Factors influencing tourist to engage with cultural tourism in Malaysia
Cultural tourism is an essential industry in helping to increase the interaction between the existing cultural diversity as it establishes and reinforces an identity for a country. The aim of this study is to identify the factors that influencing tourists to engage with cultural tourism in Malaysia. Hence, this study investigates the direct and indirect factors of tourist engagement through satisfaction levels on the tourist destinations. Data is collected from the cooperation of the tourist to help provide insights into the development of the cultural tourism industry in Malaysia. To investigate tourist engagement, this study exerts Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) that comprised of descriptive analysis and correlations. Moreover, a literature review proved that uniqueness, campaign and promotion, and accessibility were the main factors for tourists to start off and continuously engage with the cultural tourism industry. The result shows the higher mean score is 4.3842 which is the Uniqueness, and the most significant factor from the independent variables is Uniqueness between tourist engagement with cultural tourism in Malaysia
Impak Pembangunan Pelancongan Warisan Terhadap Komuniti Setempat Di Kampung Teluk Gedung, Pulau Pangkor, Perak.
Pembangunan pelancongan warisan merupakan salah satu daripada sumber pendapatan negara dan identiti negara. Kampung Teluk Gedung telah mengalami perubahan yang drastik dari segi penempatan serta corak kehidupan. Hasil pembangunan pelancongan warisan secara fizikalnya, menjadi sumbangan yang paling jelas adalah dengan membangunkan kawasan-kawasan yang sebelumnya tidak dikenali supaya menjadi terkenal dan dikunjungi ramai. Kajian ini memberi fokus kepada impak yang berlaku terhadap pembangunan pelancongan warisan terhadap komuniti setempat di Kampung Teluk Gedung, Pulau Pangkor. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti bentuk pembangunan pelancongan warisan yang berlaku terhadap komuniti setempat, mengenal pasti perubahan yang berlaku melalui aspek sosial dan ekonomi dalam komuniti setempat serta menganalisis langkah-langkah pembaharuan yang perlu dilakukan hasil daripada impak pembangunan pelancongan yang berlaku di Kampung Teluk Gedung, Pulau Pangkor. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran iaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang melibatkan borang soal selidik dan temubual serta tinjauan yang melibatkan hubungan antara pengkaji dengan komuniti yang dikaji. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada borang soal selidik yang mendapat sebanyak 70 orang responden dan temubual yang melibatkan empat orang informan serta tinjauan dilakukan di tempat yang dikaji agar memastikan objektif kajian dapat tercapai. Secara keseluruhannya, dapatan kajian mendapati bahawa bentuk pembangunan pelancongan warisan yang berlaku adalah menerusi tapak warisan bersejarah dan perubahan perumahan nelayan. Manakala, bagi perubahan aspek dan ekonomi adalah menerusi pembangunan. Tambahan pula terdapat langkah-langkah yang akan diambil oleh penduduk setempat dalam menghadapi perubahan yang berlaku. Hasil daripada kajian, pengkaji telah mencadangkan beberapa cadangan yang sesuai dengan permasalahan kajian yang melibatkan kesedaran kepada kerajaan dan juga komuniti yang terlibat. Menerusi kajian ini, pengkaji dapat mensimpulkan bahawa tapak bersejarah berpotensi dalam memajukan kehidupan bagi sesebuah komuniti
Acceptance of customer on using online food delivery applications
Nowadays, there has been a rise of online food delivery applications as it is now widely used, especially in this time of COVID-19 pandemic. Food businesses and restaurants alike are expected to provide food delivering services now in hopes to keep the business alive. Research has shown that there are a few important factors that influence the public in using online food delivery applications. This study aims to determine three main factors that play a role in the acceptance of using online food delivery applications. These three factors are performance expectation, social influence and perceived trust. For the purpose of gathering information and data, an online questionnaire has been distributed through social media. The results of the study shows that performance expectation, social influence and perceived trust have a significant relationship to customers’ acceptance of using online food delivery applications. Based on Pearson Correlation Coefficient analysis, it is said that there are positive correlations between all these factors and the acceptance of customers on using online food delivery applications. The most influential factor of customer acceptance is performance expectation with the highest average mean of 4.07. In Malaysia, it can be said that majority of online food delivery application users prioritised both performance expectation and perceived trust more compared to social influence
The factors that influence local fruit preferences among teenagers
This study was conducted to examine the factors that influence local fruit preferences among teenagers. The independent variables of this study comprised taste, texture, color and price; whereas the dependent variable in this study was local fruit preferences. This study had four objectives which is to examine the relationships of taste toward teenagers’ local fruit preferences, to examine the relationships of texture toward teenagers’ local fruit preferences, to examine the relationships of color toward teenagers’ local fruit preferences and to examine the relationships of price toward teenagers’ local fruit preferences. The quantitative research method was selected and questionnaire was used as the research instrument to collect data. Simple random sampling method was used and 384 respondents were evaluated in this study. The data was collected using Google form. The data collected is analysed by using Statistical Packages for Social Science Version 26 (SPSS Version 26) software based on descriptive statistic, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis. As for the result, all of the independent variables (taste, texture, color and price) that had been studied in this research had significant relationships towards dependent variable (local fruit preferences) among teenagers in Malaysia. Through this study it will understand the factor influence local fruit preferences among teenagers and a better understanding and knowledge regarding fruit’s taste, texture, color and price
Factors that influence visitors’ purchase intention toward Kelantan cuisine
