Oddziaływanie środków masowego przekazu i globalizacji na gospodarkę światową – wybrane aspekty
No full textThe process of globalization, i.e. the process of unifying economies, is taking place under the influence of various factors having a cultural and political nature, but it is also driven by a number of factors with a technological dimension. Technological progress has made it possible to observe and participate in events all over the world, regardless of where we are at the moment. Mass media plays an important role in economic development on a global scale. The basic and decisive factor in the process of globalization is the free movement of capital, leading to an increase in the complexity of commercial, capital and organizational links between economic entities.
The aim of the article is to present the process of the influence of mass media (mainly the Internet) on the global economy. The main feature of the impact of the new media is their dynamism in the dissemination of information, which is often the pillar of actions taken on a global scale. The authors of this study have attempted to show the influence of mass media from the perspective of issues related to the elements of behavioral economics, as an attempt has been made to show the process of mediatization of contemporary social and economic life. The authors of the paper have also attempted to achieve the aim of the research with the use of the desk research method and a review of the literature on the subject.Proces globalizacji, a więc proces spajania gospodarek, dokonuje się pod wpływem różnych czynników o charakterze kulturowym, politycznym, ale także jest napędzany przez szereg czynników o wymiarze technologicznym. Postęp technologiczny sprawił bowiem, że możliwe jest obserwowanie i uczestniczenie w wydarzeniach na całym świecie, niezależnie od miejsca, w którym się aktualnie znajdujemy. Środki masowego przekazu odrywają istotną rolę w rozwoju gospodarczym w skali globalnej. Globalizacja przyczyniła się do rozwoju środków masowego przekazu (i odwrotnie) oraz spowodowała określone skutki w rozwoju mediów społecznościowych wspieranych i stymulowanych przez nowe platformy technologiczne. Podstawowym i decydującym czynnikiem w procesie globalizacji jest swobodny przepływ kapitału, prowadzący do wzrostu złożoności powiązań handlowych, kapitałowych i organizacyjnych podmiotów gospodarczych. Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie procesu oddziaływania środków masowego przekazu (przede wszystkim Internetu) na gospodarkę światową. Główną cechą wpływu, jaki niosą ze sobą nowe media, jest ich dynamizm w rozprzestrzenianiu się informacji, stanowiących często filar podejmowanych działań w skali globalnej. Autorzy niniejszego opracowania podjęli próbę ukazania wpływu środków masowego przekazu z perspektywy zagadnień z zakresu elementów ekonomii behawioralnej, ponieważ spróbowano przedstawić proces mediatyzacji współczesnego życia społecznego i gospodarczego. Dzięki metodzie desk research i przeglądowi literatury przedmiotu podjęto próbę zrealizowania założonego celu badań

No full textThe primary aspiration of this paper is to learn about the effects of agricultural energy consumption, agriculture value added, agricultural land and fertiliser consumption on environmental pollution in Visegrad countries. The research employs panel data from long-run models FMOLS and DOLS, covering the period from 1995 to 2020. The study suggests that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation between CO2 emissions from agriculture in Central and Eastern European countries, and factors such as higher energy consumption, increased value from agricultural production, greater fertiliser consumption, and larger arable land areas. The FMOLS and DOLS models’ long-term coefficients suggest that energy consumption in agriculture and crop area are the main factors contributing to the increase in CO2 emissions from agriculture in the studied countries. The study recommends a sustainable energy transformation of agriculture by limiting the use of fossil fuels in agricultural production and reducing share of arable land.Głównym celem niniejszego artykułu jest poznanie wpływu zużycia energii w rolnictwie, wartości dodanej w rolnictwie, zużycia gruntów rolnych i nawozów na zanieczyszczenie środowiska w krajach Grupy Wyszehradzkiej. W badaniu wykorzystano długookresowe modele danych panelowych FMOLS i DOLS, obejmujące okres od 1995 do 2020 roku. Wyniki badania wskazują, że istnieje pozytywna i statystycznie istotna korelacja między emisjami CO2 z rolnictwa w krajach Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej a czynnikami takimi jak wyższe zużycie energii, zwiększona wartość produkcji rolnej, większe zużycie nawozów i większe obszary gruntów ornych. Długoterminowe współczynniki modelu FMOLS potwierdzają, że zużycie energii w rolnictwie i powierzchnia upraw są głównymi czynnikami przyczyniającymi się do wzrostu emisji CO2 z rolnictwa w badanych krajach. W oparciu o wyniki badania, zaleca się zrównoważoną transformację energetyczną rolnictwa poprzez ograniczenie wykorzystania paliw kopalnych w produkcji rolnej i rekultywację części gruntów

No full textThe article „The Covenant with the desert – based on the volume Nof galui einayim [Open Eyed Land] by Yehuda Amichai” presents the image of the Judean Desert conveyed in poems of the Israeli poet Yehuda Amichai. In this volume, the Judean Desert is not only a biological and geographical category, but above all a part of the poet's inner experience. It is a symbolic space, saturated with both personal memories and the collective memory of many generations of Jews, from the times of Masada till the 20th century. In this desert, Amichai, referring to the figure of the Absent God, in whom he had already lost his faith, conducts a dialogue with the Jewish religious tradition. However, what attracts him the most to the desert is its silence and emptiness, evoking openness to the Inexpressible, to the world of rocks and minerals, and the prehistory of the Earth, more powerful than anthropology.
