THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SERVANT LEADERSHIP TRAITS AND GLOBAL LEADERSHIP TRAITS AMONG MANAGERS IN MALAYSIAN MANUFACTURING COMPANIES
Full text linkThis study investigates the relationship between servant leadership and global leadership using a correlational cross-sectional quantitative research design. A sample of 330 organizational managers from central Peninsula Malaysia was analyzed using two established instruments to measure servant leadership and global leadership traits. The research focuses on the interplay between servant leadership attributes—such as altruistic calling, emotional healing, wisdom, persuasive mapping, and organizational stewardship—and global leadership competencies, including cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, and managing complexity. The statistical analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between servant leadership traits and global leadership competencies. These findings offer valuable insights into the role of servant leadership in enhancing global leadership effectiveness across diverse organizational contexts
EMERGING FIELDS OF TOURISM MANAGEMENT: SMART TOURISM-THE FUTURE DIRECTION OF TOURISM
Full text linkWith the emergence of the new concept of "smart tourism", people have new ways of traveling. This article mainly reviews three aspects that have been hotly discussed in the past, namely ICT and big data, smart cities, and smart destinations, which are closely related to smart tourism, and combines the case of China New Oriental Group to explore the impact of the tourism industry on the future direction of tourism management and people's lives. The research results of this article show that smart tourism will bring more obvious changes and experiences to people's lives, especially in terms of effectively improving tourism experience and improving operational efficiency. There are also some limitations in the research process of this study, and the author also puts forward some constructive suggestions for the future development direction of smart tourism

Full text linkKepuasan pelanggan terhadap restoran mamak menjadi fokus utama untuk menarik pelanggan datang ke restoran dan seterusnya datang kembali selepas mendapat perkhidmatan yang memuaskan hati mereka. Pada masa kini, kebanyakan pelanggan yang datang makan di restoran mamak mempunyai pendedahan dan pengetahuan tentang kualiti perkhidmatan yang diberi melalui pelbagai sumber. Berdasarkan beberapa kajian lepas, pelanggan di restoran percaya mereka mempunyai pengetahuan yang tinggi tentang perkhidmatan yang diberi oleh pekerja seperti kebersihan makanan yang dihidangkan kepada mereka di restoran mamak. Pelanggan juga percaya bahawa restoran yang dikunjungi harus mempunyai layanan yang baik dari pekerja untuk menjadi tarikan kepada mereka datang kembali ke restoran tersebut. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kepada cara penyediaan makanan yang dilakukan di restoran tersebut, pekerja yang menghormati dan melayan pelanggan dengan baik dan tahap kebersihan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan di restoran mamak di Masjid Tanah, Melaka. Responden kajian terdiri daripada pelanggan yang pernah mendapatkan perkhidmatan di restoran berkenaan di Masjid Tanah, Melaka. Kajian ini diharap mampu membantu terutamanya pihak industri perkhidmatan makanan untuk melaksanakan dan meneruskan perkhidmatan yang berkualiti kepada pelanggan untuk menjamin kepuasan hati mereka dan menjalankan operasi restoran dengan lebih baik, teratur dan sistemetik
SURVIVAL UNDERSTANDING OF ALL-DOMAIN TOURISM IN HUANGSHAN CITY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF RESIDENCE
Full text linkIn the context of booming tourism industry, the concept of all-domain tourism has gradually replaced the traditional concept of scenic spot tourism. Based on the perspective of residence, this paper takes Huangshan City as an example to explore the existentially understanding of all-domain tourism. Through in-depth investigation and analysis, it is found that the existentially understanding of all-domain tourism lies in the coexistence of urban and rural residences and the harmony between tourism development and local residents' lives. A LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ON TANJUNG RAMBUTAN TOWN RESIDENT REGARDING MENTAL HEALTH
