Tahfiz House and Social Formation: Quranic Education, Agency, and Socio-Political Dynamics
Get PDFThis article explores the formation of social formations influenced by the growth and dynamics of Qur'anic education through the existence of Rumah Tahfiz. This model of Qur'anic education is considered revolutionary compared to previous approaches because it brings various innovations in education that are more in line with the needs of urban Muslim communities as its main target. The core question of this article is: How does the presence of Rumah Tahfiz affect social formations in the city of Banjarmasin? Through an ethnographic approach, including participatory observation for three months from September to November 2023, this article finds that social dynamics and formations have changed the face of Rumah Tahfiz as an institution of Qur'anic education, while also emphasizing the role of Rumah Tahfiz in changing the social structure of the surrounding community

Get PDFThe success of a company can’t be separated from the role of its employees or human resources who have expertise and professionalism in their fields. the purpose of this study was to determine how much influence organizational culture, islamic leadership, compensation and motivation on employee performance of PT Migas Mandiri Pratama (MMP) East Kalimantan partially and simultaneously and also to determine the variables that have the most influence on employee performance. The research method used is quantitative research. The population used was 32 respondents and the sampling technique was saturated sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with SPSS 25 data processing tools. The results of this study indicate that the organizational culture variable has a significant effect on employee performance and the motivation variable has a significant effect on employee performance. However, the islamic leadership variable has no significant effect on employee performance and the compensation variable has no significant effect on employee performance. The implication of this research is for the company to continue the good things that have been done in its efforts to maintain working relationships with employees to create a situation where employees become productive, committed, and loyal to the company
Analysis of Learning Motivation of Gifted and Talented Children: an Islamic Perspective
Get PDFLearning motivation is influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors; gifted children quickly get bored with activities that do not match their abilities and need higher challenges to stay motivated. This study used the systematic literature review (SLR) method. Data collection used literature studies. The number of analyzed documents was 25 from highly reputable journals (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and Sinta 2) obtained through Scopus, Springer, Eric, Sciendirect, Doaj, Taylor, and Google Scholar. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive qualitative analysis with the help of NVIVO software 12. The study results showed that the intrinsic learning motivation of gifted and talented children was more dominant than the extrinsic one. It includes liking challenges, high curiosity, creativity and innovation, and liking exploration. Strong learning motivation in gifted and talented children aligns substantially with Islamic values. The encouragement to continue learning, exploring knowledge, innovating, and exploring one's potential is an integral part of the implementation of Allah's command to seek knowledge and utilize the intellect that He has given. This not only contributes to the achievement of academic and professional success but also deepens their faith and piety in God Almighty. This research could contribute to understanding learning motivation from the Islamic perspective and increase the learning motivation of gifted and talented children based on Islamic teachings
Strengthening Moderate Islamic Insight in Madrasah through Integration of Islamic Education Curriculum
Get PDFThis research aims to explain the construction of moderate Islamic curriculum integration at Madrasah and the output of moderate Islamic curriculum integration. This research used a qualitative approach with the MI Nurul Islam Gresik as the research location. The data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used qualitative and content analysis. This research found that the construction of the integration of the Moderate Islamic curriculum at MI Nurul Islam Gresik is, first, through formal activities through teaching and learning activities that support the cultivation of moderate Islamic values, including religion, social care, example, tolerance, religion, social care, tolerance; second, through non-formal/extras that support the cultivation of moderate Islamic values including democracy and social care; third, through examples that support the cultivation of moderate Islamic values, which include: social care, cooperation, and religion; and fourth, through habits that support the cultivation of moderate Islamic values including religion, tolerance, democracy, social care, social concern. Meanwhile, the outputs from the integration of the moderate Islamic curriculum at MI Nurul Islam Gresik are first, creating a religious student character; second, creating a tolerant student character; third, creating student characters who care about others; fourth, creating student characters who love peace; fifth, creating student characters who like deliberation. The theoretical implication of the research is that curriculum integration in education can give birth to a new educational curriculum model that is adaptive to current developments following sociological conditions and demographic locations
The Role of The Principal in Improving Teachers' Creativity
