    Corpus Analysis of Verb and Preposition Collocations in the word "Āmana": A Study of Meaning and Function in the Qur'an

    Collocations in Arabic, especially in Qur'anic texts, play a significant role in constructing linguistic meaning and function. Although corpus linguistic studies of the Qur'ān have grown, research specifically analysing collocations of verbs and prepositions in this sacred text is limited. While previous studies have focused more on analysing the semantics of individual words or their morphological relationships, this study offers a novelty by integrating corpus-based collocation analysis in examining the relationship between the verb āmana ‘believe’ and its accompanying prepositions in Surah Al-Baqarah. This study uses a corpus linguistic approach to systematically identify collocation patterns with the help of AntConc software. The analysis includes frequency of occurrence, lexical distribution, as well as semantic interpretation of collocations in the context of the Qur'an. The results show that the collocation āmana bi ‘believe in’ is the most dominant form, appearing 18 times, which reflects the transcendental faith relationship between the subject and the object of belief, such as Allah or His revelation. Meanwhile, the collocations āmana li ‘believe for’ and āmana min ‘believe from’ reveal more complex social nuances and origins of faith, suggesting that the meaning of faith in the Qur'ān has wider contextual variations compared to conventional meanings. Thus, this study contributes to the study of corpus linguistics, Qur'anic exegesis, and Arabic language teaching, particularly in understanding how collocation patterns play a role in shaping theological meaning. The novelty of this research lies in the application of corpus-based collocation analysis in the study of sacred texts, which has rarely been done comprehensively in Arabic linguistic studies. The results of this study can also support a more accurate and contextualised translation of the Qur'an

    Students' Perceptions of ChatGPT as a Learning Aid in Arabic Language Education at Universitas Islam KH. Ruhiat Cipasung

    Along with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, ChatGPT, as one of the AI-based learning tools, is increasingly used across various educational sectors. However, are students truly prepared to embrace this change in Arabic language learning? This research is essential to investigate how students of Arabic Language Education at Universitas Islam KH. Ruhiat Cipasung responds to the use of ChatGPT, given that this application offers easy access to information but also brings potential negative impacts that have not been widely discussed. This study aims to explore students’ perceptions regarding the benefits, challenges, and impacts of using ChatGPT in Arabic language learning. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with students as participants. The results show that while students view ChatGPT as a tool that can accelerate information access and enhance learning efficiency, they also identify several limitations, such as a lack of understanding of cultural and religious contexts, technical issues, and concerns about over-reliance on technology, which could diminish critical thinking skills. This study offers recommendations to strike a balance between the use of ChatGPT and traditional teaching methods that emphasize direct interaction and discussion, thereby creating a balance between technology and social skills in Arabic language education

    Education in Indonesia currently faces systemic challenges, such as the dominance of technocratic approaches, inequality of access, and lack of critical awareness in the learning process. This article aims to explore the contribution of the philosophy of educational psychology through Habermas' critical approach in forming a more democratic and emancipatory educational paradigm. The research was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review method of Habermas' works and literature on educational philosophy, educational psychology, and national education policy. The focus of the study is directed at the ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions of education, as well as the application of communicative action theory in the learning environment. The results of the study show that Habermas' approach, which emphasizes dialogue, communicative rationality, and emancipation, is relevant in dismantling oppressive power structures in education. The application of this theory is able to create an inclusive and equal educational public space, and encourage active participation of students. This concept is in line with the current direction of Indonesian education, such as Merdeka Belajar, and can strengthen character education and social awareness. In conclusion, the integration of Habermas' critical approach in Indonesian education provides a conceptual and practical foundation for the transformation of the education system towards a humanistic and reflective democratic society

