Prezydent i rząd w myśli politycznej Narodowej Demokracji (do 1939 roku)
Get PDFThe nation-state system was one of the key issues raised in the National Democracy’s political thought. More specifically, state-system issues in the National Democracy’s political thought were considered in close connection with issues of a world-view character. The need for establishing “a strong government”, viewed as a government composed of the national elite, including individuals that were both valuable for the country and nationally aware, was emphasised. It was believed that the presidential power should be vested in politicians displaying outstanding intellectual and ethical qualifications. The National Democracy’s political thought embraced the concept of a strong parliamentary government elected by the majority of Poles. Criticism was expressed regarding the concept of dictatorship which was said to constitute an undurable and transitional system.Ustrój państwa narodowego stanowił jedno z kluczowych zagadnień podejmowanych w myśli politycznej Narodowej Demokracji. Problematyka ustrojowa w myśli politycznej ND była rozpatrywana w ścisłym związku z zagadnieniami o charakterze światopoglądowym. Podkreślano konieczność utworzenia „rządów silnych”, utożsamianych z rządami elity narodowej, złożonej z wartościowych pod względem narodowym, uświadomionych narodowo jednostek. Uważano, że władza prezydencka powinna spoczywać w rękach polityków obdarzonych wysokimi kwalifikacjami zarówno umysłowymi jak i etycznymi. W myśli politycznej ND obowiązywała koncepcja silnego rządu parlamentarnego wyłonionego przez większość polską. Krytycznie odnoszono się do koncepcji dyktatury. Get PDFThe aim of the article was to present the role of France as an active participant and architect of European climate policy. Negotiations around EU climate neutrality by 2050 were one of the priorities of the French Presidency of the Council in the EU in 2022. President Emanuel Macron's political declarations and the assumptions of the French government's energy and climate transition laws and programmes from 2015 to 2023 were analysed). The study found that Paris is smartly entangle its own national preferences into the European agenda while adaptation to the requirements of EU climate policy is becoming an instrument for restructuring the economy and a driver for the French energy transition to lead to economic growth, employment and 'economic sovereignty' (autonomy).Celem artykułu było ukazanie roli Francji jako aktywnego uczestnika i architekta europejskiej polityki klimatycznej. Negocjacje wokół neutralności klimatycznej UE do 2050 roku były jednym z priorytetów francuskiej prezydencji w Radzie w UE w 2022 r. Analizie poddano deklaracje polityczne prezydenta Emanuela Macrona oraz założenia ustaw i programów transformacji energetyczno – klimatycznej rządu francuskiego w latach 2015-2023). Badanie wykazało, że Paryż umiejętnie „wplata” własne preferencje narodowe w europejską agendę a adaptacja do wymogów polityki klimatycznej UE staje się instrumentem restrukturyzacji gospodarki i kołem zamachowym francuskiej transformacji energetycznej, która ma prowadzić do wzrostu gospodarczego, zatrudnienia oraz „suwerenności gospodarczej” (autonomii)

The overall picture will present the characteristics relevant to the issue, which is the starting point for many of the themes addressed in the study of the development of Russia's political parties and movements at different historical stages. Get PDFThis article is a study into, among others, criminal law aspects of the problem of using a GPS tracker by a licensed detective during a secret observation in order to obtain information about the location and movement of a person. The analysis of this problem was carried out through the prism of selected provisions of the Act on detective services and the Penal Code as well as the essence of operational and reconnaissance activities and other facets. According to the author, such cases should be considered in terms of committing a crime by the perpetrator specified in Art. 45 of the Detective Services Act and Art. 267 § 3 Penal Code. The author also emphasizes that it is possible to apply a cumulative legal qualification consisting of the above-mentioned legal provisions.Przedmiotowe opracowanie stanowi swoiste studium (nie tylko) karnoprawne odnoszące się do problematyki wykorzystywania podczas prowadzenia obserwacji przez licencjonowanego detektywa lokalizatora GPS celem uzyskania informacji o miejscu przebywania i trasie przemieszczania się danej osoby w sposób utajony, czyli utrzymany przed nią w tajemnicy. Analiza tego problemu została przeprowadzona m.in. przez pryzmat wybranych przepisów ustawy o usługach detektywistycznych, k.k. oraz istoty czynności operacyjno-rozpoznawczych. Zdaniem autora tego typu przypadki należy rozpatrywać pod kątem wypełnienia przez sprawcę znamion typu czynu zabronionego określonego w art. 45 ustawy o usługach detektywistycznych oraz art. 267 § 3 k.k. Podkreśla on również, że nie jest wykluczona możliwość zastosowania kumulatywnej kwalifikacji prawnej (składającej się z ww. przepisów).

