The Effectiveness of Home Visits in Reducing Student Truancy
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan kunjungan rumah untuk menurunkan perilaku bolos pada siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode pre eksperimen dengan metode one shot case study dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 8 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Desain penelitian ini dengan diberikan treatment/ perlakuan, pada satu kelompok dan selanjutnya di observasi hasilnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran perilaku bolos sekolah siswa sebelum dilakukan perlakuan didapat sebanyak 8 siswa yang sering melakukan perilaku bolos sekolah seperti tidak masuk sekolah selama berhari-hari tanpa keterangan dan berada diluar kelas saat jam pembelajaran berlangsung. Kemudian setelah dilakukan kunjungan rumah tersisa 3 siswa yang bolos sekolah tanpa keterangan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kunjungan rumah efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku bolos sekolah siswa. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku siswa bolos sekolah antara lain kondisi ekonomi, kurangnya perhatian orangtua karena sibuk bekerja dan siswa yang susah dinasehati. Faktor penghambat dari kunjungan rumah dalam penelitian ini adalah orangtua/wali siswa tidak berada di rumah dikarenakan sibuk bekerja dan alamat siswa tidak lengkap atau tidak sesuai
Career Development of Students through Information Services to Support Decision Making for Further Studies at Madrasah Aliyah Deli Serdang
Get PDFThis research aims to determine student career development thourgh information services to assist decisions making for further studies. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection tools used in this research were in-depth interviews, Participatory observation and documentation studies. The research subjects chosen were 3 BK teachers as secondary data informant and 10 class XII Religion students as primary data informant. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, namely: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this research is credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and confermability (objectivity). The research results show that information services that are routinely carried out every week has a positive impact on career students development in making decisions about further studies. Information services are the services most frequently implemented at MAN 1 Deli Serdang. Information services are a supporting indicator for career guidance and counseling teachers provide information about universities, study programs, jobs or things that students do after completing themselves at Madrasah Aliyah (MA). This help student develop their career and determine further study options. Student stated that they gained a good understanding after carrying out information services by the BK teacher so that they could determine further study and job prospect for themselves and felt motivated so as to increase their abilities and potential in accordance with the decision to further study for career development
The Influence of Information Services on Students' Learning Concentration
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the influence of information services on the learning concentration of students at SMP IT Al-Hijrah Laut Dendang. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest format. The sample consists of 38 students from SMP IT Al-Hijrah, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire on learning concentration designed with a Likert Scale, developed and modified based on various existing theories. The data analysis technique employed is the paired sample t-test.
The results of the study show that the average pretest score of students is 52.05, while the posttest score is 83.68. The paired sample t-test conducted using SPSS 23 yielded a significance value of 0.001. According to the decision rule in the paired sample t-test, where a significance value < 0.05 indicates significance, the result of 0.001 < 0.05 leads to the acceptance of H1 and rejection of H0.
It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of information services on the learning concentration of 7th-grade students in the Ikhwan class at SMP IT Al-Hijrah Laut Dendang for the academic year 2023/2024
Ketahanan Keluarga Melalui Konseling Pra Nikah di Kabupaten Jember
No full textHancurnya ikatan perkawinan memberi gambaran bahwa kemampuan keluarga dalam ketahanan dirinya belum mampu menopang tujuan dari sebuah pernikahan. Dalam mewujudkan keluarga harmonis dan sejahtera diperlukan konseling pra nikah sebagai bekal pengetahuan kepada pasangan yang akan menikah. Artikel ini akan membahas bagaimana peran konseling pra nikah terhadap ketahanan keluarga di Kabupaten Jember dalam tinjauan Maqasid al-Syari’ah Jamal al-Din Atiyyah. Artikel disusun menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu konseling pra nikah sangat efektif dalam mempersiapkan calon pengantin dalam menghadapi pernikahan dan membantu individu yang akan berkeluarga memahami tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai anggota keluarga sehingga lebih siap menghadapi kehidupan keluarga dan segala permasalahan di dalamnya dalam upaya menjaga ketahanan keluarga. Konseling pra nikah berfungsi sebagai wadah dalam tercapainya tujuan dari pernikahan sebagaimana dalam Maqashid al-Syari’ah Jamal al-Dn Atiyah dalam ranah keluarga. Dengan demikian pasangan yang akan menikah dengan bekal yang didapat dari konseling pra nikah memiliki ketahanan yang kuat dalam menjalani kehidupan keluarganya. Maka akar timbulnya perceraian akibat kurang kokohnya ketahanan keluarga yang berujung pada perselisihan bahkan perceraian dapat dihindari.

