metals (Zn, Cd, Pb, Fe, Mn, Cu) while the crops accumulated unsafe levels of Pb (2.5 mg/kg), Cd (1.2 mg/kg), and Cr (3.1 mg/kg) which surpassed WHO/FAO limits. The results highlighted the concern for health and environmental hazards. Treatment of the wastewater, monitoring of the soil, and stricter guidelines are needed for safe agricultural practice

Family-School Partnership in Supporting Level 4 Students at a Community Education and Training College
Family-school partnership is essential for achieving quality school and academic performance to level 4 students at a Community Education and Training (CET) College. The partnership comprises the ability of families and schools to provide holistic support and guidance to students as they progress toward independence and becoming responsible community members themselves. However, this is not prevalent in the majority of CET centres, particularly those in low-income communities (Madzinga, 2021). This study explored the role of different stakeholders within the CET Colleges in enhancing family-school partnership and supporting level 4 students. The current study intends to assist schools/centres with strategies that could be used by the centres to involve families and communities to enhance the academic performance of students in the CET College. This study was underpinned by the interpretivism paradigm. Data was gathered using semi-structured individual interviews. Epstein's model of school, family, and community interaction served as the foundation for the study. The idea was deemed appropriate for this study because it promotes parental and family involvement through mutual collaboration among many stakeholders. The findings of this study show that families want to be involved in their children's education, but they don't have the time owing to various commitments

Innovative Strategies and Student Academic Performance: Machine Learning Insights on International Students in Chinese Universities
The higher education sector in China has faced unprecedented challenges recently due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The influx of international students, a vital component of the nation's academic landscape, presented distinct challenges, including maintaining academic achievements through various online platforms, which necessitated innovative strategies to ensure that their educational pursuits remained rewarding despite these challenges. This study aims to explore the innovative strategies adopted by Chinese higher education institutions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and examine their impact on the academic achievements of international students. This study employs a comprehensive approach that incorporates questionnaire surveys and dominant Machine Learning Algorithms, such as Multiple Linear Regression (MLR), Decision Tree Model (DTM), Support Vector Regression Model (SVRM), and K-nearest neighbors (KNN). By employing rigorous data-gathering approaches, our study aimed to address a set of particular questions: How did these innovative strategies improve students' academic performance in the face of environmental emergencies? To what extent did international students benefit from these adaptations? Through investigation of these concerns, our research provides insight into the effectiveness of these strategies and their possible significance for future educational methodologies. Innovative strategies positively correlated with student academic performance during the COVID-19 pandemic in Chinese higher Education. This research highlights how overcoming these challenges can have broader implications for shaping resilient global education systems in future crises. The study accurately predicted academic performance, highlighting the importance of innovative teaching approaches in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study might influence educational policies and practices. Educational institutions can make informed decisions about emergency preparedness and development by assessing results using a creative approach. Our findings bring depth to the global conversation on higher Education under challenging circumstances, showing how Innovation might alleviate the adverse impacts on international students' learning experiences