Get PDFThe study presented the creation and activities of the Saint Joseph Foundation of the Polish Bishops' Conference. The initiative taken by the Polish bishops was intended to provide assistance to victims of sexual abuse by clergy serving in the Catholic Church in Poland. A narrative has been created from which a picture emerges from which the reader will be able to learn about the causes and process of the establishment of the Foundation and the various areas of its activities and functioning. To this end, the following sources were used: the notarial deed, the statutes and bylaws, reports and statements of the Foundation, as well as the Facebook application, Polish and foreign literature in the field of legal sciences and canon studies. The overall picture has been created through the application of various research methods, including dogmatic-legal, historical-legal, philological. The study created has filled the research gap in this area to a small extent. The above article fulfils various functions: apologetic, preventive and informative. The presented research can serve as an inspiration for others, including potential funders, members and staff of the Foundation, as well as researchers who are interested in the presented topics.Opracowane studium zaprezentowało powstanie i działalność Fundacji Świętego Józefa Konferencji Episkopatu Polski. Inicjatywa podjęta przez Polskich biskupów miała na celu nieść pomoc ofiarom wykorzystania seksualnego przez osoby duchowne posługujące w Kościele katolickim w Polsce. Stworzono narracje, z której wyłania się obraz, dzięki któremu czytelnik będzie mógł zapoznać się z przyczynami i procesem powstania Fundacji oraz z różnymi obszarami jej działalności. W tym celu posłużono się źródłami, do których należy zaliczyć: akt notarialny, statut oraz regulamin, raporty i sprawozdania Fundacji, a także aplikację Facebook, literaturą polską i zagraniczną z zakresu nauk prawnych i kanonistyki. Całościowy obraz został stworzony dzięki zastosowaniu różnych metod badawczych m.in. dogmatyczno-prawnej, historyczno-prawnej, filologicznej. Stworzone studium w małym stopniu uzupełniło lukę badawczą w tym obszarze. Powyższy artykuł pełni różne funkcje: apologetyczną, prewencyjno- pedagogiczną, edukacyjną i informacyjną. Zaprezentowane badania mogą stanowić inspirację dla innych m.in. potencjalnych fundatorów, członków i pracowników Fundacji oraz badaczy, których zainteresowała przedstawiona tematyka.

Get PDFProgressive computerization undeniably affects every aspect of society, including the conduct of litigation. This is emanating not only from the regulations being introduced into the Code of Civil Procedure, which clearly "benefit" from technological developments. It is also relevant to the evidence that parties to proceedings offer to prove their case. On the background of the above, a screenshot should be pointed out as a classic example of a "modern" means of evidence. The subject of this article will therefore be an attempt to analyze how a screenshot is created, what may constitute its content and, finally, how to submit it to the case file in order to make it a reliable and effective means of evidence for a party to the proceedings.
Postępująca informatyzacja ma w sposób bezsprzeczny wpływ na każdy aspekt funkcjonowania społeczeństwa, w tym na prowadzenie sporów sądowych. Emanacją tego są nie tylko regulacje wprowadzane do Kodeksu postępowania cywilnego, które w sposób ewidentny „korzystają” z rozwoju technicznego. Ma to również znaczenie przy dowodach, jakie strony postępowania oferują celem udowodnienia swoich racji. Na kanwie powyższego, jako klasyczny przykład „nowoczesnego” środka dowodowego wskazać należy na zrzut ekranu. Przedmiotem artykułu będzie wobec tego próba analizy, jak powstaje zrzut ekranu, co może stanowić jego treść i wreszcie – w jaki sposób przedłożyć go do akt sprawy, aby stanowił dla strony postępowania pewny i skuteczny środek dowodowy.