Kelantan has a strong food image in Malaysia. This research was undertaken to analyze some of the questions that have evolved. This study was conducted to investigate some of the problems that occur. This study identifies the relationship between food quality, price, and service quality with factors that influence visitors'' purchase intention towards Kelantan cuisine. This research aims to help small and midsize food enterprises to identify what factors influence visitors' purchase intention toward Kelantan cuisine. The main method was used was questionnaires by researchers to collect and gather all the relevant data to achieve the research objectives. In this research, data presentation quantitative has been used by researchers. The questionnaire will be administered to 384 respondents who meet with the characteristics of the respondents and the purposes of the report. All the results of this study are very encouraging and all the research questions have been answered by the respondent through these findings and results. Therefore, the researcher can conclude that there was a significant relationship between the food quality, price, and service quality of food in Kelantan with factors that influence visitors'' purchase intention towards Kelantan cuisine. Therefore, the result shown was reliable and it was accepted during this study. This study helped a lot of people to determine what they are like about food in Kelantan. So, this study also helped to identify those people who come to visit Kelantan just for looking at food because of food quality, food price, or service quality
Effects of perceived sexual harassment on women workers’ wellbeing in the hospitality industry
There are many issues about the sexual harassment happened to victim regardless of age, race, and gender. Majority of the victims are women, so for this research is most focus to the effects of perceived sexual harassment on women workers’ well-being in the hospitality industry. The objectives of this research are to analyze the relationship between the working environment and women worker’s well-being in the hospitality industry, also to examine the relationship between personal factors and women workers well-being in the hospitality industry. This research is using a quantitative method and the data that has been collected is analyzed. Interestingly this research has shown many the factors that have caused the sexual harassment and the effect of the sexual harassment to women workers’ well-being
The influence of Malay food towards international student
Food is recognized as an expressive of identity and as something that can evoke feelings that can create emotional. Yet, it is a common problem among the international student is that they prefer to choose their own nation foods instead of trying new ones. In this study is focuses on the acceptance of Malay food among the international student. A quantitative method is used in completing this research. A Simple random sampling is used to collect a data and analysed with Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 26. The result finding is support all the variables. The result indicate that many factors lead to attempting of international student to try Malay food. Although Malaysia is considered as food paradise, however there still a lot of work need to be done to make Malaysia’s food culture globally recognised and need to maintain its uniqueness to ensure that the food quality doesn’t drain out over generation. Hopefully, the information provided during this research can help the relevant parties to introduce the Malaysia’s food culture, which in turn make Malaysia to be globally recognised by the whole world
The Impact Of Covid19 To The Unemployment Rate Among Hospitality Students At University Malaysia Kelantan
The COVID-19 pandemics are large scale outbreaks of infectious diseases that can significantly cause severe economic, social, and political harm. This study aims to examine the relationship between the impacts of COVID19 towards the unemployment rate among hospitality students at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. In this study, it also discusses the impact of restaurants and hotel industry, impact on the job market for hospitality and job seeking among hospitality undergraduates which then can identify the level of unemployment rate. This study has used the quantitative research approach which involved questionnaire methods for data collection. Descriptive analysis, reliability analysis and Pearson Correlation Coefficient analysis have been applied on the usable data. From the results gained of this study, it will be a reference that will redound to the benefit of society at the moment. The findings of this study could provide a guideline for government and academicians to further extend strategies to satisfy hospitality students
Factor influencing fast food consumption among hospitality student in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan
Nowadays, there are changes in consumer trends of eating out and increased the popular choices of fast-food restaurants. The increase of the popularity of fast-food restaurants is because Malaysians adopt and adapt western styles of food style. This demand for fast food is increasing because of convenience, cost, menu, flavour, and taste. In addition to the Malaysian changes in eating trends, this study is focused on the intention of influencing fast food consumption among hospitality students at the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The objective of this study is to grasp the eating behaviour of University Malaysia Kelantan students towards fast food consumption. As for that, the quantitative methodology is used in this study. Simple random sampling is used as a sampling frame. The total number of 352 respondents was collected and analyzed using the Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) version 25. This study's results elucidate there is a positive relationship between the variables taken for this study. The finding from this research is plausibility to engage for the future research

This study focuses on the acceptance of E-Commerce Applications. This study examines the acceptance of E-Commerce applications among higher education students in Kelantan. This study investigates the relationship among perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk towards the acceptance of E-Commerce among higher education students. Quantitative research was carried out to accomplish this research. Simple random sampling was used, and responses from 384 respondents were gathered. Descriptive analysis, reliability test, and Pearson correlation were used to analyse the data.