    Tridharma of higher education, namely community service carried out by RT 04 RW 02, group 05 of the Nusantara Real Work Lecture (KKN) Religious Moderation UIN Sunan Gunung Djati located in Sukamulya Village. Arts and culture are fundamental aspects of community life. In this context, art studios play an important role as centers of activities that not only maintain and develop art, but also as a forum for community empowerment. The researchers found various problems, one of which is related to the arts and artists, especially the Panglipur Galih Art Studio in Sukamulya Village, which always has a variety of arts that attract attention and need support from various parties. The purpose of this service is to be able to explore the potential of art in Sukamulya Village and assist in efforts to increase the potential for community empowerment so that the community will feel a positive impact from the development of the art studio. The expected impact of this empowerment is not only economically but also socially and culturally. This service method certainly leads to steps that have been adjusted by LP2M from cycle I to cycle IV and the empowerment strategy used includes three things. The first is planning, the second is social action and the third is community development of art practitioners.     Waringin Jaya Village, where the majority of the population relies on agriculture, faces significant challenges related to soil quality degradation and dependence on synthetic chemical fertilizers. These issues impact agricultural productivity and environmental health. As a solution, an initiative to produce liquid organic fertilizer using locally available materials is expected to transform the community's mindset and agricultural practices. Through training and mentoring, residents are encouraged to engage in the fertilizer production process, which not only enhances knowledge but also fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility toward the environment. This study aims to explore the community empowerment process in Waringin Jaya Village and analyze its impact on economic and environmental well-being.     Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Audio-Visual untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Hafalan Santri di TPA Al-Barokah Bukuan Samarinda

    This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using audio-visual based interactive learning media in improving the memorization abilities of students at TPA Al-Barokah Bukuan. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that audio-visual based learning media, such as animated videos of Al-Qur'an verses, audio murottals, and interactive applications, are able to increase learning motivation, simplify the memorization process, and speed up students' memory retention. This media also helps students understand the context and meaning of memorized verses, thereby improving the overall quality of memorization. However, there are several obstacles such as limited technological facilities and the need for teacher training to maximize the use of this media. This research concludes that audio-visual based learning media is an effective, innovative solution for improving students' memorization abilities, provided that there is a need for adequate support and training facilities.&nbsp

    Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa Sebakung Jaya Melalui Pelatihan Fardhu Kifayah untuk Pengurusan Jenazah

    Abstract: The tradition of handling corpses is an important part of social and religious life in this village. However, demographic and structural changes in recent years have affected the community's ability to carry out corpse management duties. The main limitation is the number of individuals capable of carrying out this task, which only consists of three people with adequate knowledge and skills. To overcome this problem, UINSI KKN students have initiated the Fardhu Kifayah training program with the aim of empowering more community members to play a role in handling corpses. This program involves collaboration between village officials, local religious leaders and community institutions to increase community understanding and skills in managing corpses in accordance with religious principles. The training process includes activity planning, implementation and evaluation. The outcomes of this program include increasing participants' understanding, increasing active participation, improving the quality of corpse management, community independence in managing corpses, and the potential to become a model of best practice in empowering rural communities. Keywords : Community Empowerment, Funeral Management, Religious Practices   Abstrak Tradisi pengurusan jenazah menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan sosial dan agama di desa ini. Namun, perubahan demografis dan struktural dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah memengaruhi kemampuan masyarakat untuk menjalankan tugas pengurusan jenazah. Keterbatasan utama adalah jumlah individu yang mampu melaksanakan tugas ini, yang hanya terdiri dari tiga orang dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan memadai. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, mahasiswa KKN UINSI telah menginisiasi program pelatihan Fardhu Kifayah dengan tujuan memberdayakan lebih banyak anggota masyarakat untuk berperan dalam pengurusan jenazah. Program ini melibatkan kolaborasi antara pihak desa, tokoh agama setempat, dan lembaga masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengurusan jenazah sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip agama. Proses pelatihan mencakup perencanaan kegiatan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil luaran dari program ini mencakup peningkatan pemahaman peserta, peningkatan partisipasi aktif, peningkatan kualitas pengurusan jenazah, kemandirian masyarakat dalam pengurusan jenazah, dan potensi menjadi model praktik terbaik dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat di pedesaan.     Advancing TOEFL Proficiency among Darussalam International High School Students: Community Service Research