Artykuł Przymierze z pustynią – na podstawie tomu Nof galuj ejnajim Jehudy Amichaja przedstawia obraz Pustyni Judzkiej zawarty w wierszach izraelskiego poety Jehudy Amichaja. W utworach z tego tomu Pustynia Judzka ukazana została nie tylko jako kategoria biologiczno-geograficzna, ale przede wszystkim część wewnętrznego doświadczenia poety. Jest to przestrzeń symboliczna, nasycona zarówno osobistymi wspomnieniami, jak i zbiorową pamięcią wielu pokoleń Żydów, począwszy od czasów Masady aż po XX wiek. Na tej pustyni Amichaj, nawiązując do postaci Nieobecnego Boga, w którego wiarę już wcześniej utracił, prowadzi dialog z żydowską tradycją religijną. Tym jednak, co najbardziej zbliża go do pustyni, jest jej cisza i pustka, ewokująca otwarcie na Niewyrażalne, na świat skał i minerałów, i potężniejszą od antropologii prehistorię Ziemi

I portray the phenomenon of the creation of original city guides by individuals professionally involved in literature, and actively engaged on the Internet. I am interested in the specificity of the genre, that results from giving it an author‘s signature, and the autobiographical entanglement, which usually lies at the heart of the decision to write a book about the city one resides in. No full textThe article focuses on the poetry and epistolary writings of Adam Szyper (1939–2015). It consists of six parts dealing with: the importance of Jewish memory in the author’s poetry (part 1), three important places (genius loci) in his work: Poland, Israel and the United States (parts 2-4), his returns to Israel (Aliyah) and departures from there (Yoredah), documented in his correspondence (part 5). Part 6, the last part of the article, is a summary, where an attempt is made to determine the status of Szyper in those contexts on the basis of voices of literary criticism.The article focuses on the poetry and epistolary writings of Adam Szyper (1939–2015). No full textThe history of Italian translations of Polish literary works is closely linked not only to the development of Italian publishing, but also to a reception that followed partly different paths compared to that of other great European literatures. Undoubtedly a bibliography of Polish works translated in Italy can provide interesting and objective information on the choices made by Italian cultural circles, and in particular on the contribution of polonists and 'polonophiles' in the diffusion of Polish literature in Italy, on the editorial initiatives that have characterized the book industry from 1989 to today, on the function of the translator, who is necessarily responsible for the success or failure of a work and whose figure often does not receive the attention it deserves despite the role played in the context of cultural circulation.
The article aims to reveal that ‘presence’ of Polish literary works has profoundly changed – apparently – for the better, thanks also to the work of a new and large generation of Polish scholars and lively young translators, whose interest is mainly oriented towards contemporary Polish literature.