Full text linkThrough analysis of 122,328 calls received between January 1st and June 18th, 2021, an overwhelming 89.4% of these calls, or 199,806 calls, sought assistance for mental health issues, necessitating urgent counselling and emotional support.The primary aim of this study is to investigate and evaluate the level of knowledge concerning mental health among the residents of Tanjung Rambutan. A cross-sectional quantitative descriptive research approach using correlation design wad conducted through the MHKQ and PDD questionnaires among Tanjung Rambutan town residents. Amidst the study execution from March 29th, 2023, to July 7th, 2023, the self-administered questionnaire was distributed via Google form link and hard copy, and 269 respondents responded. Descriptive and inferential analyses were employed. A total of 269 respondent’s participants in this study, of whom 63.2% were male and 36.8% were female. 45.7% of respondents were in the range 36-45 years old. And 63.2% were Malay and Muslim. The majority were private employee, and most of the respondents have an academic background with a degree. Based on the study’s findings, 91.8% of respondents had a high knowledge level, while 8.2% had a low knowledge level. This study also revealed that 63.2% of respondent have negative perceptions of mental health, while 36.2% have positive perceptions. The Spearman Correlation found that the correlation coefficient, r (267) = -0.373, p<0.05 indicated a significant negative correlation between knowledge and perceptions on mental health, and the null hypothesis was rejected. Therefore, this current study indicates that enhancing the community’s understanding of mental health has potential to positively influence societal perceptions of mental illness
Efficacy Of Regular Positioning with Ripple Mattress Vs Ripple Mattress Alone in Preventing Pressure Ulcer Among Geriatric Patients in Medical Ward

(2023) highlight that pressure ulcers can lead to severe complications, significantly reducing quality of life and even increasing mortality rates among affected individuals. Hence, early prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers, especially in high-risk patients, is crucial. Geriatric patients are particularly vulnerable to developing pressure ulcers due to factors like reduced mobility, skin fragility, and multiple comorbidities. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of frequent repositioning using ripple mattresses in preventing pressure ulcers among elderly patients in medical wards. Specifically, it will compare the efficacy of using ripple mattresses alone versus in combination with other interventions. The study is designed as a prospective interventional trial with the primary goal of evaluating the effectiveness of different strategies to prevent pressure ulcers in immobilized elderly patients. Conducted at General Hospital Melaka, the study will take place in a controlled setting, assessing the impact of preventive measures over a specific period. The success of the intervention is demonstrated by notable improvements in Braden Scale scores and a reduction in pressure ulcer incidence in the group receiving the combined intervention. By adopting evidence-based strategies, healthcare professionals can significantly enhance patient care, reduce the prevalence of pressure ulcers, and improve the quality of life for at-risk elderly patients
ANALISIS STATUS SOSIOEKONOMI RESPONDEN KAJIAN KESAN AGIHAN ZAKAT DI KUCHING SARAWAK
Full text linkKajian ini menganalisis status sosioekonomi penerima zakat di Daerah Kuching, Sarawak, dan mengkaji kesan agihan zakat terhadap kehidupan mereka. Fokus kajian ini adalah kepada golongan asnaf fakir dan miskin, dengan objektif untuk menilai profil sosioekonomi mereka serta impak bantuan zakat yang diterima. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan soal selidik yang melibatkan 265 responden yang terdiri daripada penerima bantuan zakat di daerah tersebut. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan perisian SPSS bagi mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih jelas mengenai corak perbelanjaan, pendapatan, serta cabaran sosioekonomi yang dihadapi oleh golongan asnaf ini. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa walaupun bantuan zakat telah memberi kesan positif kepada penerima, terdapat kekurangan dalam aspek pengurusan dan pengagihan zakat yang menyebabkan ketidakseragaman impak bantuan terhadap penerima. Kajian ini mencadangkan penambahbaikan dalam pengumpulan data penerima zakat serta penekanan kepada program pendidikan dan kemahiran bagi meningkatkan kualiti hidup asnaf. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberi input berharga kepada pihak berkuasa zakat di Sarawak dalam merangka strategi agihan zakat yang lebih efektif di masa hadapan
