This study investigates the nexus between industrial disputes and job performance of academic staff of tertiary institutions in Benue State, Nigeria. With the aid of the study objectives, two hypotheses were formulated in the study. The study adopts the mixed method research design to critically investigate the phenomena under investigation. The population of this study comprised the entire academic staff across the four selected public tertiary institutions in Benue State totaling 1,205. Given that the researcher deemed the entire population of the study convenient and accommodating, the study employed the census approach. Therefore, all the members of the population were sampled in the study. The summation of all the responses was presented using frequency distribution tables and simple percentages. In addition, the mean analysis and standard deviation were used to analyze the data generated from the field while the linear regression was used to test the hypotheses formulated in the study. With regression outputs indicating that approximately 27.5% (R² = 0.275, Adjusted R² = 0.274, SE = 0.49201), the variance in commitment is explained by such disruptions, the study reveals among others that, industrial disputes influence the job commitment of academic staff of tertiary institutions in Benue State. The study concludes that, industrial disputes exert a multifaceted and statistically negative impact on job performance of academic staff in tertiary institutions in Benue State. The study recommends among others that, Benue State government should honour agreements reached with union members in tertiary institutions in Benue State by ensuring that fair salary structures and welfare packages are compared with inflation and high cost of living in Nigeria. However, union representatives in turn, should encourage members to rebuild trust and loyalty by emphasising the long-term mission of higher education, while also creating internal mechanisms to track and remain proficiently job committed to teaching and administrative responsibilities after industrial dispute by academic staff of tertiary institutions in Benue State.

The Role and Importance of Pottery in The Ustrushana Craft
The study of pottery investigates the evolution of pottery throughout history in the Ustrushana region, showcasing ceramic production as microcosm of the advancement of technologies and lifestyles from the neolithic to the early middle-ages. While there has been considerable research done on pottery in Central Asia more broadly, investigation into the way Ustrushana’s local ceramic traditions functioned amongst surrounding cultural influences is absent. Using comparative archaeology, this research studies different vessel types (khums, cauldrons, water jugs, bowls, saucers, lamps and ritual isirigdons) with typological classification and ethnographic interpretation. How they were shaped, their purpose, how they were made, the cultural contexts from which they came were the items these were analyse at major archaeological sites. The results indicate that pottery met basic needs such as cooking, food storage, water transport and lighting and at the same time, reflects innovation and cultural diffusion. The characteristic forms, whether raised jug handles or bowls influenced by Greek shapes, reflect robust local craftsmanship and, also, production under external influences. According to the study, the pottery of Ustrushana is one of the most important sources of economic life, the structure of settlements, and technological evolution in this region. It emphasizes the role of pottery as a fundamental source for reconstructing cultural history and enhancing our understanding of early societies in Central Asia
Intellectual Property Owners in The Process of The Third Renaissance: As A Factor for Unleashing Human Potential
In this article, we explore the role of those engaged in intellectual property in unlocking human potential as it relates to the Third Renaissance and the shift to a knowledge-based economy in Uzbekistan. Under the ambience of globalisation and digitalising environment, Role of Intellectual property has gained attention and considered as a strategic resource that guides -innovation, creativity and socio economic development. While important reforms were made in education, innovation policy and legal regulation, there is still the gap between what is formally protected under intellectual property and its due contribution to human capital formation and economic competitiveness. The paper will help fill this gap by examining the uses of various forms of IP ownership in developing and implementing creative process, entrepreneurial activity and innovation. This study draws on a qualitative analysis of national policies, international analytical documents, academic literature and institutional changes linked to intellectual property, education and digital development. Results highlight intellectual property owners as the mainspring by which knowledge is converted into economic and social value in science, technology and cultural industries. Yet, this potential is only partially realized due to limited digital skills, ineffective commercialization channels and low economic incentives. The findings indicate that reinforcing legal protection, expanding infrastructure for innovation, and enhancing education and digital skills are crucial for stimulating IP as a catalyst of development. Enhancing the status and capacity of intellectual property owners must take priority in order to build a competitive knowledge economy and ultimately implement the Third Renaissance concept in practice, the study concludes. These findings present major implications for policy design, innovation management and human capital development strategies in Uzbekistan

Assessing the Impact of Director Interlocks on Corporate Performance and Earnings Manipulation
This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of board of director interlock on firm performance and earnings management in non-financial public companies in 2016. A quantitative research approach was adopted, with the population consisting of firms that met specific criteria relevant to the research. A total of 199 firms qualified and were included in the study. The analysis model used was Simple Linear Regression, conducted using the statistical software SPSS version 23. The primary objective was to examine whether interlocking directorships—where a board member holds a position on the board of more than one company—have a significant impact on a company’s financial and market performance, as well as its earnings management practices. The hypothesis testing revealed that board of director interlock does not have a statistically significant effect on firm performance, whether measured by financial performance indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA) or by market performance indicators such as Tobin’s Q. Furthermore, the presence of board interlock was also found to have no significant influence on earnings management, as measured through discretionary accruals. These findings suggest that board interlock, in the context of the sampled firms, does not play a substantial role in influencing firm performance or earnings management practices