    This study explores a community-based TOEFL preparation program for secondary students at an international school in Samarinda, East Kalimantan an underrepresented context in current research. Departing from conventional test-focused instruction, the program emphasized student autonomy, project-based learning, and reflective practices within a non-formal educational framework. Using a qualitative approach, the study involved 18 students from Grades 11 and 12 to explore their experiences and engagement in language learning. Rather than merely tracking score improvements, the research focused on how students interacted with collaborative and contextual learning strategies. Results showed that most participants reached Good to Very Good proficiency in Listening (83.33%), Structure and Written Expression (72.23%), and Reading Comprehension (66.67%). The program not only improved academic English skills but also enhanced motivation, confidence, and active participation. This study offers an innovative, student-centered model for TOEFL preparation, valuable for educators and practitioners working in similar educational and community settings

    Latar belakang penelitian ini muncul di tengah perkembangan teknologi yang cepat, di mana internet digunakan di berbagai aspek kehidupan, muncullah media sosial yang menjadi dunia bagi masyarakat saat ini. Banyak yang menggunakan media sosial dengan berbagai alasan dan tujuan. Beberapa orang memanfaatkan media sosial untuk hal positif salah satunya ialah dakwah. Konten login hadir dengan membawa konsep yang unik dan menarik perhatian netizen, konten ini sering kali masuk trending di youtube dan viral di media sosial lainnya yang mulai mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat terutama gen Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan uji regresi linear sederhana. Populasinya ialah mahasiwa KPI UINSI Samarinda yang masih aktif dan teknik sampling yang digunakan ialah Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner sebagai data primer dan dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung. Variabel konten login menggunakan indikator dari terpaan media, dan variabel komunikasi interpersonal menggunakan indikator dari sikap komunikasi, yang diturunkan menjadi petanyaan dan pernyataan dalam konteks moderasi beragama. Keabsahan data diuji dengan uji validitas dan reabilitas. Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program komputer IBM SPSS 26. Dari hasil uji regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Yang berarti variabel Konten Login (X) dapat dikatakan berpengaruh terhadap variabel Komunikasi Interpersonal (Y). Hasil dari koefisien regresi ditulis dengan rumus regresi linear sederhana menjadi Y = 4,981 + 1,015 X, yang berarti setiap penambahan 1% nilai Konten Login, maka nilai Komunikasi Interpersonal bertambah sebesar 1,015. Nilai koefisien regresi tersebut diketahui positif, atau dengan kata lain semakin seseorang mahasiswa terpapar dengan konten login maka akan semakin naik pula nilai terhadap komunikasi interpersonalnya. Hasil dari koefisien determinasi memiliki nilai R Square sebesar 0,650 yang dapat diartikan bahwa pengaruh konten login terhadap komunikasi interpersonal ialah sebesar 65%. Sementara sisanya sebesar 35% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini

    UPAYA SOCIAL COMPARISON DALAM PEMBENTUKAN CITRA DIRI PADA PENGGUNA INSTAGRAM

    Teknologi informasi di era 5.0 memudahkan komunikasi dan akses informasi. Media sosial, terutama instagram sangat populer di Indonesia, menurut  Cindy Mutia Annur, Indonesia menempati posisi ke 4 yakni sebanyak 89,15 juta pengguna. Instagram digunakan oleh remaja dan dewasa muda untuk komunikasi, melakukan personal branding dan membangun relasi sosial. Namun, media sosial juga bisa memicu pemikiran berlebihan (overthinking), depresi, perasaan insecure dan FOMO. Khususnya usia 18-24 tahun, sering membandingkan diri dengan orang lain, yang dapat memotivasi peningkatan diri atau menimbulkan perasaan insecure. Citra diri yang terbentuk di media sosial sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan sosial dan gaya hidup pengguna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya social comparison dalam pembentukan citra diri pada pengguna instagram. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data ialah observasi dan wawancara. Informan pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan beberapa kriteria yang telah ditentukan sesuai latar belakang serta fokus kepada tujuan penelitian yang sesuai di bidang komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan snowball sampling sebagai teknik pengumpulan informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan sosial di kalangan mahasiswa KPI UINSI Samarinda mendorong mereka untuk membandingkan diri. Citra diri yang dibangun oleh mahasiswa KPI UINSI Samarinda terdapat 6 citra diri antara lain, model hijab, content creator, master of ceremony, voice over talent, influencer, dan motivator.