Get PDFThis study explores the principal's role in improving teacher creativity at MA Al Ittihad, Kampar Regency. The study employed a qualitative approach within a field research design. The research subjects was the principal of MA Al Ittihad. The data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation, while the data analysis technique adopted the data reduction model, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the principal had taken various steps to improve teachers' creativity, such as providing direct examples through room design, directing teachers' creative activities, giving appreciation through awards and bonuses to teachers who innovate, and providing facilities and budgets for creative activities. Principals also offer opportunities for teachers and students to compete in creative events, both at the local and provincial levels. The implications of this study show the importance of the principal's role in creating a climate that supports teacher creativity, which in turn can improve the quality of learning and student achievement. This research also contributes to the development of school management that focuses on empowering educators' creativity
The Integrated Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education in Junior High School
Get PDFThe integrated learning model in Islamic Religious Education at the junior high school level seeks to improve students' understanding of religious values and engagement in learning. This study examines the application of the integrated learning model in Islamic Religious Education at the junior high school level, focusing on its impact on students' understanding of religious values and engagement in the learning process. This study was conducted at Al Azhar 1 Junior High School in Bandar Lampung. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed to explore the implementation of the integrated learning model. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. The participants included teachers, students, the school principal, and the vice principal. Analysis followed Miles and Huberman's interactive model, with data validity ensured through triangulation, offering an objective view of the model's effect on student engagement and understanding. Results showed that the integrated learning model effectively connects religious values with students' real-life contexts, enhancing their understanding and participation. Students became more active in discussions and felt motivated to apply religious values in their daily lives, mainly through themes like honesty, discipline, and cooperation presented in relatable scenarios. The study implies that the integrated learning model in Islamic Religious Education increases student engagement and supports positive character development. These findings provide valuable insights for designing a more engaging and impactful curriculum that aligns with the goals of Islamic Religious Education
Islamic Values-Based Education Management Strategy at MI Raudhatul Hasanah Tangerang
Get PDFContemporary Islamic educational institutions face complex dynamics that necessitate a reformulation of strategic management paradigms grounded in Islamic values to achieve institutional excellence while upholding spiritual authenticity. This study aims to analyze, evaluate, and formulate an effective Islamic value-based education management strategy at MI Raudhatul Hasanah Tangerang, as well as identify the determining factors that affect the successful implementation of the strategy. The study employed a qualitative method with an interpretive descriptive approach, utilizing an ethnographic case study. This involved in-depth interviews with eight key informants, participatory observation over four months, and documentation analysis using purposive sampling techniques. The study's findings identified four integrated strategic dimensions: strategic planning based on shura-hikmah, resource organization based on the principle of tanzhim-justice, transformational leadership inspired by the example of the Prophet PBUH, and holistic performance evaluation through the muhasabah-muraqabah approach. The novelty of the research led to the development of the Islamic Education Management Tetrahedron Model (TMPI). This comprehensive framework integrates spiritual, managerial, and operational dimensions into a coherent system. This empirical research offers significant implications for the development of superior and sustainable Islamic education management systems, providing strategic recommendations for the creation of technology-based management information systems and managerial capacity-building centers for Islamic education leaders to ensure the scalability and sustainability of the model

Pengaruh Video Sistaya Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Pada Materi Sistem Tata Surya
No full textPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Video SISTAYA terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa sekolah dasar pada materi sistem tata surya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh video SISTAYA terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi sistem tata surya; untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh penggunaan video SISTAYA dan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi sistem tata surya; untuk mengetahui respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media video SISTAYA pada materi sistem tata surya. Pemahaman konsep pada siswa sekolah dasar masih rendah terutama pada materi sistem tata surya , dan pemahaman konsep merupakan kompetensi pembelajaran yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa sekolah dasar. Hal tersebut menjadi alasan penelitian ini dilakukan. Metode kuasi eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian dengan desain non equivalent control group design. Penyebaran angket juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui respons siswa. Penggunaan video SISTAYA terhadap 30 siswa kelas VI A memberikan pengaruh positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video SISTAYA memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa sekolah dasar. Terbukti dengan hasil uji beda rerata yang didapatkan melalui hasil posttest kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada hasil pretest. Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara penggunaan video SISTAYA dan pembelajaran konvensional, terbukti melalui hasil uji beda rerata kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan video SISTAYA mengalami peningkatan yang lebih besar daripada yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Respons positif juga diberikan oleh siswa terhadap penggunaan video SISTAYA. Terbukti melalui hasil angket, siswa merasa senang dan mudah memahami materi sistem tata surya menggunakan video SISTAYA
