A Case Study on the Accessibility Factors of the Elderly in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
The ageing population is a phenomenon in countries worldwide. The elderly will be marginalised when they travel less due to inaccessibility. This study distributed questionnaires to 600 elderly aged 60 and above in Kota Kinabalu. Factor Analysis is used to analyse 28 parameters of the factor implemented accessibility towards their living requirements. This study developed four main factors: personal, land use, transportation facilities, and temporal. Due to their physical incapacity, the land use aspect has the most significant concern. The findings can assist the government and agencies in implementing policies and strategies to fulfil the mobility needs of the elderly
Characteristics of the Local Malay Traditional Pelangi Cloth Motifs and Patterns Design
This project established the characteristics of the local Malay traditional Pelangi cloth motifs and the specialty of their pattern design. The field research was conducted through observation at selected museums around Malaysia Peninsular, and interviews with curators and textile experts at the national craft institute, to gather the data and information through visual documentation of Pelangi cloth, for analysis purposes. The result discovered how the identification approach showed the recognition of motifs and patterns design was developed according to the Pelangi cloth traditional characteristics base on textile structure, motifs shape, pattern design arrangement, colour, technique, and product processes. This paper also shows the comparison between the local traditional Pelangi cloth with one of the traditional textiles in Malaysia to look into the relationships between them. This paper also successfully explains the types of traditional Pelangi cloth motifs more clearly since this textile industry has died out and is still not highlighted to the public
Establishment of Retrospective Art on the Campus
The goal of this project is to use UiTM in outdoor settings to improve the area around them. Thus, we hope to disseminate information about how we managed to turn our study of art practises into a public art exhibit at the UiTM campus. To paradigmatically form a new kind of design work, the procedures involved reflection and review of relevant literature and artwork. The work shows how the concept of the UiTM retrospective's foundation was incorporated into the wall through the chosen colour scheme. The idea behind and the mapping of the environment's functionality as a tourist destination inspired this project
Understanding the Digital Storytelling Process for Museum Exhibition through Content Analysis
This research aims to identify, through various experts and scholars, of established digital storytelling process. The museum's environment has seen a substantial shift. Technology has allowed new engagement, visitor expectations have increased, rivalry for time and resources has risen, and buildings now serve more complex functions. There is no sign of a digital storytelling guideline for curators in Malaysia, even though digital storytelling has begun to emerge. Using content analysis, qualitative research methodology was employed. This finding establishes four primary processes and eight subprocesses for digital storytelling among experts and scholars
Effect of e-Service Quality on Customer Engagement Behaviors: Insight from the hotels in Malaysia
The reopening process has begun Covid-19, especially in the hotel operation. Therefore, the hotel industry must understand the need to influence customers' choices through advanced of information technology (IT). This study is intended to explore the effect of t e-service quality on customer engagement behaviors in Malaysian hotels. This study was analyzed via PLS-SEM with 247 respondents. The findings indicate that system availability significantly influences customer engagement behaviors, followed by efficiency, system availability, privacy/security, and fulfillment. Based on what this study found, Malaysian hotel service providers will be able to improve the quality of their e-services to get customers more involved
Malay Traditional Motifs Character in Jewellery Design
This study determines the traditional Malay motifs design that was discovered in the jewellery artefact collections from the National Museum Kuala Lumpur. The visit and support with the observation of the jewellery collection assisted in the process of digital compilation. Then the categorisation of types of jewellery was then divided into three categories of traditional accessories. The identification of motifs clearly showed how the formation of flora, fauna, abstract, cosmos and geometric characters was used and developed. Comparison of Landmarks in Medan, Bukittinggi, and Siak as Heritage Tourism
As part of heritage tourism features, landmarks play a vital role in enhancing a city's identity to make it more attractive and recognizable. Sumatra has heritage tourism with a similar culture and history to Medan, Bukittinggi, and Siak. This study aims to determine how this Landmark compares with similar heritage tourism in Sumatra. The third essential element of landmarks, iconography, contrast, and accessibility, was examined using the mixed-method. This study shows that monumental architecture and historical histories have become landmarks in the three historical tourist cities
Artistic Community's Transposition of Space into Installation Art
This project intended to highlight the art community's environment installation the SULAPAN URUNG TAKA that showcases the creativity of young artists. The collective artists are linked common ideologies, aesthetics, and beliefs. It is a way to celebrate artists' individual creativity, and the installation is also a creative celebration and an introduction to the audience, where they can experience the structure firsthand. The rooftop of the NafaSyahdu Art Studio was chosen for a permanent installation that is conceived as a collaborative work of art and can be used as a meeting place by the community and the general public

In conclusion, this study aims to investigate how augmented reality technology is employed in Malaysian educational institutions from the viewpoints of Malaysian educators. Evaluation of Interface Design Principles' Usability in Permanent Museum Exhibition
The majority of museums today provide us with an unforgettable experience through interactive digital exhibitions. Due to the failure of the interface design usability of the exhibition systems and implementation, it was discovered that several digital projects failed to achieve the results promised in previous studies, which negatively impacted the interaction and experiences of visitors. With this in mind, an empirical usability study on interface design principles was done to determine how interface design concepts may be applied to a permanent museum exhibition.