In search of the beginnings of a foodsemic boom in the history of English
Get PDFFood unquestionably plays a vital role in our lives, as it is essential for our day-to-day existence. It is multifacetedly mirrored in the way we picture the world and communicate with one another. Frequently, food names are deployed metaphorically/metonymically to conceptualize either human beings themselves and/or various aspects and features of their existence. Sometimes, such metaphors are analysed from a synchronic perspective, for example by Martsa (2001, 2013) and Kövecses (2002) and they are perceived as a means of communication. However, food metaphors may be analysed from a diachronic perspective and, as shown by Kleparski (2008, 2012), Kudła (2009, 2016), and Kowalczyk (2015, 2017) among others, in the history of English, food metaphors are traceable in various historically distant periods, and abound especially in most recent periods of the history of English when there are high levels of foodsemic figurative extensions. As shown by Kowalczyk (2024), between the years 1800-1950, there were over 130 cases of food-related metaphor. These numbers stand in sharp contrast to the humble beginnings of food metaphor in Old English and the Early Modern English period. The aim of this paper is to specify the period of intensification and heightened productivity of this phenomenon. The 16th century will be highlighted as the time of a true foodsemic boom that sparked off the process of blooming of this metaphorical mechanism. In the late Middle English period, which spans the 14th and 15th century, only a handful of food-related metaphors are registered and supported by historical lexicographic sources. By contrast, during the course of the 16th century, there were around two dozen food-related cases of metaphorization
The politics of fear in Yussef El Guindi’s Back of the throat
Get PDFThe events of September 11 and the ensuing ‘war on terror’ saw the rise of private and structural Islamophobia in the USA. Centuries-old essentialist myths and stereotypes have been used to perpetuate the image of Muslims and Arabs as the antithesis to the West, most often as could-be terrorists—a danger to both individual and national identity, values and even life itself. As Svendsen (2008), Furedi (2018), Ahmed (2014) and Bauman (2006) argue, whoever controls fear, controls the society. This paper examines the cultural and discursive strategies of disciplining through the reproduction of fear and safety narratives in Yussef El Guindi’s play Back of the Throat. It analyses the reciprocal effects culturally constructed fear has on both its subjects and objects. Finally, it describes the lived experiences of Arab/Muslim Americans in the aftermath of 9/11, in the climate of prejudice-driven fear that undermines their individual freedoms and civil rights
Odkrywanie przez dociekanie jako strategia dynamizowania rozwoju umiejętności projektowania rozwiązania u uczniów edukacji wczesnoszkolnej
Get PDFThe aim of the research was to show the changes taking place in the solution design skills of pupils in the primary education (which was considered a dependent variable) under the influence of the introduction of a new method of working with children. Eleven teachers who enrolled their classes for the "Child as a researcher" project took part in dedicated workshops and acquired knowledge and skills to teach with the use of IBSE. Applying the method in everyday educational practice was considered an independent variable. The dependent variable was measured twice in their classes, i.e. 200 second-grade pupils from primary schools in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. Quantitative analysis revealed a statistically significant increase in the solution design skills of the surveyed pupils. The qualitative analysis of the collected empirical material showed that in the final measurement, the pupils more often tried to solve the problem according to their own ideas, proposed many different, original and creative ideas, indicating a research attitude, and additionally, they started using the notions related to Inquiry Based Science Education in their language.Celem podjętych badań było ukazanie zmian zachodzących w obrębie umiejętności projektowania rozwiązania u uczniów pierwszego etapu edukacji (co uznano za zmienną zależną) pod wpływem wprowadzenia nowej metody pracy z dziećmi. Jedenastu nauczycieli, którzy zgłosili swoje klasy do projektu „Dziecko jako badacz”, w trakcie warsztatów nabyło wiedzę i umiejętności realizowania dydaktyki przy użyciu IBSE. Wdrożenie jej do codziennej praktyki edukacyjnej uznano za zmienną niezależną. Dwukrotnym pomiarem zmiennej zależnej objęto prowadzone przez nich klasy, czyli 200 uczniów klas drugich ze szkół podstawowych z województwa świętokrzyskiego. Analiza ilościowa ujawniła istotny statystycznie wzrost umiejętności projektowania rozwiązań u badanych uczniów. Analiza jakościowa zebranego materiału empirycznego wykazała, że w pomiarze końcowym uczniowie częściej podejmowali próby rozwiązania problemu według własnego pomysłu, proponowali wiele różnorodnych, oryginalnych i kreatywnych pomysłów, wskazujących na postawę badawczą, dodatkowo w ich języku pojawiły się pojęcia związane z metodą odkrywania przez dociekanie