PERSEPSI HAMKA TERHADAP AMALAN KHURAFAT DI MESIR BERDASARKAN TEORI INTERAKSIONISME DALAM TRAVELOG ‘MENYUSURI LEMBAH SUNGAI NIL’
Full text linkAmalan khurafat mampu memperdayakan manusia yang percaya dan berpegang dengannya walaupun ia bercanggah dengan hukum syarak dan akidah Islam. Kajian ini membahaskan persepsi Hamka terhadap amalan khurafat di Mesir dalam travelognya yang berjudul Menyusuri Lembah Sungai Nil. Persepsi Hamka terhadap amalan khurafat itu dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori interaksionisme. Kajian ini berbentuk kualitatif dengan menggunakan kaedah analisis kandungan. Hasil dapatan kajian mendapati bahawa persepsi Hamka terhadap amalan khurafat di Mesir bertepatan dengan prinsip teori interaksionisme. Diharapkan kajian terhadap travelog nukilan Hamka akan terus dipergiatkan lantaran kekurangan perhatian terhadap karya kembaranya berbanding karya-karyanya yang lain
TADBIR URUS KOMPLEKS FALAK AL KHAWARIZMI KE ARAH PEMERKASAAN ASTROTOURISM: SATU ANALISIS
Full text linkInstitusi balai cerap di Malaysia bermula daripada tapak-tapak rasmi untuk meneliti anak bulan pada bulan-bulan tertentu dalam tahun Hijrah. Tapak-tapak rasmi cerapan ini kemudian diilhamkan dan dikembangkan untuk dibangunkan menjadi balai cerap. Sehingga kini, Institusi balai cerap saat ini tidak lagi hanya terhad sebagai tempat untuk melakukan cerapan anak bulan tetapi turut berfungsi dalam pendidikan, penyelidikan juga pelancongan sebagaimana di Kompleks Falak Al Khawarizmi, Melaka. Namun terdapat beberapa kekangan dalam menjadikan Kompleks Falak Al Khawarizmi sebagai sebuah entiti astrotourism seperti kos penyelenggaraan peralatan canggih seperti naik taraf bangunan, teleskop dan planetarium, kekurangan kesedaran awam, dan persaingan dengan lokasi lain dengan kemudahan astronomi yang lebih maju. Oleh yang demikian artikel ini bertujuan untuk meneliti sejarah dan tadbir urus Kompleks Falak Al Khawarizmi dan meneliti strategi pemerkasaan astrotourism di Kompleks Falak Al Khawarizmi. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kajian kualitatif yang mensasarkan kepada analisis dokumen melalui kaedah dokumentasi iaitu mengumpul serta menganalisis kajian literatur. Tadbir urus yang berkesan terhadap Kompleks Falak Al-Khawarizmi boleh menjadi pemangkin kepada pertumbuhan astrotourism di Malaysia. STrategi pemerkasaan yang dikenal pasti adalah peningkatan infrastruktur, kempen promosi, program pendidikan dan kerjasama antarabangsa. Melalui pendekatan yang sistematik dan inklusif, kompleks ini bukan sahaja dapat mempromosikan ilmu falak tetapi juga menyumbang kepada pembangunan sosioekonomi dan pendidikan negara
PENGAMBILKIRAAN FIQH REALITI (WAQI’) DALAM PENENTUAN HUKUM ISLAM KONTEMPORARI: ANALISIS PENDEKATAN SHAYKH ABDULLAH BEN BAYYAH
Full text linkNass syara’ and the human condition have a very close relationship. This is because nass syara’ is the core of religion that is the guide, while the current human reality is the field for the implementation of the guide. The clash between the hardline (tashaddud) who are too attached to the source of the text without celebrating the local reality and the group who take it easy (tasahul) who leave the source of sharia holding has created religious conflict in society. Thus, the combination between the demands of Shariah idealism and the current and local reality taking into account is able to synergize Islamic law as a guide for life. Accordingly, this study will focus on the analysis of the approach of fiqh al-waqi ‘which was parsed by Shaykh‘ Abdullah Bin Bayyah through his work Tanbih al-Maraji ‘‘ Ala Ta’sil Fiqh al-Waqi ’. To achieve these objectives, this qualitative study applies the library approach fully by analyzing the content of the work. The results of the study found that Shaykh ‘Abdullah Bin Bayyah was a leading Islamic scholar in the field of usul al-fiqh and fiqh. The idea of Fiqh al-Waqi ‘that is preached is not a call to abandon the Islamic text or to submit to the pressures of reality, in fact he stressed that the assessment of a local reality must be through the legal methodology outlined. For example, in dealing with the polemic of the implementation of hudud law in Islamic countries, Shaykh ‘Abdullah Bin Bayyah first divides the position of hudud law in religion, which is from the aspect of recognition of his duty as a matter of faith, while in terms of its implementation is a matter of worship. The debate outlined focuses on the context of the current place to implement hudud punishment whether within the jurisdiction and ability to implement or not which leads to the postponement of the hudud law