Get PDFThe purpose of this article is to analyse the issue of cybercrime from the point of view of protecting fuel infrastructure as critical infrastructure. The research method adopted is the dogmatic-legal method. The provisions of the Criminal Code and other legal acts are analysed. Fuel infrastructure continues to be critical to state security, although its role may be diminishing. The main hypothesis is that fuel security is protected in criminal law terms only through the prism of a general catalogue of offences. In view of this, the resilience of criminal law to violations of fuel infrastructure needs to be reviewed. The findings of the text are particularly important due to the relevance for state defence in the context of emergency situations, such as, for example, hostile hybrid actions conducted by cyber-attacks. Thus, it is crucial to safeguard state critical infrastructure through criminal law sanctions.Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza problematyki cyberprzestępczości z punktu widzenia ochrony infrastruktury paliwowej jako infrastruktury krytycznej. Przyjętą metodą badawczą jest metoda dogmatycznoprawna. Analizowane są przepisy kodeksu karnego i innych aktów prawnych. Infrastruktura paliwowa nadal ma kluczowe znaczenie dla bezpieczeństwa państwa, choć jej rola może się zmniejszać. Hipotezą główną jest założenie, że ochrona paliwowa jest w ujęciu prawnokarnym chroniona wyłącznie przez pryzmat ogólnego katalogu przestępstw. Wobec tego należy zweryfikować odporność prawa karnego na naruszenie infrastruktury paliwowej. Ustalenia zawarte w tekście są szczególnie ważne ze względu na znaczenie dla obronności państwa w kontekście sytuacji nadzwyczajnych, takich jak przykładowo wrogie działania hybrydowe prowadzone przez cyber-ataki. Get PDFThe article attempts to analyze changes in regulations governing lawyer advertising, with a particular focus on the amendments introduced in § 23 of the Code of Ethics for Lawyers (CEA) and the impact of 1) Directive 2006/123/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 on services in the internal market (OJEU L 376, 36); 2) Directive 2000/31/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2000 on certain legal aspects of information society services, in particular electronic commerce in the internal market (e-commerce directive) (OJEU L 178, 1), along with Resolution No. 93/2023 of the NRA, on the promotional practices of lawyers. The aim of the paper is to identify changes in the provision of legal services in the context of the implementation of the directive and to examine the benefits and challenges they bring to legal practice in the Republic of Poland. The article posits that the new regulations allow lawyers to use marketing tools while upholding professional ethics, increasing the availability of information on services provided while maintaining ethical standards. The research problem focuses on the balance between service promotion and professional ethics, examining how these changes will impact competition among lawyers. The article analyzes the ethical, legal, and practical aspects of the new advertising regulations, emphasizing their impact on society, clients, and the legal profession itself.Artykuł jest próbą analizy zmian w przepisach regulujących reklamę adwokacką, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wprowadzonych nowelizacji w § 23 Kodeksu Etyki Adwokackiej (KEA) oraz wpływu dyrektywy 2006/123/WE Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady z 12 grudnia 2006 r. dotyczącej usług na rynku wewnętrznym oraz dyrektywy 2000/31/WE Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady z 8 czerwca 2000 r. w sprawie niektórych aspektów prawnych usług społeczeństwa informacyjnego, w szczególności handlu elektronicznego w ramach rynku wewnętrznego (dyrektywa o handlu elektronicznym) wraz z uchwałą nr 93/2023 Naczelnej Rady Adwokackiej na praktyki promocyjne adwokatów. Get PDFThe article is attempting to analyze institution of warranty of leased thing. It presents perception of defect according to polish provisions about lease. Except describing regulations from article 664 and 682 of Polish Civil Code (PCC), the article shows disputes in juridical doctrine and different positions in judicial decisions. For example the article tells about controversies in using provisions about withdrawal from a contract in reciprocal contracts (articles 491-95 of PCC) and way to contract denouncement in virtue of article 682 of PCC. The main target of this text is describing institution of warranty of leased thing and presentation main controversies in practical use of this provisions.Artykuł jest próbą zanalizowania instytucji rękojmi rzeczy najętej. Przedstawia rozumienie wady w kontekście polskich przepisów o najmie. Poza przedstawieniem regulacji z art. 664 i art. 682 k.c., pokazuje spory w doktrynie prawniczej, a także różne stanowiska w orzecznictwie na temat rękojmi rzeczy najętej. Porusza m.in. kwestie stosowania przepisów o odstąpieniu od umowy wzajemnej (art. 491-95 k.c.), czy sposobu wypowiedzenia umowy na mocy art. 682 k.c..