Peran Pengawasan Kemetrologian dalam Menjamin Kebenaran Penunjukkan Volume Takaran Pompa Ukur BBM di SPBU Kota Samarinda
Get PDFDilatarbelakangi dari informasi masyarakat bahwa dari sejumlah SPBU yang tersebar di Kota Samarinda ada beberapa SPBU yang bermasalah. Masyarakat mengeluh tentang ketidakakurasian antara jumlah nominal yang tertera di dispenser pompa BBM dengan volume BBM yang dikeluarkan dari nozzle BBM. Berdasarkan ini timbul permasalahan: Pertama, Sejauh mana urgensi pengawasan terhadap kebenaran penunjukkan volume takaran pompa ukur. Kedua, faktor penghambat pengawasan Kemetrologian dalam menjamin kebenaran penunjukkan volume takaran pompa ukur di SPBU Kota Samarinda. Ketiga, bagaimana perspektif hukum Islam dalam pelaksanaan pengawasan Kemetrologian dalam menjamin kebenaran penunjukkan volume takaran pompa ukur di SPBU Kota Samarinda. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian empiris (field research), dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis-empiris. Sumber data diperoleh dari data primer, sekunder dan data tersier. Selanjutnya data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian ini, menyimpulkan: Pertama, bahwa adanya pengawasan itu sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan agar mewujudkan Daerah Tertib Ukur yang mampu melindungi kepentingan umum khususnya konsumen dalam hal jaminan kebenaran ketetapan pengukuran, serta adanya ketertiban dan kepastian hukum dalam alat-alat ukur, takar,timbang,dan perlengkapannya. Kedua, kendala atau faktor penghambat dari kegiatan pengawasan yaitu: kurangnya sarana dan prasarana secara teknis, keterbatasan Sumber Daya Manusia Pengawas Kemetrologian dan yang terakhir yaitu rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat serta minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat terkait Metrologi. Ketiga, dalam perspektif Hukum Islam yang merealisasikan konsep Fiqh Siyasah Tanfidziyyah bahwasannya Kebijakan Pemerintah dalam pelaksanaan pengawasan kemetrologian yang dilaksanakan sesuai prinsip-prinsip siyasah tanfidziyyah yang tujuan semua nya ialah untuk kemaslahatan dan kebaikan bersama

Get PDFThis research aims to determine the development of export value in East Kalimantan. This research data utilizes secondary data obtained directly from the Central Statistics Agency of East Kalimantan Province. The analysis method applied is a simple linear regression algorithm data mining. Research findings reveal that the export value in East Kalimantan in January 2022 - April 2024 up to the predicted export value in May 2024 - December 2024 experienced a decline in the export value in East Kalimantan. With an accuracy in predicting the RMSE value of 3.182%, this means that the predicted percentage of East Kalimantan's export value is classified as very accurate. The hope of this research is that this research will become a reference for decision making for related parties, so that they can find the best strategy to increase export value in East Kalimantan. Beliefs of East Borneo EFL Teachers Concerning World Englishes
Get PDFMany researchers have examined students' perceptions of World English. However, little research has been conducted on what teachers in East Borneo think about this topic. Therefore, it is important to find out whether EFL East Borneo teachers are able to teach and introduce the concept of International English. This research seeks to examine East Borneo EFL instructors' beliefs of World Englishes and their application of these varieties in the classroom. The subjects were thirty EFL English instructors in Balikpapan, Samarinda, Kutai Kartanegara, Bontang, Kutai Timur, PPU, and Berau District of East Borneo Province. The method used to gather data was a questionnaire with Likert scales and open-ended questions on teachers' attitudes and practices towards World Englishes. Percentage, mean, and standard deviation were used to examine the data (S.D). The study's results found that East Borneo EFL teachers executed their ideas by teaching students to communicate like native speakers. They generally expose students to standard English in terms of accents, grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and the use of a standard English dictionary. On the other hand, they followed the World Englishes paradigm in educating culture, choosing and using books and resources with varying levels of English
Implementasi Metode Sam’iyah Syafawiyah pada Maharah Istima’ dan Maharah Kalam di PKPBA UIN Malang

The purpose of this research is to describe the use of the method of Sam'iyah Syafawiyah in an effort to improve the ability to hear and speak students in PKPBA UIN Malang. Maharah istima ' as maharah istiqbaliyah has an important role as a tool to collect information through hearing. The method of Sam'iyyah Syafawiyah proved to be a suitable approach to develop maharah istima', because it emphasizes the activity of listening as the beginning of learning, which is then implemented in the form of speaking. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research, data collection techniques involve direct observation of student interaction during the application of the method, interviews with students and teachers, as well as the analysis of documents such as class notes and evaluation results. While the data analysis used in the form of data reduction, data display and conclusions. Data validation process is done by triangulating data based on collection techniques. The research was conducted at the Special Program for Arabic language development (PKPBA) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Indonesia, in 2023 with the object of Student Research. The results showed that the steps of applying the method as follows, teachers can use YouTube as a learning tool, involving preliminary, repetitive, question and answer, and generalization. The results showed that students are able to respond well to audio and can pronounce words or sentences correctly. With the application of these methods in learning found some advantages and disadvantages when applied in PKPBA UIN Malang
Qawaid Learning Through Prezi Media and The Effectiveness of Maharah Qira'ah in Distance Learning
Get PDF21st-century learning requires the use of innovative media such as Prezi to deliver material in an engaging way, especially in facing the challenges of distance learning. In learning Arabic, understanding qawaid (Arabic rules) is important to form a strong basis for language understanding, especially in reading ability (maharah qira'ah). Learning media such as Prezi can help improve student’s understanding of qawaid and Arabic reading skills, as well as provide effective solutions in the context of distance learning. The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of Prezi media in conveying qawaid al-lughah al-arabiyyah material and its impact on increasing student’s maharah qira'ah. This research methodology uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment design, where the experimental and control classes are divided based on certain criteria. The results of data analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test showed significant differences between the post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class which used Prezi media and the control class. Learning qawā'id through Prezi media is effective in increasing the mahārah qirā'ah of class XI students at MAN Insan Cendikia Padang Pariaman, with the experimental class's N-Gain Score reaching 58%, quite effective. However, it is necessary to develop Prezi for Arabic fonts. It is recommended that future research measure teachers' readiness to use online learning media. Prezi media is important in distance learning, highlighting the importance of choosing the right media. In conclusion, the use of Prezi media in qawaid learning has the potential to increase student’s understanding and proficiency in Arabic, but needs further adaptation and development to maximize its benefits in a distance learning context
