Meaningful Learning in Primary Education: Implementation of Deep Learning Approach in Realizing the UNESCO Education Pillar at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

    No full text
This research aims to explore the implementation of deep learning as a pedagogical approach in supporting meaningful learning and realizing the four pillars of UNESCO education in the context of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Using a case study design at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kudus, this study focuses attention on the integration of meaningful and fun learning principles in classroom learning practices. The data uses interviews, observation and documentation analysis, as well as researchers as the main instruments. The findings in this study show that the deep learning approach is able to encourage active, critical, and reflective student engagement, where learning activities are closely connected to real experiences. This practice contributes significantly to the holistic formation of students' character, particularly within the framework of UNESCO's four pillars: learning do know. Learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together. However, this study also revealed a number of challenges, such as limited teacher readiness, inadequate learning facilities, and the need for continuous professional training to support effective implementation. This research provides valuable insights for educators and policymakers in designing inclusive, transformative, and contextual learning environments in Islamic-based basic education

The Phenomenon of Early Marriage in Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency (Islamic Legal Analysis and Solutions)

    No full text
Early marriage in Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency, is a crucial social issue characterized by a dualism of norms between positive law in Law No. 16 of 2019 and permissive socio-religious norms. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of early marriage in depth, identify its causal factors, and examine the role of the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in addressing it from the perspective of Islamic Family Law. Using qualitative methods with a descriptive juridical approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with various key informants including KUA officers, religious leaders, community leaders, parents, and young couples and was further supported by observation and documentation studies. The results indicate that state law is ineffective in the face of dominant social norms. This practice is driven by a complex combination of economic factors, education, and moral justifications to prevent promiscuity, yet consistently produces greater negative impacts (harm). It was also found that the community's understanding of marriage readiness remains narrow, focusing on physical aspects while neglecting mental and economic maturity. As a result, marriage dispensations have shifted from being a child protection instrument to a reactive solution to social problems. The Religious Affairs Office (KUA) has played a vital role as an educational agent, but its effectiveness is hampered by strong traditions and significant gaps in ongoing post-marital support. This research confirms that effective interventions require a holistic approach that addresses economic aspects, reconstructs religious understanding, and strengthens post-marital support system

    No full text

A quantitative approach with a comparative research design was chosen to answer the research objectives. A total of 379 active students participated in this study, selected using accidental sampling. Data were obtained using a student engagement scale and analysed using ANOVA. The results of the study found that: 1) There was no difference in student engagement based on gender (significance value = 0.400). 2) There was a significant difference in student engagement based on academic year (significance value = 0.001); further analysis showed that first-year students had the highest mean score compared to students in higher years. From these results, it can be concluded that there was no difference in student engagement by gender, whereas by academic year, there was a significant difference. This study provides new insights into the factors of gender and academic year that can impact student engagement. No full text
Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) management institutions play a crucial role in promoting social welfare equality in Indonesia, thus requiring accountable and transparent reporting. PSAK 109, issued by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI), serves as the accounting standard for the recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of ZIS funds in accordance with Sharia principles. This study examines the relevance of PSAK 109 as a strategic instrument for ZIS governance based on the five pillars of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). The research employs a literature review and content analysis of academic literature, regulations, and institutional reports. The results indicate that PSAK 109 supports GCG by enhancing transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and equitable distribution of funds. Structured implementation of PSAK 109 has been shown to strengthen muzakki trust, expand fund collection, and improve internal controls—for instance, a study of BAZNAS West Java reported a 72.1% contribution to good zakat governance. PSAK 109 is not only a technical guideline but also a strategy for establishing professional and sustainable ZIS governance. Future research is recommended to compare implementation across regions, develop GCG evaluation models based on maqashid sharia, and explore the integration of reporting technology
